Very helpful welcoming staff, rooms were very clean and tidy in a western style. Quiet location, excellent breakfast and easy to organise transport with the staff.

ein sehr engagiertes Team, super freundlich, wird alles frisch zubereitet. Wir konnten soviel Essen wie wir wollten. Es wurde sich um uns mega gekümmert. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut ausgestattet, insbesondere das schnelle Internet hatten uns sehr gut geholfen in den nächsten Ort zu kommen. ein fantastischer Aufenthalt.

Skyltningen till boendet. Svårt att hitta. Pynt o design verkar prio. Stor skärm med smörsångare står ständigt på.

Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd! Warm ontvangst, mooi interieur, ruime kamers en hele fijne bedden. Het personeel is echt fantastisch, we kwamen niets tekort en het voelde zelfs een beetje als thuis. En als laatste, het eten! Heb niet eerder in Sri Lanka zo lekker gegeten als hier. Nogmaals enorm bedankt!

Wir blieben für eine Nacht. Das Personal war aussergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Essen (Abendessen/ Frühstück) war super lecker. Die Mahlzeiten wurden durch alle Hotelgäste an einem grossen Tisch eingenommen, so entstanden sehr spannende Gespräche. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Overall a very positive experience. Outstanding was the care and service of the staff - really impressed! Shower was nice as well: good pressure and warm water 💦

Standard a sausage on everyone's breakfast is old-fashioned. A lot of meat is wasted like this. Please just ask people explicitly if they want a breakfast sausage with their breakfast (because maaany people don't want this...and let's take care of our planet)

Alles op hoog niveau. De kamer, de badkamer, het beddengoed, de handdoeken. Supervriendelijk personeel. Je loopt makkelijk het centrum in via het Victoria park.

Very nice place with great hospitality. Amazing staff and breakfast! I was feeling a bit under the weather and they made sure I had everything I needed. Great hot shower in the bathroom and our room had a beautiful view, good blankets and a heater. Very friendly manager with lots of tips on what to do around Nuwara Eliya. Thank you!

Duschen fungerade inte så bra, det var antingen super kallt eller super varmt.

Such a well maintained and beautiful space! From the entrance, to the Christmas tree, to the outside garden and into the room - it’s a perfect blend of comfort and cozy. The staff is super helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable

The room is quite compact and without opening the door to the balcony (which can sometimes cause insects to come in) there is no ventilation. But it is very manageable ! We loved it :)

Todo! La bienvenida fue como entrar en tu hogar. Te reciben en el hall con un sofá comodisimo y una bebida y bizcocho riquísimo. Te aconsejan qué hacer en los alrededores y donde poder comer. La habitación es grande, con un calentador eléctrico que es una gozada. El baño grande y una ducha perfecta. Cenamos en el hotel y nos dejaron esperando a que nos preparasen la cena en el sofá viendo netflix con una manta. Parecía que estábamos en casa. La cena de 10! Y el desayuno también! La distancia al pueblo es de 10 minutos andando, muy cerquita. Desde luego que si volvemos repetiremos.

If we could give this place more than 10/10 we would. Incredible homey vibes, with staff who greet you like family. The staff, especially Malinda, went out of their way to make your stay comfortable - for example, cleaning our muddy shoes (without us asking) and cooking incredible meals. You have to try their homemade Sri Lankan dinners - you won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much!!!!

Warm arrival with a hot or cold drink, great atmosphere created by amazing staff. Breakfast was beautiful, if you get a chance eat your dinner at the accommodation, it was our best meal of the trip. Wish we stayed longer.

There was nothing we didn't like.

A wonderful new cozy hotel with excellent European service. The guys met hospitably, packed breakfast for the road, told where we can have a delicious dinner (despite the fact that dinner could be ordered at the hotel). Very warm and pleasant impressions of the stay, we will be happy to return back. Even the coffee (surprisingly) was delicious.

It would be nice to think of good weather for the guests for the period of stay :)))))

Alles Top. Zimmer sehr sauber mit tollem Blick über Nuwara Eliya und auf den höchsten Berg des Landes. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastfreundschaft vom Personal und die liebevolle Art und Weise. Frühstück super. On Top haben wir noch tolle Tipps für unsere weitere Reise erhalten die sich wirklich gelohnt haben auf dem Weg nach Kandy.

Excellenter service, sehr hilfsbereit. Toller Empfang mit Kaffee/Tee und Kuchen. Sehr viel Personal für wenig Gäste. Zimmer im Hauptgebäude oben war sehr groß, auch das Bad ist sehr schön. Viele lokale Attraktionen kann man gut zu Fuß erreichen. Preis/Leistung grandios, konnten eine Nacht länger zu noch besseren Konditionen bleiben.

Na de gastvrije ontvangst kregen wij de mogelijkheid om ipv de 'gewone' kamer de vrijstaande Cabana te boeken. Deze Cabana is een superdeluxe twee verdiepingen appartement met een mooie slaapkamer en badkamer van Spa-kwaliteit. Precies waar we op dat moment behoefte aan hadden. De vriendelijkheid van de medewerkers, het aangeboden diner en het ontbijt waren buitengewoon! Als je in Nuwara Eliya bent....doe een high tea bij het Grand Hotel.....ipv de lunch.

De 'oprijlaan' is voor gewone auto's niet te doen. In de huiskamer hing een bijzonder luchtje...mottenballen?

Diese Unterkunft können wir sehr empfehlen! Der Besitzer ist mehr als zuvorkommend. Wenn man möchte kann man sogar einen Film bei Netflix schauen, was wir nicht wollten :) Das Essen ist sehr lecker und schön hergerichtet! Wir wurden sehr umsorgt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Aufgrund der Feuchtigkeit war es nicht möglich unsere Kleidung zu waschen. Aber grundsätzlich ist es dort möglich.

We stayed just one night and the weather was not on our side, it poured rain the whole time. That’s why we spent a lot of time in the hotel and it was a great experience. If you are tired from a long trip as we were, the Edgeware is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. The room is comfortable and clean, just as the bed and the bathroom with a big shower. The breakfast was tasty and varied. We had dinner there and the staff was so kind to even prepare a cute surprise for my birthday. Everyone was kind and attentive.
