I would absolutely give this property and host 10 stars if I could! From the moment we booked, Michelle and David demonstrated amazing communication. Their check in process was seamless and they offered help, should we need, every step of the way. We knew exactly everything that the home was stocked with, which helped with planning meals on the way to the property from the airport! The home was stocked with absolutely everything that one could possibly need, and then some!! You could really just bring your clothes and be all set! They even had spices and basic condiments…which was so nice. The location made traveling to all parts of the island easy and it was within 5 minutes or less to the best beaches we found, especially for families with young children. Michelle reached out to make sure we knew about major road closures that could have impacted our drive back to the airport had she not texted us. I really couldn’t speak more highly of these hosts and this property. We would stay here again without hesitation!! Thank you, Michelle and David!

We had a wonderful time at our trip to Kauai. Condo is spacious, clean and just as advertised. The tasty treats were appreciated as well as the well-stocked kitchen. There was even an instantpot in the cupboard! Michelle responded quickly to a minor issue at the condo that was remedied quickly and did not affect our stay. The pool was beautiful and well-maintained. We loved the daily am coffee with the chickens on the lanai. Safe property which was close to everything including a conference I attended at the Grand Hyatt. Would happily stay here again in the future. Thank you!

Superb condo. Very modern and well decorated. We have rented several condos but none have ever been as well equipped as this one. Thank you for the bikes and beach equipment which were very useful during our stay. We appreciated all the little touches like the welcome basket of products and the book filled with suggestions for activities and restaurants. We highly recommend this condo. Mahalo!

I’ve stayed at multiple condos within the Pili Mai complex but this one was a notch above all the rest. It was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and I appreciated all the extra details such as a big welcome gift tray, fresh orchids in each room, and Malie products. Michelle has thought of everything you might need, so I enjoyed using the beach equipment, bicycles, and using the fully stocked kitchen. It was truly a luxurious oasis and I highly recommend staying here. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely wonderful property and experience! I highly recommend this property. The communication from Michelle was nothing short of perfect; she was very prompt in her replies to questions and super informative regarding property details as well as the island in general. In terms of the property listing, it was exactly as listed. The property was extremely clean when we arrived and it was stocked with everything you could think of. Prior to our arrival I contacted Michelle and inquired about the availability of a crock pot. Michelle went well above and beyond and purchased one for us to use during our stay which we used on several occasions. On another occasion she dropped off local bananas from her property which were so delicious! This level of attention to detail is “next level” hospitality and we very much appreciated it! Additionally, the welcome gift on the counter (full of local treats, fruits, and coffee) was a terrific surprise when we arrived and was such a fun and welcoming addition to the experience. The extras were a wonderful touch! It was very nice to be able to utilize the beach equipment that was included in the garage. The community pool, work out facility, and BBQ areas were places we frequented often and gave a home away from home experience. This was our first experience using VRBO and Michelle and David set the bar high. From the moment we booked our stay we felt at ease that we would have the perfect space for our family. They were so responsive throughout the entire process. We were traveling with our 3 young children (all under 7) Hale Honu was stocked with everything we needed and then some. They went above and beyond with all the tiny details that made our trip even more enjoyable. From the amazing welcome basket with local fruits and treats to having a pack n play and highchair for our baby. The garage was stocked with wonderful beach items and so much more. It was those details that made our trip so much easier and we could put our focus on making memories. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place to stay. It was the perfect home away from home and we cannot wait to come back! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

The property was exactly as described and very comfortable for our family! The home was equipped with everything that you would need for your stay. The hosts were fantastic to communicate with before and during the trip! We would definitely stay here again!

This beautiful home is completed with every amenity you might want In paradise. I’m not certain where to begin but this home is so comfortable from the moment you walk in to the first morning when you are enjoying coffee on the lanai while wild chickens wander through the yard. We were greeted with an incredible basket of local fruit and goods, Thank you . This place just didn’t stop producing enjoyment. From the fun bicycles to the perfect temp pool we had a blast each day. We even used the grills one night. They are spread around and kept clean and full of propane. Let me sum it up with this, when I return I will be looking to book this same home and so should you. Mahalo

My friend and I stayed here for a one week vacation in paradise! We each loved having our own bedroom and bathroom, in addition to the joint living spaces - the gorgeous, very organized, and very well stocked kitchen, and the comfy living room. The community pool was close to our unit and the patio had a peaceful feel, with views of an open space and plenty of roosters! The location was just a mile from the beach. We took advantage of all the beach accessories provided - chairs, umbrella, floaters, and snorkel gear. This was one of the nicest rentals I have stayed. Thank you Michelle and David for showing such amazing attention to detail in your lovely home!

In all our years of traveling, and we travel several times per year, this condo was the best condo we've ever stayed at. The owners David and Michelle were wonderful to work with in that they were very responsive and they've put a lot of effort into stocking the condo with everything you'll need. We LOVED this property and all agreed that the photos didn't do it justice. It was beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and right in the heart of everything that you'd want to do in Poipu. The beds were comfy (even the foldout couch wasn't too bad), and this place literally had anything that'd we'd need to enjoy the island. We would hands down stay here again and just loved our hosts.

My mom and I stayed at this property for our girl's trip this month. We absolutely loved the property! It was decorated so cute and well stocked. The owners were kind and responsive. The location was fantastic and the pool was a bonus for the days we didn't want to go to the beach. I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip!

Our stay here was amazing! Not only is the property and the surrounding area beautiful, but the hosts were wonderful too! They were quick to answer and messages or concerns, made the check in process so easy, kept a great property with a book of great suggestions, and were very friendly! We couldn’t recommend this place more and we can’t wait to come back!

We have 35+ years of experience as time share owners, VRBO renters and Vacation Club members. We recognize quality accommodations and service. We certainly found it when we entered the Hale Pili Mai Resort at Poipu, Kauai. The resort is a sprawling complex of 15+ buildings tailing 190 units. Well maintained and landscaped with a centrally located large pool (you can do laps), hot tub and exercise room. Gas grills and recycling stations are also located throughout the resort. While only 10 minutes from the beach you have a feeling of being inland with mountains in the distance. And it is peaceful, you don’t have the noise and traffic congestion like you do around mid-island. We had a spacious (1,250 sq ft) ground floor unit, nicely decorated, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a computer desk and a garage. The garage has many bikes and beach equipment; chairs, coolers, snorkeling equipment and boogie boards. You can still squeeze a car in (barely). It's the little things you notice that add to the great experience of staying here. The welcoming basket which includes Kona coffee, Macadamia nuts and island fruit for smoothies. Lights installed underneath the bath room vanities as night lights. A toaster that actually has a temperature control that works. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent from you again.

We arrived to a lovely furnished home, with a well stocked kitchen and garage. There was everything we needed for our two week stay. Everything was clean and well taken care of. I’d stay at a home hosted by them anytime! The only down side was the street noise and loud neighbors AC unit that would kick on, which made our patio time a little* less enjoyable, but not enough to keep us from using it. Overall, a wonderful place!

Everything was great! We appreciated having everything we needed in the condo. Michelle was a great host. Great location. We hope to return!

The rental was perfect! We had 6 people and it worked out great. Plenty of room for everyone. It was clean and looked new. It was set up with everything bikes, boogie boards snorkeling gear. The pool and hot tub were awesome when we weren’t at the beach. The gym out by the pool was set up good. The location was great just a couple blocks to Poipu shopping center. You have to try little fish cafe. Great food (even vegan) excellent coffee and not overly expensive. The kitchen was set up great. My daughters cook a lot and we’re impressed that it had everything. I would like to come back again. It’s an amazing island and excellent location for a home away from home. Thanks David and Michelle the hosts! They were great.

Maybe chelae and David were so hospitable. This property had it all. 4 bikes, 5 boogie boards, new towels for beach. Pull out couch had all bedding ready to go. Checkin was super easy! This was a great 1st stop on our visit to Hawaii! Close to everything and had a pool the kids enjoyed a lot. We saw stars every night and had a lot of fun adventuring and playing at the beach. The unit is super clean and we had groceries delivered and felt like we were at a fancy hotel!! I would definitely recommend this place lace to my friends who want a home base in Po’ipu! We just spent 9 days in Paradise at Hale Honu. What a beautiful condo with all you could need for your stay. From the beach gear to the kitchen amenities we were so comfortable here and it truly felt like our home away from home. Michelle and Davjd did not disappoint in covering all you would need to have an incredible vacation on Kauai. The condo was so clean and the property beautiful. We plan to return again down the road.
