We definitely over packed for the 1 year olds as there were plenty of high-end toys to keep them busy. House had everything we needed.

I travel every year with my family and rent homes. I always look at the reviews to help make my decision. So I'm going to be totally honest. My review might seem picky but I think people should know what my experience was like so that they can feel good about the decision they make. The pros - nicely decorated, plenty of room, close to Historic Downtown Wilmington. The cons - The neighborhood is low income and many of the houses are very sketchy. The privacy backyard fence blocks out the disorderly house and shop located directly behind this rental house. We didn't have any problems with the neighbors. But we were a bit surprised to find this nice of a home in this neighborhood. When two more family members came to join us, they said they drove around the block because they couldn't believe that this was the home I rented. The downstairs bathroom wasn't cleaned. We had to refill the propane tank for the bbq grill. It would have been nice to have more than one set of dish towels for the kitchen. Both of the upstairs bathroom towel holders fell off the wall. There wasn't a hide-a-bed for the extra person. There are three other identical houses right next to this one which is helping the neighborhood make a comeback. But it does have a ways to go.

This was our second time staying at Twin Palms and it was even better. The neighborhood is evolving--there is a brewery 5 min away!! My family and I will be visiting again.

The house has a great layout for entertaining and the backyard is privacy fenced in. Owners were responsive to our needs. Location is in an area that is seeing revitalization. Overall, very pleased with our stay

We booked this house for our son's wedding. We had 4 people stay at the home, but there was room for more. The home is clean, bright, fresh and very comfortable. The backyard is adorable, but it was too hot to enjoy in the July heat. The property is set up for families which I appreciated, even though I wasn't traveling with kids. The next time I'm in Wilmington, I will definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful and stocked with everything you need. Plenty of toys for the little ones! Safety gate on the stairs. Enough docking stations for the whole families electronics. The location is great for doing things around downtown Wilmington. However, keep in mind it is downtown. The surrounding areas look sketchy, but we didn’t have any issues. All in all we had a great time!
