Beautiful and peaceful place tucked away nicely to quickly escape the city buzz. Very helpful care lady who made sure we were comfortable at all times. Also love the fact that the spa is on the premises

We really enjoyed our stay at River cottage. the rooms were lovely and the overall cottage was fantastic. The little extras we were not expecting. Tea, coffee, sugar, Milk and even Rusks. We will definitely be booking again.

There was nothing we were unhappy with. The only thing that could be mentioned is we didn’t know that we were staying by a spa would of liked to book massages but they were full. Otherwise it was amazing

the Wi-Fi was not working and they didn’t clean our place after the first night we slept there, we went to town hoping to find the place clean but it was how we left it.

Location was good. Sadly Swimming pool was not working. Had to take my family to another venue to swim on the Saturday

I wasn't told that the entrance was through the Woodlands Spa security gate and there was no signboard to say the River Cottage was basically on the same premises. Therefore ended up driving up and down the road looking for the Riverside Cottage. Also no reception area to check in/out. Had to walk around the property looking for someone to get the keys and also to hand the keys in on check out .

The River Cottage is a nice and quite place. the only thing you hear is the water from the stream. there is a Spa on the property which is wonderful. You can have a healthy Breakfast or Lunch at the Spa’s restaurant. The pool is wonderful for the summer heat. There is DSTV Premium.

We only stayed one night due to a wedding so our stay was short. But it was peaceful the little time spent was amazing love the cottage it was clean. The kids definitely want to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay your place and surrounding are beautiful and peaceful.

The host and staff were friendly, and we received a warm welcome when we arrived. I planned a Spa Day at Woodlands Spa for my daughter's birthday and the location was perfect, walking distance to the Spa. A stunning location with a beautiful view of the river. Quiet and relaxing. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated with lots of extras that made our stay comfortable. Crisp linen on the comfy beds and fresh towels. We had a wonderful stay and will return.

There was plenty of space, white crisp linen and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom has a tub and spotless shower. The cottage is beautifully decorated without being overwhelming .The outdoors are the crowning glory. The scenery is amazing from every angle. There was complenterary charcoal and firelighters. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk was also provided. Rechargeable lights and gas stove that can come in handy during loadshedding. Don't think about just book.

Gardens and location were very good.

Advertised as 2 bedroom, but is 1 bedroom with a further (rock hard) bed in the lounge. Leaking loo (acknowleged by host on arrival and promised to be rectified the following day but not done at any point during our 5 night stay) meant creaking pipes throughout the night made for poor sleep. Extremely brightly lit outside and no ability to control the lighting meant outside was too bright at night to enjoy. Some softer lighting would have made a big difference. Inside is dingy, a coat of paint is long overdue and black and brown tiling throughout make it depressing. Struggled to find the property as it part of another business and it is not signposted from the road.
