The location was good . The welcoming was good , clean and neat The rules were not strict , we chilled and nobody complained about noise or anything like that . The cleaning staff were on point and attentative

The couch in the lounge was not so comfortable , Was a 2seater , yet its advertised as a 4 sleeper. however everything else made up for it. Truth is I have nothing bad to say about the place . We ran out of toilet paper .

Is a basic accommodation, no AC, small rooms like a hostel

At first i was panicked as i am from KZN and driving through a township at 10 in the night was scary also the road looked doge but it was very safe.

the only disappointment was the shortage of bath towels i assume with load shedding that's probable a valid reason, its the only negative i could find.

the kocation was ok by all standards but just that it was a bit far from a shopping mall . but by all standard it was ok

the staff, the environment and all about the place was fantastic

staff was friendly and they were willing to assist us in making sure our stay was comfortable. wifi connection was really good. Property felt safe regardless of the fact that it is inside town.

Rooms next to the entrance gate have noise disturbance. we struggled with the car hooting at the gate when they call on security to open the gate for them.

The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy for us to prepare our own meals, providing a homely atmosphere. One standout feature was the absence of load shedding, ensuring uninterrupted power supply throughout our stay.

The size of the television. It was considerably smaller than expected, which made it less enjoyable for watching movies or relaxing in the evenings.

We did not have breakfast it was just a one night sleep over. So I would know if the breakfast was good or not . It was just bed only basis

I was honestly expecting more. I regret ignoring all the bad I read and thought I would give Mint Express a chance. But I must say it was clean and the staff were friendly.

We booked a 4 sleeper. We received 2 bath towels. The couch in the lounge was broken. In the 2nd room there is a couch which makes it impossible to close the door so the 2nd couple gets no privacy.

The supervisor was very rude to me

*The place is too excluded from decent shopping centers & e-hailing transport takes time to come because they are scared, the place to them is in Alexandra not Sandton. *Essentials like pots were not available in my room only frying pan was & each room should have it's own iron & ironing board to avoid long waiting or atleast have common ironing area. *There was no fan / air conditioner in the room please consider that, heat is now extreme in South Africa. *Bed linen were issued extremely late on Friday 24 November 2023 & towels were not available i only received them the following day.

Bathroom No aircon in bedrooms

I love the fact that they come and do room service everyday, it's great coming back after a long day into a nice clean room. Cleaning lady was friendly and did her job very well!!

The fact that a pipe blew and we were without water for 1 whole evening and the next morning. I hated the fact that a staff member told me that I must fill a bucket of water from 1 of the taps outside and use that. Mint hotel should have provisions for times like those. That was really really BAD service!! And the following day when the water came back on, it was difficult to take a shower because the water came out little bit at a time and it was cold. When I pay for a service, I expect to have the full experience nor half. I hope you will make provisions from now on, get jojo tanks or whatever.
