Superb stay and location was excellent. The host catered to all of our needs and were super friendly. We would definitely stay again. Plus the Herdwick and the little extras in the room were a lovely touch

Owners were amazing. Always texting us asking if we wanted anything. However the room right up the top was very small. No wardrobe just a rail. Room was pleasant but bathroom was really dated. Lino coming up in places. Rusty shower pole. Few holes in wall. Place was very clean tho. We have stayed in better places for same price. Think if we had stayed in another room it would have been perfect as owners would do anything for you. Maybe just update bathroom and change position of bed as head directly under short curtains and very bright on a morning.

Great location between Windermere and Bowness. Great free on street parking with no problems getting a space. Owners keep themselves to themselves but are available if you need them - this approach really suits us down to the ground.

Stayed in room 1 and was a gorgeous room with a really comfy bed and loved the little treats in the room with the tea and coffee. Such good value for money and perfect quiet location (with parking) just between Windermere and Bowness. Also Netflix in the room. Would definitely stay again

Very nice and cozy room, super comfortable and in the middle of Windermere, 15 minute walk from the lake and 15 minute to the station.
We had a problem to reach the apartment in time cause train stroke and they was super nice with us, helping to changing the stay night.

lots of personal touches around the property with lots of useful information. Feels like a lot of love and care has went into each room and attention to detail everywhere.

The location, cleanliness and room size were great. I'd highly recommend it for those points alone. The hosts were available when needed, but left me to enjoy my time in the lakes in peace. The room was well appointed with all you could need. Also the softest fluffiest towels I've ever used!
I'd pick a back room next time as the road noise was a little loud for me, but I do live somewhere with no through traffic so perhaps that was just me. Also no takeaways allowed in the rooms was unexpected but understandable, but as a single traveller I'd have prefered to have the option of eating in the room.

The perfect guest house in the perfect location. Everything very well thought out and well executed, even the small details. Absolutely loved every minute of my stay, exceptionally cleans and very comfortable and homey. Was my first time travelling alone and felt very safe throughout my stay. Couldn’t recommend enough!

It was easily done, as in there was some epic flapjacks left for us and the owners prepared everything for us in advance. Also, they left the keys in a key locker so we could go in and out as we please

The location: 10 minutes walk from Windermere and from the town, facilities, lovely room, heating always on because outside was freezing, attentive hosts, room and toilet very clean.
We didn't have a chance to meet personally the hosts, although, when needed, they were always there for us. Hopefully next time we will manage to meet them 😊

Lovely quiet room, close to Lake Windermere.
Owners were helpful from the moment the booking was made. Easy to follow check-in, welcome texts received during first day. Great to know they were reachable if required.

Amazing location close to both windermere and boweness. Very comfy bed! Lovely touches in the room such as sweets/ a cafe tier and homemade flapjack.
