The apartment was absolutely fantastic. And it was less than one minute away from the beach which made it easier to watch the sunrise. Sonia’s. communication was perfect. She was so kind and recommended some great restaurants. The apartment was decorated with so much style and the amenities were great. What a hidden gem. It really was an amazing experience, the swimming pool was also very clean.

Die Lage des Appartments ist wirklich super! Die Gastgeberin Sonia ist eine wunderbar. Sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird jeden Morgen in der Küche von Naomi (oder einer Kollegin) frisch zubereitet. Bei Ebbe kann weit zum Riff laufen und bei Flut problemlos schwimmen. Die Küche ist wirklich gut ausgestattet.

Das Frühstück war etwas einseitig, da es jeden Morgen dasselbe gab (Omelette/Rührei) und Obst. Da ich leider viel mit Durchfall zu kämpfen hatte, hätte ich mich über mehr Toastbrot gefreut. In der Nähe gibt es keinen richtigen Supermarkt, der fußläufig ist. Netterweise hat uns Sonia an einem Tag zu einem Supermarkt gefahren. Allerding gibt es dort eben wie üblich nicht viel Auswahl. Kein Obst, kaum Toastbrot (ist uns dann gleich geschimmelt durch die Feuchtigkeit). Nicht tragisch, so ist das eben. Aber man sollte sich darauf einstellen ;-)! Wir hatten leider jeden Tag Stromausfälle. Dafür kann die Unterkunft aber nichts. Trotzdem war das etwas anstrengend, da wir dann kein Licht hatten, Handy nicht laden konnten und auch die Klima nicht funktionierte. Das Bett war sehr hart.

Very simple check-in experience. Wonderful hostess. Very clean rooms. Decent A/C. Nice breakfast. Very close to the beach. Pool.

We liked the terrace the most, also location.

One bed does not have the mosquito net and there is a million mosquitoes so our son could not sleep all night. Breakfast could be better.

We really loved this gem in Zanzibar- Beautifully located on the beach. The area is not overly flooded with tourists which meant it was quite peaceful I cannot compliment the staff enough. Everyone was extremely warm, helpful and kind. A huge shout out to Philipo (our hero) for going above and beyond when we most needed him. And last and not least, to the amazing beautiful owner (Sonia) who genuinely cares for all her clients and made sure we thorougly enjoyed our stay.

The mattresses were slightly hard but that's me being very picky

We enjoyed our 5 days' stay very much! It's a perfect spot for relaxation and unwinding. There are about five nice restaurants within 300 m and some small shops along the road maybe 600 m away. Apart from that not much to do, but to kick back and enjoy the beauty and silence. It's also easy to arrange a taxi if you want to visit the neighboring, more busy beaches. A special thanks to Sonia, who is a very cool, accommodating and efficient host, and her entire crew! Also our best regards to the barman of Villa Vanilla who brougt us several meals and cocktails to our front porch, always with a smile.

We didn't realise until arrival that when booking the beach front apt, you don't have pool access. At the end of the day, we never regretted our choice, as the sea was more than sufficient most of the day.
