We had a good time. We were very disappointed that the hot tub did not work. Also couldn't get the grill to work. We loved the area. Beautiful view. Loved watching the wild life.

Fit our needs perfectly. We were there with 18 people. We loved the space it had. Especially loved the big deck!! We hiked to Devil's Bathtub, rented side by sides in Deadwood, & went mini golfing in Deadwood. All very close by this house. Also went to Rush Mountain one day. That was a little drive to get there but the grandkids loved it!!! Would stay here again if we come to the Black Hills again.

The lodge was awesome! We all really enjoyed all the amenities and space the place had to offer. From the bedrooms, to the living rooms, to the decks, we enjoyed being able to gather and socialize in such a great place. We also enjoyed seeing deer, turkey and being away from the city. Thanks again!

The house is very well built, no squeaky floors or issues. The view from the deck is very nice, deer and turkeys were seen everyday. Lots of room for our family of 11 to sleep and eat. The kitchen is well stocked. It was not as clean as it should have been since I was told the cleaning crew had just been there (and with the cleaning fee shouldnt the house be clean before I arrive, not just after?). There were no extra garbage bags, kleenex, soap bottles in the bathrooms were almost empty (cleaning crew did not refill), toilet paper, dishwashing soap etc so we bought some. Contact the owner if that happens to you, they said they would have brought us some (but shouldnt it have already been there?). Cell service is one or two bars, and Wi-Fi was not working well. Especially if the TV was on, the wi-fi crawled. Several people had to work while there and it was difficult. The wi-fi speed definitely needs increased. We have been coming to the Hills for our family vacations for 8+ years and always stay at a different house, we would come stay at this one again if the wi-fi issue was fixed. Plenty of parking, easy to find, good location for the Deadwood side of the Hills.

Plenty of space for everyone with its 5 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. The second full size fridge in the basement and freezer in the laundry room came in handy. Great outdoor spaces on the deck and the patio with plenty of seating. The kids enjoyed the play set out back also. The hot tub was relaxing. We were able to park 7 side-by-sides in the garage too. Location was great too. Grab-A-Cab service to and from the house was fast and appreciated so we could go in to Deadwood without unhooking our trailers. Would recommend this house to large groups and would stay here again. Budi was great to work with and fast to respond to emails.

This was a wonderful property for our annual family getaway to the Hills. The view is beautiful as is the home. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely lodge. It is quite accommodating for a large group. Our family enjoyed it very much. We do recommend you upgrade the kitchen pots and pans and cooking essentials. The stuff that is there is very worn out and there are a lot of things missing. It was a bit challenging to cook for a large group with a kitchen that had only enough to cook for a small group. Also, I don’t know whether it was my misunderstanding or what but I was under the impression by reading the listing that it was a wood fireplace on two different levels. They were actually gas fireplaces. I was quite disappointed as we were looking forward to real wood fireplace. The house is very easy to get to and we saw quite a bit of natural wildlife while we were there. It is super super close to downtown deadwood so that was a plus for us as we love deadwood. We would definitely rent from these folks again if we ever have another large group in the future. We truly enjoyed the game room and family time we had down there playing poker till three or 4 o’clock in the morning. I do suggest getting a sound bar for the TV in the main living area the one off the kitchen. Other than that I can’t complain! There were a lot of things left over I guess from prior guests or maybe the people that owned the house that we were able to use. In turn we left a lot of things for future people to use such as flour eggs bacon mayonnaise etc. things that we can’t take on a plane. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family! We made so many memories there that we will never forget. Most especially the fact that Santa found our eight year old grandson in the Black Hills of South Dakota. He was quite impressed!

Budi and the crew was super amenable. The entire place was awesome. The views in the morning are unbelievable. Looking out to see the deer and the turkeys is awesome. Everything is exactly as billed. We would love the opportunity to stay again!

This property was everything that was advertised. Close to Deadwood and also only an hour away from Rapid City. There was lots of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. We will definitely recommend this VRBO to any of our peeps that will be heading this way. It was a perfect location for our time together and we are so glad we booked it!

Was disappointed in a few things, the amount of wasps that were around, we killed about 50 of them, my grandchild was stung twice within the first 5 min of being there. A person that lived on the road didn't like us doing our morning runs or our highschoolers evening runs around the loop and told us that there has been bob cats spotted in the field behind the lodge, which would have been good to know about. Also an outdoor chair broke right away putting my daughter in law on the deck hitting her head, luckily, we had a nurse with us, the chair break looked really rusted. concerning how clean the property was, we found a ring in a box under the bed in the loft and pulled the couch in the living out to make sure we didn't leave anything, and it was apparent that it had not been cleaned under in a long time. But everything else was clean.

This is a fantastic cabin located in the Black Hills near Deadwood, South Dakota. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pans, bowls and plates. The kitchen is the perfect gathering place while preparing foods, and then while eating. The deck and living room have a fireplace that warms both areas, which is great on cool mornings and evenings. Highly recommend this VRBO cabin. Also lots of parking area which is vital when you have several groups meeting at one place. Thumbs up to everyone.

The home and property are beautiful! The place was just as we expected. Everything was in great condition (hot tub included)! The only thing that was disappointing was that upon arrival, the prior guests garbage had not been removed (this was taken care of the next day). Other than that, our stay was wonderful. This house will not disappoint you :)

Our stay was great. The kids were able to hike around the area. Town was close. Cabin was very clean. Only thing was there were lots of light bulbs burnt out throughout the cabin.

Upon arrival the hot tub was only 83 degrees so we contacted Budi with Black Hills Adventure Lodging and she told me to reset the breaker and take filters out which we did but did not help the problem. The next morning she had a spa guy stop out and he brought new filters and reset the hot tub. I visited with him and he said he's had lots of calls on this hot tub and advised it is very old and needs replaced. He stopped back later that day and the temperature was even lower as the heater was not functioning. We contacted Budi again and requested some type of compensation due this issue and what the spa guy advised. Budi quit responding to me. I should have read prior reviews because it's obvious from other reviews people have experienced similar problems. Very poor customer service from Budi. I have stayed several times with BH Adventure Lodging and had great experiences but this place is a NO GO and I will prefer not to work with Budi again either.

It's a quick trip into Deadwood and Sturgis. Full kitchen for all your cooking needs and plenty of room for the whole family or small group.

It was a beautiful view and great location near Deadwood! However, I do wish the hot tub would have been checked prior to check-in, because it was not working when we got there and by the time someone came out to fix it and got up to the correct temperature, it was time to leave and we were not able to use it that weekend and that was the main request was to rent a nice lodge with a hot tub.

Loved the location and the size of the cabin! great customer service also!! Will be returning next year!
