We had a really nice time at this house. It was close to the beach and within walking distance of near by restaurants. The ocean was really rough and it was quite windy every day which caused us to be a little cold on the beach. The neighbors were very friendly as well!

Girls trip! We enjoyed our stay! Off road parking was perfect. Beds comfy. Plenty of room and house met all our needs.

We all enjoyed Galveston and the property was just right for us.

This home is huge with plenty of space for a large family. It was very clean, had everything we could think of in the kitchen to cook with. The kids loved making s’mores over the fire pit and I loved how close we were to everything. We didn’t have to drive anywhere and we had plenty of parking. Would love to go back soon!

There was some A/C problems. Ethel, the owner, got the issue resolved for us so we could enjoy the rest of the week. The house had everything we needed for the stay. Love the house!

This property was just what my family needed for a week's getaway for fun and sun! It was spacious and there was room for all 14 of us. It was the perfect location to the beach and to Pleasure Pier. The house is older and could use some updates, but it had plenty of charm and was very comfortable. We loved that the bathroom on the main level was handicapped accessible (you don't often find that). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were perfect. There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms for all of us. The kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, and cups for our group - the only thing that there could have been more of were teaspoons and pots to cook in. There were plenty of skillets and baking sheets! We grilled outside several nights and enjoyed the big back deck. The parking was good as well and we were able to park 4 vehicles out back with no difficulty. We really loved this house and would definitely book it again! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with our family - it was just what we needed for a week of relaxation, family time, and memory making!

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for us. We had elderly grandparents, adults, a teenager, kids, and two toddlers with us. It was an easy walk to the beach and to Pleasure Pier, even with toddlers. It's a great location! The house was fully stocked with everything we could need. Cooking in the kitchen was so easy thanks to the thoughtful stocking of kitchen and dining items. We did a lot of cooking! There were plenty of comfortable bedroom. We loved the charm of the house and we had a wonderful time sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings. It's a great property.

Surprise gathering for my fiancé Everything was nice however getting the key out of the lock box and back into the lock box was a challenge I almost broke my finger nail! Working the television was also a challenge in addition to the batteries was out in most of them. Other than that everything was great. The owner was very helpful

We enjoyed our stay in Galveston. The VRBO was very convenient to everything we wanted to do and see. There was lots of bedrooms for everyone in our group. It was well supplied. We would recommend clearing a kitchen cabinet for guests to use to store some supplies but overall we’re happy with everything.

Great location. Clean and spacious. Great backyard with a deck and a fire pit to gather around. Plenty of parking, too.

The house couldn’t be any better location wise. It’s very spacious. One a few things. The lighting in the backyard hardly works. Also the faucet sink in the restroom downstairs the handle is broken

The house was clean and spacious, great for a large group. The air conditioning in the kitchen and main area could not keep up with the 100 degree temps but the bedrooms stayed cool. The deck was nice and the location to the beach was great. Watch the coffee pot, we had to prop a spoon under to get it to drain. Everything else worked great.

This was the best stocked house we have ever rented. Plenty of everything you would need (dishes, pots, pans, skillets, etc). They even provided enough tp for our entire group. The only thing we wished there was more of was kid sized dishes and utensils. Other than that, the house was amazing. The beds super comfortable and plenty of space for all us.

This is definitely an older home with character, but was quite comfortable for our large group. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. It’s an easy walk to the beach and Pleasure Pier. We roasted marshmallows over the fire pit a few nights and used the deck as a dance floor (for just a few minutes). It was lots of fun. Both kids and adults had a great vacation! Our host was very responsive to our needs and questions and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
