My family of nine (married and unmarried) just finished our stay at Casa Surfside this last week and couldn't recommend it enough. The house was well stocked for everything needed for the beach which is just a 5 minute walk away. Having such close proximity to an uncrowded and beautiful beach with waves was certainly a highlight. Everything in the house is as portrayed in images. Plenty of sitting and dining spaces. Bedrooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. The hot tub was nice after a long day at the beach. Would not hesitate to book again.

The house was perfect. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked, the beach accessories were beyond amazing, and the garage for the kids was heaven. Nick the owner was great, he checked in frequently and was always available if we had a question.

We chose this large and luxurious house for a family weekend with visits to Legoland and walks to the beach, and it did not disappoint with a well-appointed kitchen, very comfy beds, and a fantastic bath in the primary suite. The garage full of toys and beach equipment put a smile on the kids' faces, and the spa out back put a smile on the adults'!

This place was perfect for a family vacation to Legoland and the beach. We arrived and the kids were immediately occupied by all of the toys in the play room leaving the adults the ability to unpack and get settled in without and interruptions.
The house was stocked with everything you need for a day down at the beach, we really appreciated the chairs and big wheeled beach wagons to carry our stuff and the kids loved the plentiful beach toys.

We had a wonderful visit. The property was very quiet and in a safe neighborhood. We walked to the Coaster for a train ride to San Diego. The kids, and adult kids, absolutely loved playing in the garage. We will return to this house sometime in the future.

We vacationed to Carlsbad for my daughters 1st birthday and it’s a trip that I will always remember! House was close enough to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood for some walks. About a week before the host offered us an extra day before or day after for 50% off and or early check in. When we emailed promptly back about early check in we didn’t hear back for a couple days. Then to find out that the host had already rented those days before out. My only issue is that we had this reservation for 5 months prior so early check in would’ve been a nice gesture, even paying a little extra. Of course the guests staying there the day before had a late check out so even when we got to the house at the scheduled time the cleaners were still there. I’ve never had a host retract offers like that. Let alone to people that had a reservation for months. All in all it was fine and the stay was great!

This property is just right. The location, the layout, the amenities, everything was just like it should be. We loved being 5 minutes from the beach and having all the beach equipment provided for us. The outdoor shower was awesome as was the hot tub (although it takes a long time to heat up). The outdoor space (both front and back) was great for outdoor relaxing and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. One thing we really liked was that the house is well insulated and there was no outdoor noise NOR was there noise from the other rooms. The kids could be noisy and we didn't hear them at all. As a result everyone slept peacefully and comfortably (beds and bedding were also first rate). Nick was a responsive host

What an amazing property! My family and I want to to go to the beaches of Southern California and discovered this GEM. Only a few blocks away from the beach, in a very quiet neighborhood, and the house is beautiful. The house has tons of room for everyone and a beautiful floor plan for family dinners and hanging out in the kitchen or just relaxing out back in the hot tub. The home has a great location for things along the Southern Coast. You can take the tram which is literally a block or so away which will take you up and down the coast from Oceanside to San Diego, which is so fun for families and couples. We would definitely stay here again and have nothing but praise for Nick and Casa Surfside.

We had two families staying at the house and it was perfect. House is fully loaded with toys for kids and beach supplies. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

As advertised! In all the right ways! Plenty of supplies. Seemingly close to everything particularly the beach. Hot tub was cleaned professionally twice during our week long stay. Play room was a HUGE hit with the little guys. Jogging double stroller and many beach items came in handy. No need to buy coffee filters as there are 800+ in the cabinet as everyone buys 200 and leaves 180 behind :). Very clean. Very responsive management.

We loved that the house was in a residential neighborhood and very close to the beach. The playroom was a huge hit with the grandkids-ages 2 through 8. It is a good place from which to take day trips to surrounding attractions and beach towns

Our Family stayed at this property for 5 nights. The house is beautiful and very clean. My 18 month old granddaughter loves the play room and my adult kids loved the jacuzzi! Very nice neighborhood and just across the street from the beach.

Casa Surfside was perfect for our family, with 5 adults. There was plenty of room and everything we needed was right there. We especially enjoyed the hot tub during the cool nights! The beach is a quick 5-minute walk with amazing views. Nick gave us thorough information, great service, and fast responses.

Casa Surfside is everything that our family could wish for in a vacation house. On this, our second visit, we once again enjoyed the comfort and spaciousness of this beautiful home and the wonderful location near the ocean. Our little ones loved the playroom and hot tub. Nick is always easy to reach and so accommodating. Even before we left, my daughters were asking about when we could return!

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in this lovely home. The photos accurately described the house. The playroom in the garage was a hit with our 2.5 year old grandson. The kitchen was fully outfitted with everything we needed to cook large family meals. We found the beds to be comfortable and the jacuzzi worked great. We loved sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. Great location close to the beach. Communication with the owner was excellent. Highly recommend.

Casa Surfside is very commodious for a large family group, with plenty of beds, lots of places to sit and chat, to eat, to play games, and for the kids to play (the garage/play room is fantastic). The house is well stocked with beach gear also, and the hot tub and outdoor grill were much appreciated. Beds were comfortable. The beach access is an easy walk, and a beach wagon is provided for carrying beach gear. Costco is close by to the north and Ralph's grocery is close by to the south. Really a great house and great location.

Comfortable and Convenient!
This house was perfect for our annual guys trip. Though spacious enough to spread out, it's a cozy house with lots of opportunities for home-cooked meals and hanging out together. The well-appointed kitchen met any need, and the living spaces provided a relaxing environment. With a very quick drive to the grocery store and a short, beautiful trip to Carlsbad Village, the location can't be beat! Nick was amazing with his communication and hospitality, and we all appreciated his attentiveness.

The property is a gem! The home was clean and updated. We appreciated the responsiveness from the property management team. The converted garage to a game center was a hit with our entire family. Proximity to the beach was another plus for our stay. We look forward to staying here again in the near future.

Incredible home away from home!
We rented Casa Surfside to celebrate my daughter's 4th birthday at the beach and Legoland! We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. They did a great job of making it extremely family friendly especially with the garage converted to kids' playroom. The location can't be beat as its only steps to the beach and 8 mins from Legoland. Ample parking was available. The home was impeccably clean and spotless. The husband has borderline OCD and the cleanliness exceeded his expectations. We would definitely love to stay here again for our next Carlsbad trip!

Amazing location with all the amenities you need for the perfect California vacation
We stayed at the beautiful Casa Surfside in Carlsbad for the holidays and loved it. The house is beautiful and spacious, the bedrooms are nice and the beds are very comfy. The house has all you need for a great holiday including many appliances & tools to cook yourself a nice meal, Hot tub, game room and a comfortable living room & outdoor space. The house is walking distance from the beach for nice walks and the neighbourhood is safe and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was very responsive and friendly. We will surely go back if we are in the area and they have availability. 5/5 would recommend!
