Very nice upscale large home in a great property. Everything met or exceeded expectations. Highly recommended.

The pictures don’t do this home justice! It truly is a beautiful home with TONS of space. It was very clean upon arrival. The home is also very well stocked. Anything you could possibly need to cook in the kitchen, and plenty of plates/bowls/cutlery, etc. An abundance of towels in the bathrooms, and a handful of laundry detergent, dish detergent, trash bags, etc to get you started. We didn’t explore a ton of the property as we were there in November and it was cold! But it’s very impressive!! The sunsets over the pond were absolutely beautiful! The games in the basement kept our kids of all ages busy for hours. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again!

My companies marketing department stayed here for two nights to be together and meet during the day and night. We wanted somewhere comfortable and this house was it! It was so nice for everyone to have their own space but then be together when we needed to for meetings. The hot tub was a plus for evenings and the outside space for hiking and just a nice afternoon walk was great. The absolute only downfall to this great property was it had a fun fire pit area but it didn't provide any firewood so we couldn't partake in this at night.

Clean and comfortable. Lots of room. We used the pool, pond and hot tub every day, as well as the trails and extensive game room. The hosts went above and beyond to meet our needs. Tour of the Barn "event venue" and property was a highlight of our stay.

Lots of things to do. Our four days flew by. Maintenance man was friendly, helpful, kind, & bent over backwards to help us find things or provide what we couldn't find. Thanks so much!

This house was perfect for me and my HS girlfriend to get together and spend a few days together. We enjoyed the pool, hot tube, property and all the space. Excited to doing it again.

Wonderful property

We were a group of 10 women, and this house was wonderful and provided everything we needed. The house sits on a beautiful piece of property, and with the snow, the landscape was spectacular. This is a perfect vacation spot no matter what time of the year. We will be back.

We spent a week during the holidays with extended family at this property and it was so great! From scavenger hunts, to in home wine tastings and massages, to long walks on the property, there was something for all ages. We had 6 children under the age of 7 and they were always busy doing something and always entertained. This place is a must.

We have stayed in several vacation rental homes over the past 5 years and without a doubt, Audrey Fairchild is the most gracious host of all! What better way than to start your vacation then with a welcoming note from Audrey, along with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and perfectly matched wine for our steak dinner. What we enjoyed most was not just how spacious the home is inside. But also the fact that we didn’t have to leave the farm to enjoy nature. Not only are there several trails on the farm, but what a delightful way to spend the afternoon then on a family on a scavenger hunt. Because of the meticulously landscaped drive, even a stroll down the drive way was peaceful! The walk or drive to barn is worth the trip. Although we did not use the barn, we enjoyed reading about the history and got some great family photos while visiting. A delightful surprise was the wildflowers…yes another beautiful photo op! When it was time to check out, our grandsons did not want to leave. Thank you so much for you hospitality and a perfect retreat!

First of all, what you see in the pictures will be exactly what you will experience! We had 3 great days on this “1885 Farms” property and our family group of 16 had an absolute blast! Many memories were made from hanging out at the pool and hot tub to going down to the nearby pond for a paddle boat or kayak ride. Note: we also brought 2 stand up paddle boards and the pond was perfect for these as well! The outdoor kitchen was a popular spot as well with the top notch grill setup and the 55” TV allowed us to view all the college football games without missing a beat of the outdoor fun! The basement is complete with all the fun things for kids of all ages and the sauna and work out room even saw some action! A highlight was the scavenger hunt setup throughout the property- we all loved the time spent searching for the next clue but getting to view this beautiful property first hand! Audrey and Matt were A1 hosts…always quick with an answer to our questions through the entire process and the bottle of wine upon our arrival was a super nice touch! I surprised my wife with a trip here for her birthday. I saw this property on an article that described the most luxurious Vrbo in each state. It lived up to it’s reputation! It was such a cool and unique place to spend time. The house is awesome. Tons of bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bath and shower were incredible! Very luxurious indeed. The basement with ping pong, skee ball, and sauna were great! The hot tub was such an awesome way to end each night, and you could see so many stars while we we were in the hot tub. The movie room is super cool. And the kitchen is top notch! We loved the interior grill/range, and cooked pretty much every meal during our stay. But I have to stay the best part of our stay was Audrey and Matt. They were great with communication both before and during our stay. They had just set up a scavenger hunt on their property, and it was so much fun! We were excited to be one of the first guests to experience it. I had mentioned we were coming out to celebrate my wife’s birthday when I made the reservation, and Audrey and Matt had a super cool gift basket for her when we arrived! There were all kinds of really cool gifts in there. My wife was thrilled, and it was much appreciated! Later in the stay we were able to spend some time talking with Audrey about the history of the property and the barn, so that was really cool. Overall it was an amazing stay! We can’t wait to come back!!

Every July, we rent a different home with VRBO for our 3-generation family vacation. This one is #1 overall. The grounds are beautiful and the house is clean, comfortable and welcoming. Our grandkids (ages 6–16) loved the pool (it was clean & maintained), basement games, movie room and fishing in the pond. We cooked every day —the kitchen is awesome — and there’s plenty of tables & chairs for 13 people to “dine in”. We appreciated the helpful notes and signs for lights, doors, etc. Audrey is a gracious host and available for anything we needed. All in all, we loved the “Barn” house!

This property was everything you could want and more. Driving through the front gate I was amazed at the amount of beautiful land that was available. For a group of 11, we had more than enough room to enjoy alone time and each others company. The house came equipped with everything we could possibly need. The owner was very responsive and helpful and they even left a bottle of wine for our group. Cannot wait to visit again in the summer!

The property is amazing. The kitchen was well equipped. The house itself was very clean spacious and inviting. The children had plenty of activities and games available, and the outdoor playground was a hit. We will definitely return for another stay.

This is a great property that is well managed. Secluded and picturesque are well represented. Fresh cut flowers from the flower field and a bottle of wine upon arrival was a nice touch. Spacious home with great views. Many fun things to enjoy inside and outside the home. Top notch amenities giving one a sense of being at a resort. Every question I had prior to arrival and during our stay was answered promptly. Will be back here for sure.

A beautiful farm house with beautiful landscape and this house offers everything. Swimming pool, hut tub, jacuzzi etc. The hospitality is great and all our requests are taken care of within minutes. We made some great memories in our 2 day stay.

Terrific experience staying with 3 generations of family with no reason to leave the property! The house has great space, plenty of rooms and things to do, a great pool/hot tub, and well stocked pond. Hosts were very responsive, and put in plenty of thoughtful touches throughout the property. Would definitely stay again!

During this time it has been really hard being stuck in the house. This was the perfect getaway for my family. The adults and kids really enjoyed everything. From the hot tub, game room and adventures down by the water. Definitely would recommend this location and will definitely be returning!

Very clean and well maintained home. From the game room, hot tub, and pond there was plenty to keep you busy! The house was very cozy for how large it was. Laid out very well and stocked with everything you need.

I rented this house for a weekend getaway with my wife. We were celebrating her birthday and I thought I would treat her to a weekend with no kids and a house of her dreams. Needless to say, she fell in love with this property. This house is VERY large and the bedrooms just keep going. The master suite is really something to behold. My wife said “you could fit a football team in that shower!” The kitchen is very nice. We cooked several meals and it was a real joy. We can’t wait to come back in the summer sometime when the pool is open. The property is beautiful. We live only a few miles away, and drive past this property at least three times per week, but the property is secluded enough that I have never k own it was there! Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you stay here!
