I love the place. Have stayed there more than once and will again. It's cute and close to the water.

The furnishings, appliances, beach access, beach accessories, and outdoor game area were all nice, helpful, and enjoyable. Keypad to access the property was not working and property management service was polite but not helpful. Due to broken pad we did not get in until 3 hrs after we arrived and late check out was refused despite it. The property manager was aware of it being broken per previous property review on same issue. Know that if you choose this property and have issues, you’ll have to wait a while for a response. It is by a busy highway with a lot of emergency vehicle noise.

The house was great. Spacious and clean and within 3 minutes walk to the beach. There were only four of us, but the house could easily accommodate more people comfortably. My only real gripe was the keyless entry access. Upon arrival, the code to access the house didn’t work. After contacting Vacasa I was given another code. And, a third. And, a fourth. Clearly, the issue was with the lock mechanism and not the code. I was finally able to reach a rep with Vacasa. After further frustration and another 45 minutes she was able to get the code for one of two lockboxes on the property and I was able to use a physical key to enter the property. There were two lockboxes located on the property and the code only unlocked one of the boxes in which there was no key. During this process it didn’t help that my intelligence was insulted, as if a college educated adult does understand how to punch numbers on a keypad. Fortunately, I was finally given a code to the second lockbox where the key was located. This took about an hour, which was after a four hour drive to get to the property. The second key was located on a hook just inside the door. I would recommend simplifying this process for future guests. We were on the verge of leaving when the rep called with the correct code. Needless to say this was not the best start to our stay.

The house itself is a great house. Great location across the street from the beach with easy access. Some great restaurants between the house and town which is about a 20 minute drive. This house allows pets so it should have better cleaning service to eliminate hair. Biggest issue we encountered and what lowered our rating was the number of bugs and the poor response from the management company.

Check in was great.. communication was excellent, property was beautiful.. a little far from the sea wall and the street blocked out the sounds of the beach but overall it was an enjoyable lil getaway

This was a beautiful home! The home was well maintained/very clean, comfortable beds, and easy access to the beach.

The property is very nice especially the gas fireplace. There was leak in the ceiling next to laundry room so I hope it gets repaired before next visitor. The kitchen is easy to work in but needs a few items like serving spoons. Also bedrooms and bathrooms need hooks for robes and coats. You have to place coats on back of chairs or on the floor. These simply items would be so helpful.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the house!!! It had everything we needed plus more! I wish we would have stopped by the house first before going to the store. We purchased items we didn’t need. The house already had it. We had enough space for everyone. The only thing I will tell the next guests, this house two sets of bunk beds, queen sofa bed, queen bed and a king bed. The pictures only showed one bunk bed. I don’t recall reading about the sofa bed. I want to thank the owners!! Your house was perfect ‼️

My husband and I rented this property to attend the Lone Star Rally, but after the kids and grands came down we were having such a great time with just family that we ended up riding our bikes to the rally on the last day which was Sunday. The property was clean, well kept, spacious, reasonably priced and easy to reach. We will definitely book this home again in the future.

The top balcony was my morning coffee spot. It’s small, just enough room for two people. The area is quite. You’re far from town. The house was clean but not 5 star clean. We’d stay here again.

Great comfortable home. Beds are big and comfortable. Lots of extra beach towels!! New fireplace in living area was a surprise! Kitchen had everything we needed besides baking dishes, which we brought. Both porches had nice new chairs and great views. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is a very modern beach house with a kitchen that is full of cooking supplies. The home is located near the beach with easy access.

We loved it! Will be back! So brand new, it does not exist on Google Earth. All modern & clean & decorated/furnished beautifully. Full kitchen & grill. Agency pics do not do it justice. Agency does not respond to messages so call.

Easy and quick process

We loved this home as soon as we drove in here. We appreciated that it was well stocked with extra towels, pillows, blankets and kitchen utensils. Absolutely enjoyed the ocean views from the 2nd and 3rd floor balcony. Suggestions for improvement - need a floor and hand vaccum - need a floor mop with cleaning supplies - a directory of restaurants and takeouts would be helpful.

The rental was incredibly well-kept. Very clean, especially for a place that is pet-friendly. It was our first time to a Texas beach - we typically go to Orange Beach, AL or Santa Rosa Beach, FL. It’s definitely a different beach experience, but I honestly didn’t mind too much. The reason for the three stars overall is because of the VERY busy and loud street between the house and the ocean. I can blame this partly on myself for not researching better, but in my opinion one of the best things about going to the beach is sitting on the balcony and listening to the ocean…which was very hard at this rental. Also the master bedroom is VERY bright in the mornings but the master bed was super comfy. All-in-all it was a lovely home, but the road noise messed it up for us.

From the time we pulled into the driveway we knew that we were going to love this place. It was very well kept and everything was provided that you would need. If there was a negative it would be that it needs an elevator or something for a person that needs handicap access. But other than that the View and House was Beautiful

We really enjoyed staying in this house. It was one of the more well-stocked and comfortable places in which we have stayed over the years. The labels on light switches were helpful, and we were happy to find a few beach toys to use. We ran out of propane but the property manager responded by delivering a brand new tank within an hour of our request. The road noise is really the only drawback - drowned out the ocean sounds!

There is a great view of the gulf from the ground level, a better view from the deck on the second level, and an amazing view from the third level. It only gets better from there. The next day, I had my morning cup of coffee while sitting on the deck. The sunrise was breathtaking.We had planned to rent a golf cart but the beach was right there. The beach access location was about a city block away from the house, across the street and a few yards down; less than a 5-minute walk. Morning and sunset strolls on the beach are incredible, whether looking for seashells or enjoying the gulf view.One night we all sat on the deck and talked. The temperature was comfortable, there was a nice breeze and the sound of the rolling waves in the background was so relaxing we lost track of time. Before we knew it, it was about 2:30 in the morning.I was concerned initially because before our trip, I went back to the VACASA website to review the amenities. I read a very negative review. I have never commented on a review, but if I had not already booked, I might have looked for another place. All the appliances we used worked perfectly, and I can only guess that the person did not read the instructions on the popcorn saying, “Do not use the popcorn setting on your microwave”. I used the popcorn that was there, following directions listed, and it popped perfectly. In short, we did not find anything the person complained about to be accurate. This is a dream house and we had an incredible time. We will be booking at this beach house again.

Good location. We could have walked to the beach, but opted to make the very short drive to the parking lot directly south and then walk from there. The beach in the area was pretty nice. I asked about items that the house had, so I would know what to bring. I did not get the best answers. I was worried about the coffee maker (Keurig or drip???), turns out the coffee maker was a very nice Keurig and Drip combo ... I wish I had known that in advance (I brought my Keurig with me :) )Anyway, I enjoyed my morning coffees from the deck watching and listening to the sea in the distance. The road noise we a bit much at times. But I minded less than some of my house mates.

This home is new and very clean which is not always the case for beach rentals in Galveston. You can see the beach as well which makes for a very nice view. It is quite noisy being located on the main road but you cannot really complain because you know the location when you chose to rent the home. However, shortly after we arrived I tried to wash a load of clothes and when I opened the washing machine water came crashing out soaking me and all our belongings we had stacked up in the pantry where the washing machine is located. When I tried to pop popcorn for my son the microwave would not heat. I called VACASA and they said they would try to get a repair person out ASAP. The next day a VACASA representative called to say the owner was having the repairs done through their home warranty company and she did not know when the appliances would be repaired. The representative was apologetic and said she would see if we would be compensated for our lose of amenities (we have not been compensated at this point and honestly I just wanted working appliances not any type of refund). The following day the home warranty repair person arrived not to fix the washing machine or microwave but the oven which was apparently broken as well (we had not used it so we did not realize)! So the owner knew the oven was broken and had renters scheduled and gave us no notice of this fact before our arrival. The repair person said the microwave and washing machine were not on his work order so he could not fix the appliances. A week at the beach without being able to wash clothes or towels was pretty rough and you realize how much you use a microwave when you do not have access to one! We have rented for years in Galveston and this is the only negative review I have ever written. It was a very disappointing experience. I am sure the appliances will eventually be repaired but beware if you chose to rent this home and something goes wrong you are on your own!
