Beautiful location in Rock Hall, sunsets and accommodations were 5 star- Walk to town for breakfast, lunch, dinner or shopping- Perfect location to relax and getaway

We have rented VRBO properties before so we have a frame of reference for what we like. This beautiful property exceeded our expectations 😊 We hope to book this again for our vacation. Thanks very much to owners for their generosity in sharing this home.

We loved our stay at On The Rocks. The secluded location was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sunset views while relaxing in the hot tub. Having a private dock was great for kayaking and crabbing. The downstairs space was very open and provided enough seating for our group of 10! We enjoyed the garage full of activities including a volleyball net, bikes, kayaks and so much more. We appreciated the sand toys and umbrella for the kids when we drove to the beach (only 4 minute drive, was super cute and family friendly). The locals are very nice and we felt welcomed wherever we went. The only small quirk is because it's an old house the top floor bedrooms and showers are not very tall. We had one person in our group over 6 foot and showering was a bit difficult but doable! Overall an amazing place to stay!

My family spent the long Memorial Day weekend at On the Rocks. The house and our visit exceeded expectations. The location is at the end of a long street, very close to the water, but still feels quiet and private. The outdoor space at this house is incredible and we enjoyed the multiple decks, the deck seating and the hot tub which was an added bonus on a cool night. The property comes fully stocked with everything you could need from wine and beer glasses to kayaks, bikes and cornhole. Perfect place for our family to unwind together and enjoy beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend!

We just had a great stay at Rock Hall and On the Rocks provided everything we needed for the family. We took advantage of the pool, kayaks, paddleboard, crabbing equipment, bikes and more! We walked into town every morning for coffee and enjoyed the nearby restaurants for takeout. Rock Hall is a sleepy town in June with a lot of the stores and restaurant not opening during the week, but this did not bother us one bit. Our grandchildren are young, so we did not need much going on outside of our place. Diane the property manager is great and responsive. Sunsets are beautiful from the property, and we loved having the private dock. I arranged for a photographer to come and take family photos one night and the scenery was amazing with the marina as the backdrop.

We didn’t want to leave after a long weekend! Great view of the bay ! Everything there for you! We fished on the private dock , kayaked ! Then relaxed in the pool and hot tub!! Corn hole , bikes.. the list goes on .. very private , great wildlife to see!! Can’t wait to come back !!

This was exactly what we needed. Although this was our vacation, my wife and I did work a few times. This place was suitable for both. I also brought my own kayak, but they were also well equipped for those that didn't want to bring something like that. Everything in the community was easily accessible too which was a plus and something I forgot to check in advance. I strongly encourage individuals, families or whomever to stay here as you will be pleased.

We are natives to the area and were there visiting family. The property has a beautiful water / marina view. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The backyard is huge and well landscaped. There were countless recreational toys - bikes, kayaks, etc. The kitchen is well equipped. The living and kitchen / dining area is open and accommodating. All appliances were newer and worked well. There are no closets, but there are plenty of dressers. You have to bring your own sheets. Diane responded immediately to all questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family rented this house a few times 25 years ago. It was lovely then, but the upgrades that have been done inside the home, the deck and garage have made it even better.

We celebrated our anniversary and our grandchildren and Mom and Dad joined us for the weekend. Very comfortable-not super fancy which was perfect for us. Great supplies in home and hot tub was a nice addition.

Due to a winter storm we were unfortunately unable to stay more than one night/ The property manager was always available And tried to accommodate us in a terrible storm. We will be returning in the summer to take advantage of all the great outdoor amenities!

Perfect place for a quiet getaway with family and friends. The lawn and waterfront ar3 amazing and the house has everything one needs. Would love to stay again.

The house and property was perfect for our family. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen that looked out to the large deck and marina beyond. The out door space has plenty of seating and lovely views. The large gas grill and the fire pit were put to good use. Our party of 10: really enjoyed the home and property

We had a great time in Rock Hall. The house is exactly as in pictures. We spent so much time in the kitchen cooking, eating and enjoying the fantastic view of the bay through the windows. The kids loved the pool. We caught some fish and crabs off the dock. There are plenty of outdoor sitting areas to enjoy. We absolutely loved eating crabs at the picnic table, which was fully in the shade in the middle of the day. The house is in a perfect spot and offered everything that we could ask for. The only minor complaint that we have is the washer. It needs some deep cleaning as we found muddy water around the door seal and the drum was not clean. We couldn’t do laundry there but that was not a big deal as we brought enough clothes. We will definitely come back.

On the Rocks has everything you need to enjoy your time on the Bay. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and definitely recommend the local restaurants, crabs from Ford's, and the charter with Roweboat Sportfishing.

One of our absolute favorite vrbo rentals! Waterfront location is amazing. We brought our sailboat down from Worton Creek up the bay and and had no problem docking on the pier. There were beautiful sunsets every night and the views of the marinas and boats coming and going were fabulous. The house and the outdoor areas are very spacious and updated nicely. The garage is stocked with all kinds of toys and fishing/crabbing gear to keep everyone entertained. Communication with Diane was great-we even locked ourselves out of the garage (oh no-no toys!) and Diane and the caretaker Bob who lives down the road saved the day in no time. We will definitely be back!

You will not find a better property and home to enjoy your time away. Not only is the house and location perfect, they have thought of everything for amenities to enjoy while you are there. We fished from the dock, played kickball in the massive yard, roasted marshmallows on the fire, kayaks in the water….and so much more. It’s hard to keep 8 teenagers off their phones, but not here. They loved it as much as the adults. We will definitely be going back.

Best enjoyed during summer for pool and dock, outside of house needs a better cleaning of spiders, debris (powerwash) especially for the price point. Inside had spiders, but rooms were clean, awesome views. Recommended.

The property was as advertised. Diane was available with any questions I had, and responded quickly. Lovely home and everything right there to keep you entertained. The pool was open what a treat this time of year! Plenty of space for the family. Enjoyed the bikes kayaks and even had a fire outside on a cool evening. We will definitely return. Newly remodeled older home in a peaceful setting. Lots of nice touches, Roku TVs, well stocked kitchen, kayaks, bikes, fishing gear. Pool was nice with the exceptionally warm weather during our September visit. Mosquitoes were pretty bad in the evening, but that’s not unexpected. Rock Hall is nice, but the local grocery store is pretty limited. Check out the local store Fresh Start and/or stop on your way in for groceries. House was very clean, but we could have done without the scented laundry detergent that was used, but that’s certainly a personal preference.

The property is expansive and wide open set right on the water with an incredible view of the active marina just across from the private dock. The pictures don't do a justice - simply gorgeous from morning until sunset!! Plenty of areas on the property to lounge, relax and enjoy the view. The property managers were quick to respond to questions and were available to help with any questions during our stay. We had a lovely time and would stay there again. The house is welcoming and cute. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. The pool is great and was where we spent the majority of our days since it was 90+ degrees most days during our late August stay. The central air system works well and kept us cool while indoors. Our oldest daughter loved sleeping in the bunk bed. The activities on the property are plentiful with a double garage well stocked with kayaks, paddle board, pool floats, life jackets of all sizes, cornhole and all types of fishing and crabbing gear. We used the kayaks and had a blast on the water!! Tips: - Bring beach/pool towels. - We did a sailboat charter with Capt. Mark's Blue Crab Chesapeake Charters and had a wonderful time - highly recommended!!

We stayed for 4 nights. It is a nice updated clean house. The pool was great to have right on a private area of the deck. On the dock we caught fish, and caught enough crabs to cook and eat right in the yard.and all the equipment you need to do these things are in the garage.where you will also find 6 bikes 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards.along with lawn games.we had a great time and plan to go back.

Lovely home, plenty of room. Nice area, very quiet. Plenty of good fishing. Great kitchen! The only thing I didn't like was that when you go upstairs, the house slopes a bit and I get vertigo so I took the downstairs bedroom. The weather was really hot so the pool was welcome relief. Awesome place for a family vacation.

If you are looking for a spot to get away from the craziness of life then this is it. Beautiful home with room to spread out. Great property with literally all kinds of things to get you outdoors—bikes, kayaks, fishing, crabbing and lawn games. The house is well organized and maintained. All is as it was promised. Would go there again in a heartbeat

I stayed with family here and had such a wonderful time. It was so relaxing to just sit outside and be right next to the water. We went on the kayaks, swam in the pool and tried to crab. I would highly recommend booking this home! It rained for a little bit and we found the home stocked with many games to play. The TV had many apps (Netflix, Disney Plus, PBS kids, Nick Jr., etc.) and the wi-fi worked well. Rock Hall was also a cute town. We did a sailing tour and ate at a waterside restaurant.

We decided to skip the beach vacation this year and planned a trip to Chesapeake Bay. We sure are glad we did. The communication with Diane was easy and response time was extremely fast. The house was clean, view was amazing, and so many things to do right at the house. We did venture out for a fishing charter and sailing cruise. What a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

We came for a quick weekend getaway. We didn't have to leave the house at all! The weather didn't cooperate for us to use kayaks and paddleboards, but the kids played corn hole and croquet, flew kites, and went fishing. We didn't even have a chance to use all the fun things that were available. The deck and yard were lovely. The house was clean and fit 8 of us very comfortably. Bonus points for the little details, like the herb garden on the deck! Would absolutely stay here again!
