Nice place, good location, good value for money. I saw other reviews mentioning issues with cleanliness/smells/bugs but we didn’t have any of these issues during our stay.

We did have some issues with opening the front door - even when the door is unlocked it seemed to be sticking as if one of the latches wasn’t fully opening upon turning the key. The garden did have quite a few stingy nettles so that might be an issue if guests had children with them that might be playing in the garden.

This apartment was booked for my friend and it was lovely. The host was great. she ensured we are satisfied. she called to ensure everything is alright. she was so calm, lovely, welcoming and just wonderful We are so grateful. My friend who stayed in the aprtment were grateful. the apartment was homely and welcoming. All you need is there. The host is approachable The host also surprised us in a good way. Good value, in a good location. Kitchen and Bathroom were also modern.

There were a few issues during the stay, including one of the back doors being broken and unable to open fully, and the front door was also difficult to lock at times. The general level of cleanliness was poor, particularly with dirt on the floor and marks/stains on all the bedding and sofas. The towels also had a distinct damp smell. There was also a strong drain smell when we arrived which took a few days to fade. There’s a really bright motion activated light outside the main bedroom which goes off regularly throughout the night, and the curtains are very thin. Also when we arrived there was no hot water at all, we messaged the host on the first morning, but didn’t receive a reply until the following morning, by which time we’d managed to find the boiler to realise that the hot water had been switched off. Finally it got very warm in the flat with ventilation being quite poor. Fans were provided, but the effect was quite limited. General condition also wasn’t great with lots of signs of wear and tear.

The place smelt and wasnt the cleanest

The location is great. Just about 2-3 mins walk to Pomfret Road bus stand and can get you to the main Central London. Also, there's nearby Nisa Local, Tesco Express & Co-Op supermarkets.

The flat is a little bit run down. Only the toilet is refurbished and looks new & modern. The bedsheets have stains and not that clean. The backyard is not maintained properly.

was very neat and today and clean, had everything we needed and was a great place, nice and spacious. very professionally handled too.

I couldn’t work out the heating but not the hosts fault

It was reasonably priced, it had all the basic things we needed, like hot water, heating, oven etc. Elise kindly sorted our parking permit which was really appreciated.

It wasn't the cleanest place and the communication with Elise was not as immediate as we would have hoped. The place needed some maintenance work done and we felt we had to report to Elise anything that wasn't working or was broken as we didn't want our deposit to be affected. Also, we were not aware of the deposit until after we booked the place. We have stayed in many places in the UK and Europe but we were never required to pay a deposit. We would also welcome to have more plates, glasses and crockery but again, we could manage.

Based on the reviews on booking.com, everything should have been better. The property was dirty. There were bugs crawling around the rooms, dead bugs in the bath and shower. It was musty and smelt of damp. There was a cigarette burn in the sofa and cracks in the walls. We never stayed there we booked a hotel straight away and left, it was disgusting. Not only that, but the host was unhelpful and would only refund half the amount. We have proof of how bad the property was, that we booked a hotel that night and never stayed there, however she claimed we stayed one night and insisted on only refunding half the amount. Please never book this place it is a waste of time and money. This property definitely has a bug problem and they don’t seem to clean the property. It was shocking. My friend had two bites on his arm from the bugs and we were only in the property an hour. He was then ill all night throwing up. 0/10 would not recommend. The customer service from booking.com were incredibly helpful but the host was not.

Lovely host she always replied whenever you need anything. comfortable beds good location near everything.

I like the fact it was local to everything ie 24 hour corner shops & a cafe right around the corner, I also loved how comfortable the beds were, I also loved the bathroom the shower was perfect

Only thing i did not like was not having much service as it is a basement flat but other than that it was perfect

The place was not clean Very dusty The walls had a lot of Marks due to previous guest Bed sheets were cleaned but had old stains Washing machine facilities did not work Broken chair in living room The place seemed to have a lot of flies probably due to not being cleaned properly No wifi Lamps in both bedrooms did not work

The apartment is very spacious and located in an area close to a train station, shops and other areas like Clapham, Brixton, Peckham where you can do fun things

Unfortunately the apartment is based in the basement flat and I do believe because of this there’s just an overload of insects. If you don’t have issues with insects they it’s a really good spacious property but I had to get fly killer as there was too many around.

Property could of been cleaner. Quite a bit of hair on the floor in the main bedroom. Overall pleasant stay except towards the end, host had complained that we used the second bedroom when we booked for a 2 bedroom apartment and had also blamed a broken plastic chair on us. I explained that this wasn't us but host still felt it had to be taken out of our deposit. Won't book again.
