This property served our group well- 4 adults. The listing says it sleeps 8 but you would have a hard time fitting that many people into the cabin comfortably, the living space is smaller than it appears on the photos. Also, the listing does not accurately describe the upstairs shower. Anyone 6 feet or taller is going to have a hard time fitting in it. The garage and pull-through drive way was perfect for maneuvering and storing our fishing boat! Overall a comfortable stay for our trip.

This was our first time to visit this part of the US. McCall did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful and the house was a great addition. The photos online made it seem bigger than it was. But was enough room for two adults. Between what we brought and what was furnished in the house, we did not want for anything. Being right on the Payette river was a bonus. The neighborhood was nice and very quiet. We walked the neighborhood and enjoyed the sights. Very close and downtown and the Shore Lodge.

We were in town for a wedding at the shore lodge. We had 5 people in our family and this cabin worked perfectly. We would rent it again in a second. Kitchen was well stocked with essential equipment. Lovely decor. Good view of the river.

This is a beautifully maintained property with a magnificent view of the Payette river. Walking distance to the shore lodge and other restaurants.
Property was as advertised. The only negative was that the deck was smaller than it appeared in the listing.

Super easy process from booking to checkout. Very pretty view. Easy parking if you have a large truck or van. Was not an issue for us but based on the photos it was a little smaller than I imagined. Everything was clean and tidy. Was even treated to a deer family out the kitchen window one evening snacking. I would book again for future trip.

The cabin fit our needs perfectly. Nicely equipped kitchen. We did ind the ice cube trays in the freezer. Hard to open but worked.

This was an over priced cabin. Upon arrival you had to walk along a wooden bridge with steps from the garage. Very inconvenient while carting luggage. There were no closets for hanging clothes. The beds were worn & hard as rocks. The bedding had a musty smell. Overall we were very disappointed in this property

The Carlson Cabin is a very nice place to stay - very clean; comfy newer beds; on-site laundry; garage. It has a beautiful view of the river, however access is extremely steep even for someone who is quite fit. A portion has stairs, but the handrails are rope and not supportive. Sitting out on the deck is lovely, although there is a bit too much deck furniture and we had to move some of it to the garage. We would definitely stay again! Our family of 4 does much better in a home environment than trying to share a hotel room. The cost was at or below the cost of an average hotel room for McCall.

This cabin is great if you are wanting to spend most of your time downtown/exploring nearby parks. The view from the deck is breathtaking. Beds are very comfortable but pillows could use an upgrade.

We had a nice weekend escape in a spot close to town yet it felt like we were way out in the woods. We stayed in and cooked at the kitchen was well stocked. Comfy beds and a clean cabin as well!

Loved this place! It was a little smaller than the pictures made it look, but it was well equipped, super clean and they even had a little Christmas tree put up. We will definitely be back, location was perfect. Highly recommend!

Our cabin is under remodel and we love spending holidays in the mountains. Thos little place by the river satisfied our needs. It was quiet and the view was beautiful. Plenty of things in the kitchen to cook big meals. So wonderful to have our four legged children along with us.

We loved the cabin! It was perfect for my husband, our two teenagers and two dogs. The kitchen was well-appointed and the beds were very comfortable. It’s a little smaller than what the pictures show (wide angle lens) but that did not deter our enjoyment at all. I just mention it in case someone is thinking of more than 4 people, it would get a little tight. The communication with the management company before we got there was great and we didn’t have any issues while there. We came in the shoulder season so not a lot of things to do here at this time, but we came to unwind anyway, so it worked for us. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

They took great care of us ahead of arrival and even included a special way to acknowledge our babymoon. Great place to stay, close to downtown McCall and easy to find. More importantly, since it was November, I was pleased that it felt remote but also very safe to get to in the winter snow.

The deck had a fire pit, bbq and seating area. It is very cute inside, decorated in a rustic theme. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and anything you would need to make your meals. It is a short drive to the main stretch of town with lots of shops and restaurants. I recommend driving through the state park. We loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back with our kids. It has 2 bedrooms and a loft upstairs with a bathroom and shower. Highly recommend this property, you won’t regret it!
