Loved this cottage it has everything you need for the perfect stay, must say the bed was so comfortable. Your pet is well provided for with a blanket, towel, bowls and treats. The hosts Mark & Kay are lovely, thank you so much for making us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

Extremely clean & well appointed in an ideal location close to the town centre. Parking outside, great communication prior to our visit from Mark along with helpful advice during our stay. We would highly recommend staying at the cottage and hope to return soon.

A warm welcome and a comfortable cottage, well located in the centre of Skipton, opposite the castle. A comfortable double bed and a relaxing sitting room with a picture window overlooking a field and the town.

It had everything you needed and the owners were really helpful about where to go for walks with our dog and were we could go for lunch

The Cottage at The Bailey is the perfect spot for that home away from home feel. Mark & Kay make you feel welcome from the start. They are a wealth of information for what to see, do and the best places to eat in not just Skipton but the surrounding area.

Loved to size of the cottage, perfect for two people and the location was great.

The accommodation was excellent; it was quiet, comfortable and well equipped. It had character but with all the benefits of a modern interior, and overlooked a field with views in the distant. We'd certainly stay here again if the opportunity arose. Skipton was a few minutes walk away with a good choice of restaurants, coffee shops and places to shop. It was a good place to stay for visiting the many beauty spots and places of interest.

Unfortunately the weather kept us inside a lot, but the size of the apartment gave us room to relax and spread out. We loved watching the people outside the windows going to and from town and school, most of them with their dogs. The location was perfect for the few times we did leave its comfort. Except for our food, the apartment was well equipped with all we needed, including a very comfortable bed! Wish we’d been able to take more advantage of the lovely area.

A well equipped, comfortable cottage, well situated to explore Castle Woods and Skipton. Entertainment laid on with chickens and sheep. On-site car parking, a good welcome pack, a comfortable bed and a dishwasher.

The cottage was really quiet and comfortable. It was in an ideal spot , only 5 minutes walk to the interesting town centre and minutes away from very scenic walks.

Great location allocated parking space , nothings ever too much trouble for the owners Mark and Kay always a warm welcome , 2 minutes into town on foot, The cottage is perfect
for the surrounding dales ,just about everything is on that doorstep.
Very comfortable well lit accommodation with all mod cons , in all a fantastic hideaway should you need it , not one complaint at all , we are back next spring and are looking forward to it already 👌another hassle free holiday on the edge of town

Close to the amenities of skipton. A 5 minute walk to castle. Great position for exploring what north Yorkshire has to offer. Also Kendal not to far to see the Lakes.

We enjoyed the warm welcome, our hosts were so considerate of our needs and kept us informed of booking details, let us know we could check in earlier. We found the cottage to be so cosy and relaxing. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The bed was so comfortable we slept so well. There was a lovely welcome pack to make our stay even more special. The cottage is in a great location and we enjoyed being able to leave the car and walk into Skipton.
