I really enjoyed my stay with my daughter (I notified the property manager that she would be joining me). Everything was great but I felt the air conditioning units could be updated to be more quiet.

We overall enjoyed our stay here. But the location was misrepresented on the map of the Turtle Beach resort area, on the VRBO site. I chose it over other condos nearby because it appeared to be the closest to the resort and the beach, but it wasn't at the indicated location. Nonetheless, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay there. The ground floor location was handy for carrying luggage in and out. The bed was comfortable, and it was useful having two bathrooms. We did have some difficulties getting the check in information and communicating with the owner-there seem to be several layers of administration at these units. Also, soon after arriving the washing machine malfunctioned and since it was the weekend, we couldn't access anyone to sort it out very quickly. But it was eventually resolved. We enjoyed the nearby outdoor pool, and sitting out on the little patio outside the living room. The airconditioning was good in the bedroom, but we had to leave it on constantly in the living room in order for it to be comfortable. It's a handy location for exploring the north shore, and a good alternative to the exorbitantly priced for Turtle Beach resort. Additionally, we were able to enjoy some of the facilities at the resort, such as bike rental, trails and excellent restaurants. I would recommend this place for convenience and comfort.

I wrote this as an overall 1, not because of the unit, which was excellent but the despicable lack of service by the booking agent Red Awning. The code to the access the unit never came through by email. I got the code for the gate and assumed that must do both, which it didn't. They made it almost impossible to contact human to get Help. I was directed to chats where nobody replied, the web site which provided no details of the code when I signed in, then they gave a number to call, so I had to go through the call menu twice to get back there to write it down. This number supposedly contacted a person but in fact just rang out, three times. Then I found an email with another number. This gave me an office closed recording, after again having to call in twice to write it down, it was 4- o'clock in the afternoon! It did then give an out-of-office number to call, which they read once quickly, so had to dial in again to write it down. this time we got a person who was very skeptical that we didn't get the email with the code but eventually let us have the code to get in the unit!

The condo was very nice and well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the 15-20 minute walk to the beach. Everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay. Very convenient to everything on the North Shore. I would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing time staying at Turtle Bay Estates! Our place was extremely clean and well maintained. And we LOVED that it was within 10 min. of every beach on the North Shore! :)

My wife and I spent 2 weeks here and found the unit clean, well appointed and bug free. The rental staff was friendly and helpful in every way. The property is very close to great beachs, shopping and inexpensive golf at the Kahuku golf course. All in all a wonderful place to stay and would recommend it for anyone.

I never stay anywhere but at the Estates at Turtle Bay & that has been about 10 times in the last 6 years. Originally born & raised on Oahu I can honestly say whether you are a visitor or local wanting to get away for a few nights, the Estates offer a very nice, quiet, relaxing paradise. The units are well furnished with linens, dishware and TV's/internet. This particular unit was a big hit with me. It provided everything I needed including a rice cooker and with 2 bathrooms you can't go wrong. A beautiful side of the island with the best beaches as far as I am concerned and if you have any concerns the off site management are always willing to help.

Our condo was not fancy, but it was clean and comfortable and a great location on the North Shore, only a five minute walk to the beach and much more mellow than other parts of the North Shore during surf season.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was no wifi. They had the router out in the open but no passwords to get on that bad boy. Overall it was solid.

Great stay at Turtle Bay Condos. We Loved Lei Lei's for local food as service, quality and price of food and wait staff were a far supperior value of that in the "hotel".The off location site of the management office was a bit of a hassle, but everything worked oout well. We will klnow better now. Thanks so much!Very funny to watch siding repair on another unit. What should have been a day and a half job turned into a week plus of work! Must have been a union job. Hate to pay that bill!We had so much fun, so much to do, and loved being being away from the "big City." Thanks for a great stay!

The rental had everything we needed down to beach towels and boogie boards. The beach at Turtle Bay was a short walk and it was great for snorkeling and hiking the shore. The location was great for exploring more of Oahu, everything was a short drive. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental for your next stay.

Very nice property grounds and well cared for. Loved that there was an adult only pool. The security answered the gate phone with "What do you want?" This was before we had our gate fob.The cable TV was awful and the furniture was unkindly uncomfortable except for the bed. It was well stocked with kitchen utilities but the fridge was outdated. We did not cook anything during our seven night stay. There was only air conditioning in the bedroom but with the front door and rear patio screens and ceiling fans there was a nice flow of air through this ground floor room.We will be back in the near future but will choose an upgraded unit with comfortable furniture. Our average was about $125 per night which was excellent.

The stay was great as always did not like the extra $100.00 charge when our baby siting fell through and we had to bring our two young children. We stayed there six months earlier and were not charged that fee.

This rental was definitely the way to go. Very close walk to turtle bay but half the price. We used the pool and beach at turtle bay resort everyday and walked to get iced coffee there every morning. Rental is bigger than it looks in pictures. Two bathrooms was a great bonus and the bedroom is pretty large. My only recommendation would be to get a AC unit for the living area. We spend a lot of time in the bedroom because that was the only place with AC and it was VERY hot.

The condo was fairly large and had very nice island style furnature. it was in a super quiet location. the unit appeared to be very clean. one big issue was the cleaning crew or the previous renter had put something smelly in the trash which had attracted alot of small flies so when we wint in to the unit for the first we were concerned about this. we found the source and put the trash can outside and opened up all the windows and doors and the issue was resolved the first night. only the bedroom had an a/c and only the living room has a TV but it is nice new TV adn the a/c worked. the property is older but is well keptand has a nice older island style charm. we arrived late and had to check in with the security guard who was very helpful and polite. the unit had 2 bathrooms each with its own shower which was great for the one time everyone needed to be ready in a short amount of time. the unit came with a washer and dryer. overall my experience with 197west was great I would recommend to some friends and I would stay there again. I feel bad about mentioing the bugs because I am sure that is not how it usually is, but it did happen to me and I was with my wife so you can imagine she was upset upon first discovery. staying there was very very relaxing. I would say it was a very good value. thank you.

I have stayed at the Turtle Bay condos many times, and this unit was not my favorite. Pros: 1) it’s a Less expensive unit on this property. 2) I love the location of staying at the turtle Bay condos. 3) It’s clean. 4) The king bed was VERY comfortable. Cons: 1) This unit does not sit on the golf course, so no great views. 2) There is no AC in the living room, and air flow in this unit is not strong. If someone stays on the pull out couch they will want AC!! 3) This is a bottom floor unit and you can clearly hear loud walking and doors open/close upstairs. 4). The property management company works banker hours so our WiFi was never working and finding/entering our unit was VERY frustrating - and there’s no one to ask for help. And the app they try to push you to is DUMB and never worked. 5) The parking stall was a bit far which became tiresome with luggage and daily hauling beach gear n such. There are many other units I’ve enjoyed better; I would not recommend this one.

197 is a nice unit, fairly clean, but outdated fixtures. ( ie old faucets, tubs etc.) Great place to stay if you are out for the day, but the view from the patio is of garbage dumpsters. They stage them on the access road behind the condo, the truck picks them up around 6:30 a.m., then they redistribiute the dumpsters throughout, with the tractor. The next day is the recycles, then the compostable dumpsters, each day, there was activity. This is why the price of the condo is what it is. Not disatisfied, but would have paid up to be on the golf course

We loved our condo. It was small but was adequate for what we needed which was a place to sleep and eat. It was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We had been warned about the trash bins outside but I wass still surprised that every morning the trash people worked with all the complexes trash for hours outside our front door. Seems like they could find a better place to do that! Otherwise we enjoyed oue stay!

We were attending a wedding at Turtle Bay and for half the price of the resort hotel rooms, we had our own condo. We saved so much money cooking for ourselves, having a place for our local friends to visit,do our own laundry, ect.Checking in was easy, checking out we had to drive a few miles and were late to the plan for that;)As far as the condo, it could use some love. It was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, towels, etc, but the shower curtain smelled terribly moldy and one shower could not even be used due to a poor shower head. The other tub would fill as you shower from a clogged drain.The screen door in the back was completely off the track and just propped against the glass door. When I tried to iron my dress the cord started popping and sparking from a cut in the cord. So simple improvements with some attention.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place is exactly as described. Location is perfect if you have a rental car as we did. Problems:The air conditioning is only in the bedroom as stated. We tried to blow some of the cold air to the living area but it barely made it there. If you want to cook then the entire place heats up. The dryer vents INTO the apartment which I didn’t realize until I had already washed a load of clothing. We were lucky that we found the security guard on the first day as the gate code we were given did not work. Pros:Central for driving around.Spacious enough for 4 people 2 bathroomsCute poolGreat security people Quiet at night.

This was a wonderful area to spend some relaxing time! I was very pleased with the property and the overall location! The only downfall we had was that we did not get to utilize the room as much as we wanted to because we had to evacuate due to the Tsunami!however i loved it and will def come and stay again!

We were pleasantly surprised with how nice this place was for the price. It was around half the cost of the hotel and had a kitchen. We cooked many meals to save costs and they had provided all of the necessary pots, pans, utensils, etc. to accommodate us. When I go back to HI I will definitely stay in one of these condos.

The a/c in the bedroom is noisy, living room is warm with no a/c. Upstairs resident appears to have a child who is constantly running. Teeny ants on dining table. Unit was nice and clean and overall very pleasant.

The location is great for North Shore which is so much prettier than Honolulu/Waikiki area. The rental staff was very helpful with their after hours call. But be sure to pick up keys early I arrived at 4:02 at their office after I had called and everybody had left. The condo has very old living furniture and not comfortable to come relax on after a long day. The pull out was more uncomfortable than usual. The description says that the whole unit has A/C. It only has one A/C in the bedroom than cannot cool off the rest of the house so their description is wrong. They threaten to come turn off the a/c when you are out but it would be the only way to keep the room cool. There are no trade winds that come into the condo when I opened the doors. If you use the w/d the whole house heats up and cannot be cooled down again. There is no TV in the bedroom where the A/C is at. No DVD player in the living room. The price is great, nice for 2 people that will sleep comfortably in the master bedroom but if taking kids they will be very unhappy in the living room. Pools were being serviced while we were there so we never checked those out.

Location was perfect for launching day trips around the island. It was in a quiet location which made it nice to relax. The condo was well stocked but the sheets and towels were stained and dirty looking. We needed to clean them before we felt we could use them.

I wish that the property description had honestly said that the property had parking lot on both sides (no view). Upstairs neighbors did laundry at 1am as well. Furniture needs fixing and sheets should be replaced as there was obvious blood stains on them.

cleaning fees were too high. $90? It would take 1/2 hour to clean the unit and I doubt you pay your cleaning staff $180 an hour. A few ants, but I geuss that is to be expected. Please fix the locks on the front door. There should be a working deadbolt and handle lock, as is standard on every home. Travelers have alot of expensive things and I found myself being quite nervous when I was away from the condo. A little safe to put valuables in would be helpful. I will likely not stay in the condo complex again. 2 nights ended up costing almost 500 dollars. I could have spent a little more and stayed at turtle bay. Or 1300 for week long all inclusive package including flight at a 5 star on wakiki.
