We had such a great time at this beautiful apartment next to the Galata tower. It was a long-weekend trip with 4 girlfriends from our undergrad days. There were 4 of us and the apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs. The location is great: we walked the cobblestone streets discovering the Karaköy neighborhood with its hills, tiny stores, charming cafes and friendly cats. We also walked the Galata bridge every day just because it's so much fun and it takes only about 30 min on foot to get to Sultanachmet quarter. Everything inside the apartment was so convenient, clean, comfortable and thought-through. We had some concerns about some amenities beforehand (wifi efficiency, water pressure, heating etc.) and were wondering why no one was addressing these topics in their reviews. And now we know: because it all works perfectly well! And manager Taskin is a true treasure! Stay in this beautiful place, watch sunsets from the gorgeous roof terrace and have the best time in Istanbul!

Great stay in this beautiful apartment in a very lively area, literally at the foot of the Galata Tower and among its restaurants, bars, shops. The view from the shared rooftop terrace is an absolute must: how to better appreciate the fabulous site of this extraordinary city? The apartment is well heated (we were there in February), pleasant, in a historic and elegant building. The communication with the hosts is perfect. Hosts are, moreover, attentive and helpful. Thank you very much for everything.

The apartment was beautiful, beautiful location near the Galata Tower. The terrace was perfect, we went every evening to drink tea there. We were with 4 people (friends) and the apartment was more than enough for us. Julia and Tarkan were very fast with communicating.

We were in Instanbul for the first time and this is an superb location to have a base, right by the Galata Tower. The view from the terrace is amazing and you can plan your sightseeing from there! Apartment itself was lovely, everything you needed. Its an old building with huge character and the apartment itself is beautifully decked out and in keeping with modern twists. Bedrooms were roomy and more than comfortable. Great duvets and linen etc. Two big bathrooms with excellent showers. Kitchen has everything you need. All in all what a great place. We were met on arrival as well, so can't recommend this highly enough.

This is a gorgeous place. The climb up the hill and up the stairs is well well worth it. The rooftop terrace has a great view. It's not directly accessible from the flat.. you exit the flat and head up another flight of stairs. But I did take my coffee up there in the mornings. We had a very rainy day and the flat is big and comfortable enough to spend the day in.. reading, and looking out the windows (great views of the streetscape). Internet is fast. Julia and Tarkan are quick to respond and answer questions. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations ... especially the first night when we just needed somewhere closeby and easy. Kitchen is easy to figure out and cook in.

The apartment was excellent - exactly as seen in the photos, spacious and in a great location. Even though it is located in a very busy location, it was not noisy, an we thoroughly enjoyed the terrace sunsets every evening. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms (especially the showers) were very luxurious. The kitchen was fully stocked and we could make our breakfasts and aperitivos very easily. We would highly recommend the apartment for groups looking to stay in a beautifully renovated and modern place in the middle of historic Istanbul.

Overall a pleasant and clean place to stay for group of 5, great location next to Galata tower and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. Amazing views from the terrace!

Loved the house! It was clean & well-equipped. Also really appreciated the metro card we got which helped us access the tram throughout the city. The rooftop views were to die for & have a great 360 degree view of Istanbul. Would definitely recommend this apartment for its location, it’s literally right next to the Galata tower. Surrounded by so many great restaurants & shops. Overall, loved the experience.

The location is first-class, ten meters away from the Galata Tower, and the roof terrace enjoys the same view of the Galata Tower. The host also prepared transportation cards and travel guides! Love it!

We absolutely loved staying at this apartment! The area is bustling with things to do. The tram station is close by and it is very easy to get around anywhere you want. We will definitely be recommending it to others coming to Istanbul.

I stayed with my family. The apartment was spotless, which is not something you always find when you reserve a place even tought it is advertised as such. The location was a 10 since it is close to public transit stations, restaurants and all of the sites that one wants to visit while in the city. The attention of the host went far and beyond what one can hope for. I would recommend staying in this place to anyone.

Very nice place. Conveniently located by the Galata tower. Pleasant streets and lots of life. Nice views from the terrace and the window in the living room can give you a cozy feeling of Istanbul vibe. Highly recommend the place! Taksim, Eminönü and Galata Tower are close by.

Try as I might, I couldn’t find anything to fault in this apartment. Beautiful decor, fabulous location with views from the roof surely the best in Istanbul! Arrangements to and from the airport were faultless and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. Will definitely book again - we can’t wait to go back - just hope it’s available!

Great place to stay right by Galata Tower. Lots of restaurants, Cafes, shops walking distance. The area stays alive into the night, which we enjoyed.

Two moms and adult daughters had a great stay at Julie and Tarkan’s place. The flat was exactly as described. Beds were comfortable and everything clean. Rooftop views amazing. Location perfect for walking. Everything we needed. Host went out of their way to accommodate us on more than one occasion. Definitely book this flat. We would love to come again.

We had a short day in Istanbul,but from the time I rented this apartment until the end, everyone was wonderful. We were allowed to check in early. They helped us to hire a car transfer from the airport to the apartment and when we left we did the same. Very convenient and stress free!! The apartment was great,specious,clean and in a great location, right next to Galata Tower. They provide water and even provided cards for public transportation. The manager and his entire team , were amazing. You can arrange with the manager for tours or you can get information about places to eat and see. I highly recommend this place!!!

We spent a week at this place, excited to have access to a rooftop terrace and a place to call home. The transfer from the airport was so lovely and the hosts are great communicators - excellent! The apartment has aged a bit since the photos, but still comfortable and well appointed. It was a lovely refuge from the busy, buzzy neighborhood. Don't expect a view from the apartment but there's a great one from the terrace. There are only a few old picnic tables there so consider bringing or buying camping chairs to be able to relax and enjoy the sun and view.

We had such a great time in Istanbul and around the Galata Tower area. The apartment was a great location for viewing the town, especially at night from the roof deck. The apartment was fully furnished for cooking and eating. We did have most meals out but we made coffee and had a picnic to watch the sunset over the bridge on the roof. The area has so many good restaurants and shops. The apartment manager was very responsive and the book of information was very well done to let us know how some things worked, as well. I would definitely recommend the apartment for a family or 2 couples.

We had a fabulous three night stay - the apartment was just what we were looking for; spacious, comfortable, very clean and warm which was definitely needed as the weather was extremely cold but the apartment remained really warm and cosy. The area surrounding the apartment is lively with bars/cafes/restaurants/shops and it is within walking distance to the historic sights across the Galata bridge. We would definitely recommend the apartment and location. Thank you for a great stay.
