Very comfortable!

Loved it. The cleanliness of the room wasn’t great. At least three years of dust on the cleaning fans.

The manager of this property is difficult/impossible to contact. He never replies to messages and phone calls go to a voice mailbox that is constantly full. The check-in at the resort’s office was exceptionally arduous due his failure to file the requisite check-in form. We were unable to use the ice maker in the refrigerator because it needed a filter. Only the manager, who could not be reached, can arrange for such repairs. The view is okay (faces the ocean but overlooks a swamp). Next time we rent we will avoid this unit.

After a nightmare check-in, most everything else was good. The condo was exactly as stated and the view lovely. The most serious issue is the fact that the manager of the property never sent me any confirmation or information even though I had paid in full more than a month before arrival and I had contacted him and was told he would email me. He never did and the young man at the office for check-in was left with a problem he hadn't created but had to deal with (and did so with patience and concern). I was told this was not the first time this manager (Remax) has not done his job so I only hope the owners of the condo are paying attention to this issue. The other problem was the sheets on the guest room bed had blood stains! NOT GOOD! A less serious problem was that the mechanisim on one of the recliners (very comfortable) is broken. I truly regret having to leave a negative review because the condo itself is lovely but those two issues are a deal breaker for me to rent this condo again and the owner should be aware of this and take action.

I viewed a considerable number of condos and chose this unit based upon the decor, layout and views. And the grill. Everything was better than I expected. The 8th floor offered views of the Gulf from every room. Portifino is magnificent. Highly recommend the catamaran cruise to see the Blue Angles practice. Quite a spectacle. Thanks Kenneth. I’ll be back!

Great property, very nice rental, well equipped, the only issue was that electric BBQ was not working..

This was a truly amazing property. It was very grand and beautiful. I would definitely stay again. My only critique is that the check in for the entire property is at the same time. Therefore, the wait for checking in was a little long.

We used Portofino as our last family vacation leading to our daughter’s wedding. It was absolutely perfect. Beautiful setting, plenty of space for all of us and all our stuff. The wedding dress, tuxes and bridesmaid dresses all found spacious closets. Comfortable beds made for restful nights. Large living room was a great backdrop for family meals and card games. The kitchen was well-designed and convenient. Best of all, the gorgeous views snd luxurious amenities complimented our wedding week.

The property was great, the property has just about everything you need and you don’t have to leave the resort unless you want to. The view was great and the condo was very nice. I wish there was more communication from the host prior to check in and what the process was, details about the property, WIFI info, etc. Overall we had a pleasant experience and would recommend to others.

They have the cheapest price if you rent early. Check in is easy. Owner communicated well. The condo is clean and spacious. We will rent again .

This was our 3rd stay in Portofino and 2nd at this condo. The location and view from this condo is amazing. We love our time at Portofino and are already counting the days to our stay in October in this same condo.

We loved our stay! The condo is beautifully decorated- like another review stated, the pictures don’t do it justice. Portofino is serene and beautiful with lots to do. The only thing I would have liked is clearer communication with the property management company. We had issues with check-in and had no check in instructions, but the manager was very helpful once I called. There was also a miscommunication with the cleaning crew who showed up two days early and questioned why we were still there. Clear instructions in Vrbo app or even just written in the condo would be helpful. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Unit was nice and quite charming with the nautical theme through out. Breathtaking views of beach in every room!! Owner was having new fridge installed during our stay. Satisfaction knowing he cared about his property rental. Kept in touch through the delivery process and setup with onsite maintenance. Master bedroom remote wouldn’t work and seemingly could not be paired to TV by maintenance after several attempts, slight inconvenience to get up and down to change channel. This is a charming unit to stay!

We've vacationed at Portofino Island Resort 16 years now, and it never disappoints! This was our first stay in Tower 4. The Nautical Whimsy appeared to have some newer upgrades and was as beautiful as the pictures online. Everything was clean and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

We had a great visit - though checkin was a bit tough. They didn’t have our stay on record, but this was quickly solved with a call to the owner. The rest of the stay was great! We’ll be back for sure.

The property had a great straight on view of the Gulf with a wonderful balcony to take it all in. The location of the building next to the central facilities is great, as we had to take advantage of the indoor pool a couple of days due to weather. The condo is nicely furnished and the remodel of the master bath is very nice. A couple of minor issues - could use more hangers, the pans could stand to be replaced and we had a minor issue with living room TV that we had to trouble shoot and repair on our own.

The condo was better than the pictures. Very clean and well maintained. The view as soon as you opened the front door was breathtaking. We had some maintenance issues related to hurricane Sally that the owner called maintenance into fix and the rest of the stay was flawless. I would absolutely stay in this condo again. The resort is fantastic and everyone was very friendly.

When we arrived, Portifino had no record of our accommodations. This was quickly rectified but not by the property however, upon being given entrance our unit was a disgusting mess. We had just driven seven hours and had no place to stay. The only way Portifino helped was by giving us contact numbers they had on file for vrbo and a “ good luck”. We looked into getting our cleaning service ourselves asked Portifino to send a cleaning crew but they could/ would not. Finally, after a back and forth between Portifino and vrbo.....vrbo was able to help. The unit was then made spotless for our stay. Portifino was for the most part a pleasant stay , and if we return I would rent through one directly through their site.

The condo is beautiful and has the amazing view of the Gulf.

There is a lot to do in the resort, with seven pools, and access to the gulf and Santa Rosa sound. There was plenty of room for families to social distance, but still enjoy a much needed getaway. We will rent again!

Individual condo was well maintained. Kitchen adequately supplied. Good starter supply of laundry and dishwasher detergent. A few small minor issues with remotes, lamps and ceiling fan not working. Would definitely recommend.
