We had issues with broken doorknobs, malfunctioning dryer and door locks. Overall cleanliness of interior and exterior of the home was very poor. This is a very nice neighborhood and I have no doubt the property would be much better if it was clean and maintained. For perspective we stayed here at the end we of the summer season. Owner was quick to respond to the many questions and concerns that came up during my family’s stay but did not necessarily resolve issues like broken off exterior door handle.

Wow! We really enjoyed our stay. It was very well stocked - it had everything you could think of and everything we needed. There were plenty of beach chairs and beach toys. Fully stocked kitchen. The location was great. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Nice little touches throughout the house. Beautiful view. This was a step above!

Gorgeous house with everything needed for the perfect vacation. The house was great for my family of 5. Kitchen was well stocked with everything plus some. I would suggest getting your groceries at Walmart and stocking up as it is about a 20 min. drive away from the house. If you are looking for a laid back, quiet vacation this is the perfect spot. Cherry was wonderful to work with!

This house was amazing! Our families fit perfectly, the kiddos were entertained and it was just a 30 second drive to the pool or beach. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans to cook.Cherry was so kind and responsive. Will definitely be back!!!!

We absolutely loved our time at the Blue Pearl! We went with our family and another family- both with kids aged 2-5. The accommodations worked perfectly. The beach was an easy walk from the house and the wagon made it even better for hauling our things. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to have every meal at the house. The owner made communication so easy and immediately responded to any questions I had. I highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking for a Galveston getaway! We will definitely go back!

Absolutely everything you need for a family getaway! Clean, comfortable beds, decorated lovely, great kitchen items, plenty of everything. The beach items were more than enough including beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, toys, etc. Great beach and the neighborhood was fantastic and we always felt safe. Communication with owner was fantastic! We loved that it was a little away from the hustle of town. Stop at Seven Seas mart . And have cash for the Ice cream 🍦 truck 💜! Will definitely return…. Enjoy

Great vacation home

We’re driving home and already checking dates to visit again this summer…that’s how exceptional our stay at The Blue Pearl was this week. From communications, cleanliness, thoughtful touches, coffee table books, beautiful design aesthetic inside with a well kept, beautiful neighborhood to enjoy on the short walk to the beach. We loved our stay here! It’s such a cute beach house perfect distance from the beach and the pool. The host was very kind and accommodating. We had a lot of fun for a beach weekend here.

The house was in perfect condition, the kitchen is well stocked as far as appliances and utensils go, the neighborhood is great and within easy access to the beach. My family and I had a great time and Cherry was superb in her response and helping us out (we left an it behind and she went above and beyond to make sure we could get it back). I’m very pleased with the experience and would def come back again.

Blue Pearl Beach was the best maintained beach rental in Galveston. After enduring two back to back hurricanes in 2021, you automatically assess homes and businesses. There were numerous rentals available, but I was so thankful we selected the Blue Pearl Beach. It was affordable, clean, a lot of extras that you don’t even see in the pictures. I told Cherry we will definitely be back again. We weren’t able to enjoy the beach because it was so cold during our stay, but we had so much fun just enjoying all that Galveston has to offer.

The Blue Pearl was absolutely wonderful! From the ease of working with the host to the location to the size and beauty of the home; all were fantastic. Cherry is incredibly helpful and welcoming. The house was very clean and decorated beautifully. The location was an easy walk to the beach; no golf cart needed. The host provides a plethora of beach items, including a nice sturdy wagon to carry all our stuff. Due to the very chilly wind, we spent a lot of time on the swing or in one of the chairs on the deck listening to the ocean. The view is incredibly peaceful. Overall, we would love to stay here again!

Awesome house, immediate access to beach, and very clean

Lovely home and host. House is exactly as pictured and very cozy. It has everything that you need to cook meals away from home. Area is nice and quiet and beach was nice too. The host is very quick to reply to communications and very accommodating. We had an issue with our initial reservation due to having a sick infant and she helped us out by moving the date a few days. Highly recommend this place!

We have stayed at Blue Pearl 2 years now. It’s a beautiful home and perfect for the 6 of us. The beach is a short walk and Cherry has made it easy to get to and from the beach by supplying a wagon, umbrellas, and beach chairs. Beach is quiet and clean. Not overcrowded. The only complaint I have is that it takes some planning as going into Galveston is not a quick drive but for us the trade off for a nice clean home and a quiet beach is worth the inconvenience of a longer drive for shopping and attractions. We will choose the place again and again.

We had an amazing time in Galveston at the Blue Pearl! The home is lovely, very clean, and had enough room for 7 guests without feeling too crowded. The location is perfect, nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the ocean from the balcony. The owner has great communication and we had no real issues to be concerned with. We will definitely plan to stay here again on our next trip to Galveston!

My family and I had a great experience at the Blue Pearl Cottage. The beach is a quick 5 minute walk away and the home is stocked with anything you could possibly need for a successful beach day with kids. You won’t regret booking this wonderful, charming home!

We stayed in this home for a week at the end of May 2022. The neighborhood is small and quiet (there is some new home construction but my children napped through it so it was not bad). There is direct access to a beach that was not crowded, had no cars and was pretty clean about 7 houses away from this home’s driveway. The home was stocked with everything that we needed for the week. We had excellent communication with Cherry. There was a need for the A/C to be checked and not only was it fixed promptly but she followed up immediately. The house is clean. The beds were comfortable. Towels were wonderful, fluffy and soft. The beach nearby was excellent for a family with young children. They have a wagon with beach toys and boogie boards, etc available to use. While staying at this home, you have access to a pool. It’s across the main street but it wasn’t really worth it. It’s small and unsupervised so it wasn’t always the cleanest (debris from trees and a lot of birds around). We would definitely stay here again!
