Very nice property with great host

We loved The Back 40 home in Bryan! It was clean, well stocked and the host thought of every detail.

Great place to stay with a fabulous coffee bar and nice outdoor hangout area! Would definitely stay here again.

The property was in a great location and was like a cozy home away from home. It was perfect for our family of 4 while in town for our sons baseball camp.

Each year we pick a different city in Texas for a vacation with cousins. This year it was in Bryan/College Station. We were very pleased with our choice, The Back Forty. It was clean, comfortable, had a nice backyard, plenty of games and entertainment and overall had everything we needed. The Hosts made this place a welcoming home for us to spend a few days away from our own busy lives. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

This house was perfect! The house itself was cozy and comfortable. It has a plethora of toys for children to play with and great games for the adults also. The backyard is beautiful and, although we have family in Cstat, everyone gathered for family meals with us! They loved sitting outside, watching the children play and visiting. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

House was very nice and had everything we needed for the stay. The ping pong and shuffle board was a big hit. Seems like there was a tournament every night. Outside area was very nice to just sit back and relax. Overall was a great place to stay and would stay here again.

We enjoyed this sweet little house for our stay in Aggieland and daughters TAMU graduation. It was comfortable, nicely decorated and has a very pretty back yard that was peaceful to sit out and be with family. The garage is full of games which we enjoyed and the kitchen had everything we needed including a nice coffee bar. We were comfortable and enjoyed our family and the graduation events with no worries and no stress. Minutes from campus and the west side of town.

This property was just great for our family… beds were so comfy… house is so cute… BEST part was the wonderful back yard… we had some good conversations and fun back there‼️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while visiting our student at A&M. The property owner has thought of everything you might need during your stay. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking at home and there is also an outdoor grill. There are puzzles, game boards, ping pong, etc. The back yard is lovely with a fire pit and covered eating area plus lots of birds to watch and listen to with morning coffee. We brought our dog who also enjoyed the fenced backyard. The location is very convenient to campus and in a quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect, peaceful place to stay while visiting A&M.

Nice place close to TAMU. Well stocked in case you forgot anything and the backyard was great! Enjoyed it!

My family and I love to cook and play games and this place was just ideal. The kitchen is fully equipped for any dinner party and the backyard was nice for my two dogs.

We have a freshman that started A&M this fall and needed a place to stay for NSC/move in. This house was perfect in every way! SO much thought has been put into the details in the house. I cannot say enough good things!

The property was perfect and the neighborhood was beautiful. The owners think of everything to make your stay one to remember. From the welcome snacks, coffee, to the little items you may have forgot at home. Communication with the owner during our stay was informative and responsive. We will be back again.

This property is perfect and the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s even better in person. There’s absolutely everything you need. The beds were comfortable. They even provided robes! The backyard was our favorite place to hangout and sip coffee from the adorable coffee station. Jean Marie was always quick to respond with any questions. I highly recommend the home!

What a cute house. Completely updated and decorated very comfortably and professionally. Check in and check out we’re a breeze and the owner was available for anything at anytime, although we didn’t need it. Everything was great! Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great home and location for a family trip to A&M. There were 4 adults (2 were grandparents in their late 60's) and 6 kids (4 teenagers and 2 younger) With 10 of us, we definitely maxed out the sleeping options. We used every bed, and everyone said they slept very well! We were only there 2 nights, so it worked well- but it might be a bit tight for larger families staying longer, especially if weather forces everyone to be indoors for long periods of time. Tons of games to choose from in the front closet as well as toys for all ages in the bunk bed room. Only a short drive to campus, and close to HEB & Walmart for any food/items we forgot. The garage full of toys/yard items were much appreciated, as our cousins in the area joined us 1 night for pizza and games. We sent all the kids to eat outside in the back yard, while the adults enjoyed the quiet of the house : ). Very short walk down the street to Tanglewood park- we didn't get a chance to try out the splash pad, but the kids enjoyed the rest of the park. The owner was very accommodating, and responded quickly to booking questions before our arrival and checked in with us during our stay. Very nice home and quiet neighborhood, would definitely stay here again!

My family came to town for my Baptism and was able to host a small dinner with some close friends. The house was clean and bright and the outdoor seating was perfect for our get-together. Jean-Marie responds quickly and is a great host. This was our first experience booking a VRBO, but we will definitely stay here again!

Great property with plenty of space, amenities, near a beautiful park (Tanglewood), and close to everything. Jeane Marie/Host communication was easy, responsive, and so friendly. Definitely recommend for anyone with travel needs in or near College Station or Bryan.

We stayed here for a few nights’ getaway with friends (two couples + 3 young kids). We used it as a launching point for a day trip to Waco and activities in the College Station area. The house was a perfect size for us but may have felt a bit tight with a similar sized group of adults if you are planning to spend a lot of time inside. The kids loved the toys, books, and outdoor games. Convenient location, and there is a nice park just down the street that you can see from the house.

The house has a very homey feel, great place to spend a few days visiting our college students. The house has everything you need, very clean, beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the firepit and games. The coffee bar was a hit with everyone!

We look forward to staying here again next time we are in the area. We loved the firepit and backyard, welcome snacks, and all the coffee choices. It was a great place for a weekend away with friends and our pups!

We stayed here with our 3 kids and it was perfect. The kids especially loved the games a d toys. The adults loved the coffee bar. Awesome house in a convenient location!

The property was exactly how it’s pictured and described. BIG backyard which made it very enjoyable for outside games and s’mores. House had everything you need to include linens, pillows, blankets to snuggle and cots. We had 8 overnight guests and all had beds in rooms. We got permission from Jean Marie to host our family Thanksgiving dinner there and while the main room is smaller we all made do with extra folding chairs and tables. I’d stay there again.
