This house is just darling! Spotless and great location! The only issue we encountered was with the AC unit. We thought it wasn’t working right as it was 82 in the house when we checked in at 4 pm. However it did start cooling down! But when we would leave and come back it was hot in the house again. The only explanation I could come up with is they are controlling the T/Stat which is a Nest Stat. That’s not cool if that’s what was happening! I like to control the t/Stat myself. Not saving money as it take a long time to cool it back down to a nice temp. Other than that, it’s awesome.

We stay at Camp Warneke every summer when we visit New Braunfels. This condo is in an excellent location with the back patio facing the Comal. It’s a first floor unit so there are no stairs inside the front door like some have. The front door is literally right in front of the assigned parking space. It’s very close to the river exit. The layout was perfect for our group. It was clean and had everything we needed. Some of the instructions need to be reviewed and updated as there are inconsistencies. For example, there’s a note on the fridge, a note above the thermostat, and a note you get at check-in that give three different instructions about the thermostat. Also, the directions displayed for the master bedroom TV remote didn’t work. Minor items that didn’t affect our stay.Regarding check-in, I went to the office during regular hours as instructed. The person who answered the door looked surprised and a little annoyed that I rang the bell. She said my info had been placed in a lockbox outside and that she had texted me the code. When I looked at my phone to check my texts and showed her I had not received it, she took my phone and started scrolling through my texts to confirm I was telling the truth. While I consider this to be unprofessional conduct, it is not a reflection of this particular unit. I highly recommend this condo.

The location is really great! This condo was clean and comfortable. The living area is small which made it difficult to hangout as a large family, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy. The kitchen was well equipped. Noise from upstairs was a bit loud.

We had a blast at our condo on the comal. Tubing, fishing and Schlitterbahn kept us busy during the day. We cooked and hung out in the condo at night. Location was superb. We spent four days at the condo and wish we had booked seven.

Had a very fun time! The place was clean and everything was straight forward and easy. The top bunk of the loft bed was an uncomfortable air mattress, but the other beds were quite comfy. Overall we were more than satisfied with our stay. Would recommend trying out the Scruples game there. The cards are very dated and hilarious.

Upstairs people were loud until very late playing music inside their unit and walking very hard. We did not want to call security thinking we might make enemies for the two days we were there
The beds are firm so we did bring a foam to put on ours it was ok then. We knew this because we read all the reviews.

We weren’t able to get the pool code to work but someone swimming let us in.

Need to update the place and change out all the light bulbs to soft white
As soon as we turned on the lights in the property, we were turned off by the the place. The ambiance of the property felt like a warehouse. We had to buy some new bulbs and replaced the lights we plan to use.
Please change out all the bright white light bulbs and put in soft white bulbs. You can still save energy by using energy efficient LED bulbs and make the place look more comfortable. The place should be updated for newer amenities. Better furniture, chairs, beds and kitchen gadgets. We paid too much for the place and felt we didn't get our money's worth. The only thing we liked about the place is the convenience it provided to exit the river.

Girls trip 2021
Pros: Across from Shliterbaugh. Great location. Nice pool. Clean ground floor Condo with view of river and deer. You can walk across the street to access the river for a 20 minute quick float back to the condo.
Cons: Very firm/hard mattresses, Hot tub had no light and no step and very loose handle causing a minor ankle injury.
Over all this is a very nice and clean condo in a great location. I would stay here again.

The view and outside was great but the home dryer did not work the can opener did not work. It was messy in the kitchen. The knives were not sharp. The kitchen really needs to be cleaned out simplified and replaced with new stuff. The dryer took four times to dry.

This is a very comfortable, clean first floor condo directly on the Comal River. It had everything we needed for our month long stay. The view of the river from the master bedroom and living room is amazing. It was very easy to hop in the river or swim in the nice pool. It has close, convenient covered parking at the front door which would accommodate those with disabilities easily. It’s also directly across the street from Schlitterbahn. I loved everything about our stay here.

Our unit was great! Very nice, spacious and clean. My only suggestion would be to bring your own pans if you would like to cook eggs, brown meat, etc. The pans were not easy to cook in and very hard to clean, even after using a cooking spray and soaking in soap and warm water for several hours. Other than that, it was perfect. Great location and easy river access!

The location was phenomenal and the unit was very clean and cute. We really had no issues, exept the queen beds were not very comfortable in the two queen rooms. But that was the only negative, and it was a small one. Everything else was picture perfect!
If you are planning on cooking there, you will need to bring even the most basic seasonings like salt and pepper. I am sure this is due to the current pandemic, but we didn't think about needing those things when we grocery shopped. And you might want to pick up some toilet paper at the store too, the 2 rolls provided per bathroom are very rough single ply and they didn't last very long with our family.

Lon Weekend Getaway
Our family of 7 (6 adults and one child) had a wonderful stay at the property. The location was perfect for riding the Comal several times in a row. We saw deer in the backyard everyday which was a treat!
