The rooms we rented for 3 nights are 2 out of 3 in a large, stunning country house in a very quiet location. You need a car to get there, but it is worth is. Free of charge on-site parking, no need to book. On the ground floor there is a large living room with a kitchen plus a toilet - these premises are shared by all guests of the house. On the first floor, there are two medium sized rooms with a shared bathroom with a toilet. And in the attic, there is a third room with a separate bathroom and a toilet. The house is clean, beds comfy, location quiet, garden large, wifi speed acceptable for browsing on the internet, sending videos is somewhat slower. The hosts are very friendly, a couple of supermarkets within a few hundreds of metres open until 20h. A 20-25 minutes drive to Lausanne, 95 minutes to Geneva, less than 2 hours to Chamonix/ Mount Blanc.

There is nothing we did NOT like. But, please, bear in mind that if you only book one or two rooms (out of three), there still might be other guests in and around the house. It is not about the availability of bathrooms (there are 2) or toilets (3) in the house, it is about privacy. If you are aware of this and you do not mind it and find the price acceptable, definitely go for it! I have also stayed in apartments with better equipped kitchen (eg. I could not find wine glasses..) and the use of the washing machine is also not included in the price of booking, but I am not fussy and this is not going to lower my rating. 9.6 out of 10 seems to be very accurate, but I can only give 9 or 10, so, for me, it is 10! Thank you very much!

Location in t woods on a creek! Friendly informative hosts!! Huge beamed A-framed ceiling, furnishings n fixtures!!! Outside but close to village shops restaurants deep woods n local chateau!

Laurence is the owner (I think) is so kind, patient and friendly. She waited for me till I arrived at night and made me feel like home. The room was so beautiful and so clean. The bed is very comfortable. I could make tea as there is a luxurious variety of tea, and the whole place is comfy and homy. Thanks a lot Laurence for my unforgettable experience at your chalet. I really hope to come again.
