Nice property, close to ski areas a big plus

We stayed at this house for a bachelorette weekend, the bride was overwhelmed with the property and so ecstatic! We had the best weekend and the house was close to Jim Thorpe town which was very convenient! The property owner was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful as we were not familiar with the area! The house was immaculate when we checked in, the process was very easy! The property setting os absolutely beautiful, the water and firepit area, all of it was just amazing! We've already talked about planning our next stay there! Thank you King Family for an amazing place for us to make memories!

We just wrapped up a long weekend with a tropical storm! Despite the rain and wind we had a wonderful time in this cozy home! So grateful for the game rooms! Host was awesome, immediately responsive. Home was clean, cozy and perfect for gathering.

We had a group of 12 adults for a long weekend at this property. Everything was as advertised. Everything on the property was of a nice quality including the hot tub, beds, firepit, appliances, etc. The dock is on a beautiful spot on the lake. I would definitely book again for a large group.

Linda’s house is becoming an annual trip for myself, my wife, kids, and my in-laws. Can’t ask for a better house in the Poconos - right on the water, beach for the kids to play, hot tub, pool in the community center, a variety of boats to choose from, and a 10 minute ride to downtown Jim Thorpe. Linda is great to communicate with. We’ll be back next year!

We stayed here with our whole family which included 4 families. Space was great and backyard with lake access allowed for plenty of space for kids to run around. Home’s boats and kayaks were great and it’s nice that life jackets are available as well. Homeowners were very responsive to questions we had regarding hot tub.

We had plenty to do while vacationing during a rainy couple of days. The property is well equipped with options for indoor and outdoor activities.

We found the perfect lodging accommodation for several families coming back to PA at Linda’s place on the lake. It was relaxing and clean and it allowed us to spend family time together, visit and make memories.

We can't say enough about our stay here. The kids were always occupied, with the boats in the lake, the foosball and ping pong tables, the pool nearby with pickleball and a playground, and Jim Thorpe so close by, we even enjoyed white water rafting. The house was very accommodating, and we saw deer and fawns every evening, and one time a fox.

We had a wonderful time here celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday and getting together with friends. We hadn’t seen in a long time. The hot tub is awesome with an automatic cover that just slides off so you don’t need muscles lol. The pool table has seen a lot of use, and is not level. If you’re looking for a championship play, it won’t do it. If you’re looking for a lot of fun and laughs, it’s great. There’s also ping-pong in a foosball table. Plenty for the kids to do. It was too chilly to take the kayaks on the lake as we had hoped, and there was a burn ban so we did not get to use the fire pit. But the property is wonderful. I definitely recommend it.

It was so nice to ski at Jack Frost during the day and come back to a fire by the lake. The whole family had a blast.

We had a great time. Our goal for our annual family/friends ladies trip is to laugh, relax and have a good time. The home is well kept and has many amenities for everyone from kayaking, camp fire, hot tub, pool table and so on. You can sit and do nothing or get active and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake.

Everything was great for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. We’ll be back!

Sitting by the fire. Kayaking. Fishing. Curling up with a book. Game of pool. Relaxing in the hot tub. So much to keep the family entertained. And the house has plenty of space for everyone.

We had a great week. The kids loved playing in the lake and at the community swimming pool. The location was close to many great hikes. We also made good use of the game room: it was perfect for our two families. Thank you for a great stay!

The house is amazing and the property was stunning. It exceeded our expectations. The lake is beautiful and it was so much fun to take the kayaks on. The house was clean and plenty of space for our party of 12. Definitely coming again!

Each year my friends and I plan a weekend without the kids and this place was perfect! Lake front property with only one neighbor who was t even there and quiet serene views! The house was just as we expected and it is amazing how they utilized the space. Everything was clean and beautiful. I have one small suggestion possible a little shoe holder somewhere Could be just us but with 14 people and no shoes in the house (which we loved!) but we had shoes everywhere 😂 regardless we loved this house. It’s one of our top contenders for next year. The huge open front yard with tall trees was a HUGE surprise. We play yard games a lot and it couldn’t have been a better setting for shade and privacy. Thank you for sharing your home we will likely return again!

This lake house is exactly as described and so much nicer than the pictures. Super clean, kitchen well stocked with needed items, and over all a fantastic location. Owner was extremely easy to deal with and we hope to go back soon.

The house is located just beside the lake. The ambience of the house and location is wonderful and eye catching. It is very clean and well maintained. Kids really enjoyed the hot tub outside the house. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to visit again when time permits.

The house was more than enough space for 13 of us. The beds were very comfortable and there's a lot of stuff to do in the house during free time. Definitely would want to try this place in the summer!

This property was everything that was listed! The house was great and the property was beautiful. Kitchen had all the items we need to cook meals. The game room and pool table were perfect for our kids ages 2-16. Beds were super comfy. The location was super too as it was so close to the town of Jim Thorpe, where we were pleasantly surprised an OCtober festival was happening! A great time was had by all. I recommended this property to two of my friends!

Overall we had a nice experience staying here. The house was very clean, well maintained, and comfortably slept our party of 7 adults with plenty of room to spare. We enjoyed relaxing in front of the fireplace, kayaking on the lake, soaking in the hot tub, and sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. A few complaints though: - There is a security camera placed at the front door (totally fine), but it’s also oriented with an apparent direct view of the hot tub… which made the female guests uncomfortable. - “Linens included” did not include towels of any sort… not even bathroom hand towels or kitchen towels. These last two items seem like essentials that should be provided with the house. - Our largest complaint about the property is the overbearing “NO TRESPASSING - $200 FINE” signs surrounding the entire back yard. It made sitting in an otherwise beautiful backyard a constant reminder that you were staying somewhere you didn’t belong. Not to mention the plethora of warnings of additional fines within the house rules book. It was really uninviting, and there are less offensive (yet equally effective) ways that the owners could have conveyed the same messages. We enjoyed our stay in spite of these complaints, but will likely seek another house for our next mountain/lake getaway.

We all had such a wonderful time! The kids and adults all enjoyed the lake and using the boats that were provided. House was very clean and the host was very responsive to me when I had an issue. Overall we all had a memorable trip!! Can’t wait to come back in future!!
