Should not say two bedrooms. Older people like us could not climb up in that little space. Thank god there was a slide out couch. All around it was good.

Beautiful beaches!!!

Beautiful location. Quick drive to the beach. Nice paddling from the houseboat. The cove is calm so the boat did not rock. Very comfortable! Nice linens and towels. All the items you need in the kitchen even though no stove top. Houseboats are not for everyone, but I would defn go again!

Looked like the bare minimum of cleaning was done. All the linens were clean, but it was dusty, and the toilet didn't work right the whole time. The owners were very informative and sweet. I would definitely stay there again. It was just out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to travel to the places we wanted to go to within just a few minutes.

Paula is great and very accommodating. Location is perfect to be close to everything yet away from the crazy Destin traffic!

Sadly the listed photos do not portray the actual condition of the houseboat. Upon entering we walked thru cobwebs the first few steps inside. Food crumbs on the futon sofa, and on the dining table as well as underneath the table. Sign on bathroom wall that states toilet paper cannot be put into the marine toilet. The washer/dryer unit was out of order. Cable TV currently turned off. Mini air unit running with bucket behind it to catch dripping water. Water was pooled in the floor beside it along with dirt and other debris that had not been cleaned up. A lot of dust and lint on top of main air unit causing it to go into an error code regularly. Blinds torn up, moldings hanging off the wall along with other damages. Strong odor from marine toilet. Fortunately there was a small vacuum and mop so we were able to clean it before we decided to stay. The hosts were out of town at their sons wedding the first couple of days so we didn’t want to bother them with our dissatisfaction. The houseboat needs repairs and a thorough deep cleaning.

Our stay was excellent. Quiet area and the boat was so peaceful. Stocked with literally everything you need for cooking, getting in the water, or going to the beach. We would love to come back soon! 💙

We stayed for a few days to avoid the snow back home. We had not stayed on a boat before this trip. We had a great time. Boat had all the things you would have at a condo. We ate out all meals and the restaurant options were all close. Hosts were super easy To book with. Thanks.

Great property! Great hosts! My husband and I snuck away from real life for a few days and took this fun adventure, staying on a houseboat! We loved it. The houseboat itself is located out behind Paula and Phil's home, tied to their dock. They have a pontoon boat there as well and we were able to rent that for an afternoon outing into the bay. The accommodations were as we expected them to be based on the information provided to us. A couple of things to be aware of... the walkway down to the boat dock is steep. It's beautiful and super clean, but for anyone struggling with failing knees or being too out of shape, the walk may be difficult for you. The only other issue we faced was with the odor from the "marine toilet" on board the houseboat. We weren't sure if it was chemical or mechanical but it was enough to notice for sure. Other than that... set sail on this adventure with Paula and Phil and you'll love every second of it!!!

We enjoyed staying on the houseboat. The bathroom wasn't our favorite but the bed was comfortable and the upper deck sunny and relaxing. My husband fished off the dock every morning and caught 8 different types of fish plus a sting ray and a small turtle. We really enjoyed ourselves and the property owners are nice and friendly!

This property is exactly what I expected. We loved the convenience of having our boat docked next to the houseboat. The location is great, quick boat ride to Destin. The owners were friendly. Paul even rode with us to dock the boat and drove the truck back to the property. We're already talking about booking a longer trip next year.

Fun adventure on the water near everything you need for a beachy getaway

Exactly what we wanted. A place for me to relax and recharge and a place for my husband to scuba not faraway then sightseeing and fine dining in the late afternoon and evening.

It was peaceful. Location was away from all the main traffic but good location to area. We felt very safe and enjoyed our stay. We would stay again.

Houseboat is cozy and had everything you need to have a great vacation.. If you just want to relax you can fish, kayak, paddle board, there's a fire pit and outside grill. There's also chairs and a porch swing for outdoor chillin'. Two decks for sunning or just relaxing.. Very close to restaurants, stores and yes even close to the dreaded Walmart and grocery stores.. Paula and Phil are awesome people and treated us a 20 on a 1-10 scale.. Will definitely be staying there again. They even took us out on their personal boat to watch Dolphins. Highly recommend.

This is our favorite close to home getaway. Love the kayaks, paddle boards, Lilly pad, slide and fishing. They have a new fire pit with tiki torches. Perfect for roasting marshmallows. We launch our skis and park them right at the house boat. Would def Recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway or a fun filled time in the sun.

A lot of fun for a little something out of the ordinary. Hosts were really nice and helpful with information. Peaceful, beautiful view with your morning coffee. Close to all the beaches and restaurants.

Paula and her husband were great hosts. The boat comes equipped with everything you need and the owners are as helpful and friendly as they come. I’d highly recommend staying here!
