Great location and nice beach house for family get together. Very well furnished for our enjoyment. House is a little tired for the price but was a great experience and we would go back.

This beach home met our needs. Lovely deck! Please note…there is no outdoor shower! We didn’t notice until we arrived.

The house felt very warm and welcoming and the views of the ocean are amazing. Check-in was so easy it seamed like I must be forgetting to do something. The location is quite but there are several grocery stores, restaurants and downtown activities just a short drive away. I would highly recommend the Kokomo house to any friends or family who are vacationing in the Galveston area.

I rented this property so my whole family could be together for my son's wedding. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely rent again!

My first time in Galveston was an incredibly fortunate introduction. I’m obsessed with the beach (any beach to be fair🤣🙌🏼) and it definitely was a major plus that this chic house sits right on the white sand with a completely unobstructed view of the surf (heaven). I especially loved early morning walks with my dog, a few pelicans and the odd fisherman for company. Naturally I was sad to leave, but intend returning. Thank you.

Host was very responsive. Check in was super easy. This beach area is private and not busy like other areas. Morning coffee on deck was great with nice breeze. The house is stocked with all the little things you would think you need to pack or forget to pack. Very close to a marina restaurant if you don't want to cook. I would just beware (it may have said in the description and I did not see), the master bathroom is not private to the master bedroom and it is in between the bedroom and the bunk room. Wasn't an issue for us since the bunk room was empty, just an fyi.

This beautiful home is even better than the great photos! Perfect location and fabulous views with easy beach access. Best place to stay! Well stocked (lots of towels) and very clean. Owners are very quick to respond to emails and are very accommodating. We hope to come back again and again. I am a five star hotel person and felt very comfortable here. The house has lots of beds and room for everyone....but in our case it was just my husband, myself and our Pomeranian. It was very quiet area. The beach was clean and cars AREN'T allowed on the beach which is a huge plus! I highly recommend.

Loved the house, had everything we needed. Great location and setup. Only gripe is the floors were filthy really needed to have been swept and mopped.

SO MANY TOWELS!!! We’ve rented beach homes and bay-side homes in Galveston for several years now- and have rented from the agencies, and from owners. I love the personal touches and extra amenities with renting from owners. There were so many towels!!! And little things like zip lock bags and tin foil. We always bring a small supply just in case, but it was nice to know they were there in case we needed another zip lock or something. We brought our dog, so brought sheets to cover the sofas in case he jumped on them- and the sofas were really comfy. It was a lovely living room space with the largest TV I’ve ever seen in a home. And the master bed was amazing- so comfortable. The kids loved the bunk room. The beach was a few steps away too - and totally private. We only saw a few other people. The location was quiet and peaceful - which is exactly what we were looking for. One of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in!!

You have everything that is needed….just walk right out to the beach. The only thing that was needed were blinds or window treatments in the main area for privacy at night. It’s a super cute house!

We had a great time during our stay! The sun deck was the best part of the house! The house was clean and easy to use. The owners and manager were great at communicating and made our stay very easy and hassle free. We showed up and started relaxing!

Fun and clean beach house that worked well for our family of 2 small kids, my wife and I, and my parents. Great location right on beach with nice unobstructed view and really clean and quiet beach out front. The house is well cared for and worked nice, but you will want to bring some basic items like cooking oil, dish soap for the sink, extra toilet paper (we ran out of what they supplied on day 3). We did have a real problem checking in since the lockbox they had the key in was jammed shut and the hosts only phone listed went straight to voicemail and then said full mailbox and wouldn't take a message. The VRBO didn't have another number for them either so it was a really lousy way to start our vacation trying to figure out how to get into the house. My father eventually got the lockbox opened with a pair of channel lock pliers he had buried in his car (the previous person had jammed the box so the pliers were able to squeeze it closed until it snapped back into normal position where the buttons worked again). VRBO really needs to have a backup plan in place though for guests who arrive and have no way to access the home, or to get ahold of the owners or a backup key. The hosts eventually called us a couple days later to apologize and say they had lost their phone and hadn't checked their email, but even though they were sincerely apologetic about it, it was still crummy service to not check in or give a backup contact method to guests that have spent thousands of dollars on a vacation.

The Kokomo Beach house was everything and more for us this week. The house itself is located with a great view of the gulf and so little traffic on the beach in front I forgot we were in Galveston. Very well stocked as mentioned in past reviews. Sleeps well for adults :) Incredible green water to the beach with fantastic fishing; pompano, spanish mackerel, spotted trout (delish dinner) and blue crabs! ZERO complaints or issues! FYI, swing under house always seemed to have a nice cool breeze and great view!!!
