We stayed over Christmas! Was a 5 minute trip to the in laws. Beautifully updated home with a ton of character. Very clean! All the necessities included.... would definitely stay again!

Two couples enjoyed the ample room
In this super clean and functional home. The grill and amazingly large back yard made an enjoyable spot for outdoor dinner on the patio. Many lounge areas inside and out. Walk to downtown.

Stayed here for a bike race. Perfect house with 3 bedrooms spread out. Lovely yard. Great location. Cruisers were a plus for easy getting around.

Paired Ladybug and Atchee (next door) for our 8 person Mountain bike group and had a great stay. Nicely refurbished houses, well appointed, and easy 1/2 mile walk to the downtown shops, bars, restaurants.

We were there from Iowa to ride the Co2Ut gravel ride. The house reminded me of my house growing up. Loved the feel of wood floors and older house feel. My group enjoyed the huge back yard.

We loved spending a long weekend in this house. It was adorable, clean, and a great location. We’ve already talked about planning another trip to fruita and staying here. Definitely recommend staying and working with host!

Nicely appointed house with room for our family of 5 adults. Right in the heart of Fruita, the lush, shaded back yard was a great retreat after a day of mountain biking, road biking, hiking, or kayaking. Great kitchen and dining area for meals in. Great patio and grill for meals outside. Walkable to everything in Fruita! Beds and baths all crisp, clean and comfy. Bike shed held our seven bikes plus the two provided with the house. Can’t say enough about the house *and* the great communication and responsiveness of the owners.

We loved it!
the house was just perfect. We enjoyed hanging out and cooking in the kitchen and relaxing in the family room. There were plenty of beds, and a nice big backyard for our dog. The area was quiet and close to town. We drove through Colorado Monument park on a snowy day, which was beautiful. We would return to this vrbo. thanks!

Lovely home in Fruita
We absolutely loved this house - thank you for being dog-friendly, and the large fenced yard with plenty of seating was perfect for a Covid-safe family gathering. We would love to stay here again!

We love the house and the neighborhood. The place was clean with spacious living space
We loved this rental property. It was just like being home away from home. The bedrooms, kitchen, backyard and front porche were all you could ask for for our stay. Plenty of trail around Fruita to walk with my dog that appreciate the large backyard. Easy check in and out. Close to Palisade where we spent time at the Peach Festival, farmer market, and wine tasting at a couple of wineries. Definitely will book again!

Cute house with great yard
Friends with babies met up to play in Fruita, really cute house walking distance to the Main Street for grocery, restaurant, T-Rex, etc. The mud room with utility sink was great for biking gear and kid messes!

Great location and wonderful family place
This historic house was very clean and updated. Super close to trails and town. Easy access to local hikes and bikes. Host was very quick to respond and answer any questions.

Great Getaway in Troubled Times.
We loved this little house and appreciated the cleanliness during this Covid Epidemic. The owners thought of everything to make our visit comfortable. Too bad we could not enjoy the lovely back yard because of the terrible fire burning and everything covered with ash.. The only complaint was the last morning, no hot water upstairs or downstairs for showers. We called but got no response, so we left without showering.

Great location
This is the 2nd house we've rented from Mike and Karen. We have family that lives in fruita so we come often. The house looked small but was large enough for us. Great location within walking distance of downtown Fruita. My only complaint would be that the coffee filters provided were for a 1 to 4 cup pot, not the 10 to 12 cup coffee pot provided. Other than that we would stay there again.

Awesome location and layout in the heart of Fruita. Clean, cute and perfect for a family of six.
Everything you could ask for in a rental property. We enjoyed the large backyard, fire pit and BBQ. Comfortable beds, spacious and perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing place in Fruita.

Cozy clean house close to town
We LOVED this house. We have a lot of family in the area and it was nice to have a place to ourselves but still be able to host. The back and front yard are so beautiful and the house is very clean and well stocked. I was able to cook many large meals with the equipment provided. I love that is is updated but kept a lot of its original charm that so many Fruita houses were originally built with. It reminded me of being at my grandmas house when I was a kid. It is so close to all of the restaurants and we loved walking and riding our bikes around. We will definitely be back!
