I spent an idyllic 3 winter months at this meticulous seaside cottage, 2 blocks from the beach. In a quiet and safe neighborhood I walked everywhere - from the Ole Hanson Beach Club (where I got a seasonal membership) to Casa Romantica (morning Yoga and evening concerts) to restaurants, SC Library, grocery stores and loads of retail therapy on Del Mar! The coastal cottage is thoughtfully appointed with everything needed for both a short or long-term stay with washer/dryer, full kitchen, WiFi, extra linens, etc and accomodating hosts, as well. (Sara even surprised me with some "extra"roses one day). This was my first post-retirement winter away and Sara and Sahl both welcomed me and helped me adjust, as did their friendly dog, Maverick. After working for so many years, it felt good to just relax in the sunshine and warm breezes! Thank you Sara and Sahl!

The hosts were exceptional and extremely nice and friendly. The location couldn’t be better! Clean and very safe neighborhood we will definitely return.

The property was well maintained and very well supplied with everything I needed. I loved the interior design and would highly recommended it for a single person or a couple.

I enjoy my stay at this lovely cottage.I stayed at the location for over 30 days. This place was just right for me All the amenities,great shower and comfortable bed,patio for kicking back,carport for parking your vehicle right next to the cottage so convenient. I would definitely recommend to anyone you will not be disappointed. This place is also close to a small park short walk to the beach and safe neighborhood to take walks also. If I am ever back in the area there is no doubt I would definitely stay here! The owners Sahl and Sara are outstanding hosts and very welcoming and making sure if there was anything you needed during your stay. Loved the place diffidently would stay here again Melvin

Small unit with upscale finishes in a wonderful OC beach town. Parking is tight throughout Orange County, this unit has a covered dedicated spot, huge plus. Short walk to beach and great restaurants nearby.

A delightful, tastefully decorated small place to stay. It was very clean and had all of the things you need. The bed was super comfy and it also had a beautiful shower. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The size and location of the house was great. Very clean and nice to have a designated parking spot.

I came here on a solo trip for a month with certain expectations of being near the beach, walking distance to other attractions, and in a safe area. Once I arrived, I quickly realized that this space was everything I wanted and more. The location is amazing (close to the beach trail, Del Mar, restaurants, and shops) and the space itself was perfect for a solo traveler. It was cozy with all of the essentials needed while also feeling totally safe and welcoming. Sara and Sahl were gracious hosts and helped me get settled, made sure I had everything I needed, and were very responsive throughout my entire stay. I will absolutely be coming back here again soon and will probably make it a yearly trip, if not more frequent. Highly, highly recommend!

Very convenient and comfortable.

Small & cozy place to stay for 2 people. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Ideal base for fun and enjoyment of all things San Clemente offers. Wish we could stay longer Hosts are very pleasant & responsive to all our questions. Highly recommended!

Really nice place To stay and experience the town. Beach was a quick walk to and enjoyed walking the beach trails morning and night. Then stopping at the pier for happy hour. Owners were very nice and accommodating. I would and will stay there again

Small but has everything you need. Very clean. Comfortable bed, great shower, good appliances, in suite laundry was a bonus. Brought our own feather pillows. Surfed at SanO almost every day of the 5 weeks. Great waves and weather. Sat out on the patio every afternoon. Not private but that didn’t bother us. Would have liked a few more pots and pans and better utensils, but no big deal. Also too many decorative items. We liked having our own space. The hosts were very nice people and we liked that they left us alone. Quiet neighbourhood.

The bungalow is lovely. Warm inviting interior finishes. Location is great, short walk to stairway to beach. Sahl and Sara are great hosts. Still some construction work occurring next door but almost completed. I would definitely return for another stay.

Both Sara and Sahl are kind, very quick to respond, and super hospitable. The unit is adorable and comfortable. The beach is a quick walk away, and San Clemente is great beach community.

Very clean, light and bright and larger than you'd think based on photos. Overall a really good option.

We had an absolutely amazing time in this cute little property. All needs met - great kitchen set up, really nice bathroom. The location is the best part - biking and walking distance from the beaches and cute local restaurants. Amazing launching off point for a sandy vacation. Sahl is great and very communicative. Would probably only recommend for 1-2 people because it is a very cozy cottage.

This was the best experience with a VRBO I’ve ever had. From the location of the property, to the decorations and amenities, to the personalized note and handmade soap, it was all perfect. I could not recommend this rental enough!

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Delivered as advertised with kitchen laundry and great shower. Very clean. Location is a short walk to beach, restaurants and cafes. Nice alley for dedicated parking. The small alley patio area is great for AM coffee or quiet happy hour. Check in/out was easy and hosts are generous and communicate well. Some times they even hand you a bowl of homemade jambalaya. If they do - take it!

I stayed here for a month in March 2021. The cottage was nice; new appliances, washer and dryer, comfy bed and great location in North Beach. I liked the vaulted ceilings and skylight. It made the cottage seem bigger. The only negative is that there were a lot of nick nacks for a small place, but I just moved some of them and everything was great. The owners are really helpful and nice. I highly recommend this rental. If you haven't been to San Clemente, give it a try, it's such a great beach town.
