Lovely little place, nice and remote but close to places we wanted to drive too. Goodrich castle is literally a five minute walk away.
Mattress was a bit too soft

The accommodation was clean and quiet and in a great location between Ross on Wye and Symonds Yat, and 5 minutes walk to Goodrich Castle.

Located in lovely village with many walks close by, also the River Wye for fishing/canoeing and Goodrich Castle to explore. A 15 minute drive to the town of Ross-on-Wye. The studio had everything we needed for a week’s comfortable living, as we do like to cook a little bit when away. It’s a delightful property. Amy kept in contact via the Booking.com messaging and we bumped into her at the parking area a couple of times but otherwise we were left to enjoy ourselves. It was a perfect holiday and I cried when I got home!
For us it was just perfect. Perhaps the only thing missing was a corkscrew!

Clean comfortable space to relax in after a day exploring. Bed was comfortable. Shower had good pressure and space. So pleased to have proper sized big body towels. Nice little private outdoor space to sit in. No noise from adjacent studio. Parking was easy too. Really happy to recommend Jollys and would definitely return next time we're in the area.
Jollys is a lovely place to stay. Nothing to complain about. If we were able to stream the tv it would have been nice, but that's not a criticism as we loved the place overall and hope to return.

Amy was made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to assist us when our car broke down on the way to start our stay, giving us a lift from a garage in Ross. Everything was very comfortable and clean.

Booking.com was misleading. I thought I was booking a two-bedroom place from the photos, not realising I booked a studio flat. To my horror it was a double bed. But that's not a reflection on the property which was 10 out of 10.

It was self catering so the breakfast was good
The mattress was very springy and bouncy .The heating was on for limited periods and it became cold at night. Flushing the toilet whilst showering caused the shower to pause.

Nice cosy comfortable stay. Kitchen had everything you would need for self catering. Bath shower was also good with 24 hours hot water. The cottage was very clean and excellent.

Lovely old cottage, with history as it used to be the local shop, good central location for the Forest of Dean, lovely and clean and very helpful hoists, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return when in the area 👍

A beautiful location, incredibly close a stunning castle. The property itself exceeded expectations, was clean and welcoming with lots of space for two.
Amy was very helpful throughout our stay. We're looking forward to coming back again!

A lovely restaurant just up the road from the cottage.
Sofa was a little soft and the bed for our liking but otherwise it was lovely.

Only 5 miles from Ross on Wye so we could walk from there or directly from the property, so a very convenient location.
There seemed to be a problem with the heating, which didn't work in the bedrooms, so the property was not very warm, although the heated towel rail was permanently on in the bathroom, so that was the warmest room in the house.

Very clean and good quality fixtures and fittings. Nice cosy touches like blankets for the sofas & dressing gowns. Everything you could require for a short break in the kitchen and basics such as milk provided.
The check out time was a little early (10am) to feel relaxed on the last morning. Even half an hour later would allow you to not have to set an alarm.

The property was extremely clean with great facilities. The kitchen was well-equipped. The local pub was just a minutes walk away which is a prerequisite for us! Lovely meal too. The property was lovely and warm with plenty of hot water. Got a bit lost in the dark on the evening of pur arrival but the host was very helpful in directing us.
Personal preference but the bed was too soft for me. Missed a smart TV but the WiFi is good so you can watch through another device if necessary.

It was cosy and warm with everything that you needed from a self-catering cottage. .Nice touch to have a Christmas tree and some fairy lights too.

The location was wonderful (so much to do and see nearby) and easy to park outside. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the shower good and easy to use. I particularly liked the little shelving unit in the bathroom that gave plenty of space to put toiletries in.
There was a little extra step at the top of the stairs and another between the living room and the kitchen that we all stumbled over more than once. I think it would be helpful to make these steps more visible.

Loved our stay, property was super and we felt very comfortable, hosts had thought of everything, with outdoor seating area and extra amenities in the property which we enjoyed.
Location was perfect for visiting surrounding areas and nice spot.
I really would stay there again and hope to soon.

Excellent location for exploring the area. Well maintained and clean property
No village shop - not a big issue but be aware that a drive will be needed to pick up any needed groceries etc.

Really quiet private location - don't try to open the door to the 2 bedroomed cottage at the front like we did if you are in the one bedroomed cottage - head round the back 😄.
Excellent walks locally and great pubs nearby for evening meals & liquid refreshment.
