The room was very comfortable and clean and well kitted out with fridge, kettle and everything you could need. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was amazing. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Could do with some instructions to help find the place as it is quite tucked away. There was no lock on the door of the room. Booking.com failed to communicate that we had booked breakfast the first day but all sorted out with the host for second morning. Shared bathroom (as advertised) but this did not cause any problems for us.

Host was friendly and helpful, room was clean and well presented, tv, kettle, toaster and small fridge in the room, also supplied a fan which was very welcome given my stay was during the hot spell, area was very quiet at night. Proprietor was very helpful in coming out to help me find the carpark and entrance to the property.

Directions to find the property could be better, using the map from the booking.com app takes you to the wrong place, it should say turn right into carpark at bottom of hill and walk up the path between the houses to the property.

Although it did not say I assumed a cooked breakfast it was continental and lots of it, fresh and tasty with lots of choice.

Details about the breakfast could have been told on the booking form. The location is hard to find and in an area that makes you feel uneasy when walking around.

They were amazing from start to finish. Made us feel so at home when we were there. Always made sure we were okay

Describing the breakfast as generous does it a disservice. Although only a continental breakfast, there was enough to feed an army and a nice selection. Lovely to wake up too. Very clean facilities, big comfy bed and room. I was only looking for a bed for the night but it exceeded this. Lovely hosts.

Took a little bit of time to figure out where it was exactly, and its a little out of the way so it takes a while to walk to nearby eateries. However, easy enough with a car and there is plenty of parking in the area

My only criticism would be lack of cutlery in the room - made eating my take away quite difficult.

The location was quite near to the NEC, which was good as we were at Crufts. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, the lovely big bowl of fruit was a bonus. It was nice having a fridge in room. The owner was very accommodating with our dogs. We were made to feel very welcome at her home, which was nice.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the mattress could do with being changed. The lock didn't work on the bathroom door. The toilet seat was very loose. When we arrived we couldn't get into the b&b and had to wait an hour after a very long drive with two dogs, which wasn't ideal. The owner was delayed at hospital after having her teeth seen to, and apologise for her lateness.

Quiet and good value for money. Good communication with host - though never met...
