Comfortable, clean little house. enjoyed our stay.

I grew up in Roseburg so I know the area. I was here for my 50th high school reunion and a classmate and I were able to invite a couple of friends over before we went to dinner. It was nice to have a real house to meet up at, and be able to offer ice cream for desert after dinner at El Dorado, a local (within walking distance) Mexican place. Just a homey vibe all around. As for amenities, I loved having the convenient laundry room and regular size fridge, nice glassware, hair dryer, oh, and a printer that worked perfectly with my lap top computer. I had the larger room and it actually has a sitting area and a nice sized closet. It was fun to see what the host had done with the property. Full disclosure: No dishwasher (no big deal) and parking is on the street right in front of the house. Also, the guests are asked to start a load of towels upon departure, which I will do. I plan to stay here again, and will feel safe and comfortable as a woman traveling alone. As the title suggests, I am staying a second week in Roseburg and I wish I'd booked a full two weeks in this VRBO, rather than moving to a local hotel. If I'm here in the warmer months, I will definitely be sitting outside on the front porch, just like folks did 100 years ago in this neighborhood.

My friend and I were in Roseburg for 3 nights to attend a 5 class reunion. This house was ideal for us. In a cute neighborhood. Great walking distannce to a revived downtown. We enjoyed everything about this house. We would definitely come back to this one.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax after hiking and exploring the area.

We traveled to Roseburg to play in a golf tournament at the Roseburg Country Club. The house was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. The surrounding area of Roseburg is just beautiful. It was very hot during our stay, but the room air conditioners were great and kept the main room and bedrooms nice and cool! Nice beds and linens. I slept well. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our first stop of a 2 week trip around Southern Oregon. It was a comfortable place with everything we needed. Our host was attentive to our needs. It was clean and in close proximity of what we came to Roseburg to do. We were easily able to ride our bikes around town and along the river. We were also in close proximity of wineries, which was our main purpose of the visit. We enjoyed evening meals on front porch. It was delightful.

We enjoyed staying at the Sophisticated Bungalow. I was there with my three kids (ages 10, 8, and 6) as we visit my Grandma. The place is clean and nicely decorated. I cooked every meal there and had all the cookware I needed. There’s a BBQ but I didn’t use it. It was hot while we were here (90s) and the ACs kept the house cool. Our last rental in Roseburg didn’t have AC on the top floor so it was so hot! This one was great. I drank my coffee on the front porch each morning and it was perfect temp, comfy and quiet. It’s a great location as we went to the Wildlife Safari, the parks, and the skating center. There were a few dvds. The downside is there were no games and we play quite a few games on vacation. I brought some so we were fine but there’s none there. Thank you for letting us stay here! We come once a year so I hope to stay here in the future!

Very clean and well maintained vintage cottage. Location is close to everything and walking distance to Dairy Queen and the best little Mexican restaurant.

Stayed for a week, house was cute, wonderful art, clean and could walk to downtown,not to mention just a few blocks from Backside Brewery. Would definitely stay again

The cottage was very clean and a good central location to visit local wineries. Good to have a kitchen available to cook in.

This is a cute well-appointed house. This was a new neighborhood to me, but it was quiet and having a glass of wine out on the porch was really peaceful. You are close to a lot of nice restaurants. Didn't do much walking because of the cold, but was a nice neighborhood to walk in. Pretty houses. I like houses like these that have personality plus. Could live here. Will stay again when next in Roseburg.

This is a wonderfully set up and comfortable cottage. Sparkling Clean. Sue is a very generous and kind host.

This was such a charming and cozy home. It was super clean and well stocked. Loved that we had heaters in the rooms.

We stayed here for our long weekend visit to crater lake and wild life safari. This location is perfect as it’s on the exact way to crater lake and about 2 hrs drive. Winston Safari is just about 20 minutes drive . Kids enjoyed the home with nice front and backyard . Big thanks to owner for being very considerate with adjusting dates and keeping front lights ON for day one late night arrival.

This home is just so adorable and functional! Cozy furnishings, great mattress, well appointed kitchen and bath. Tons of TV choices too (it snowed so we curled up with Netflix). Walkable to a family owned Mexican restaurant and other things. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
