I understand the lack of power due to the hurricane was out of your control. However, the state and condition of the vacation home is totally in your control and was absolutely unacceptable, unsanitary and unsafe. In addition you false advertised what I was getting. When we first arrived the entirety of the downstairs are was trashed. The previous occupants had a party and your cleaning crew failed to clean it up. There were beer cans, box's, bottles and various trash all over. I called and wrote your mgt company and they said that they would send out the cleaning crew to attend to it. The cleaning crew did not arrive until the next day. And they DID NOT clean it up, all they did was ask us if we were checking out and when we said not at that moment they left without addressing the issue. We had to clean it ourselves. Also when we first arrived we could barely open the door to get in. There was a pile of window shingles blocking the door on the inside. There was literally a pile of about 60 of them in the middle of the floor inside the home. Next we had no working toilets. One bathroom had a toilet that had a broken tank, a hole at the bottom of it. Your company was aware that it was broken because you had turned the water off to the toilet so it would not flood the home. In addition your cleaning company did not clean it. In addition in t

Everything was great. I do recommend mosquito repellent!! They get horrible in the evenings. Other than that great trip!

Upon arrival, the house smelt clean!! That made me happy from the start. Everything was great! I do suggest new mattresses as you could feel the springs through them. Also, mosquitos are horrible! Bring spray! We rented a golf cart and explored the area! Really fun! Great place!

This is a nice house. It is further out than I thought. It is about 20 minutes from the businesses in Galveston proper. That’s not necessarily bad, just a little unexpected. Easy access to public beach.

The house is in a very nice neighborhood, quiet and peaceful with the beach right across the highway. A short 2 min drive. Plenty of beds for everyone and the two video games in the loft were a fun addition to entertain kids. The things that could be improved: all the windows in the living room need blinds because when the sun is setting it directly hits your eyes when you are watching tv or as you sit and chat with family on the sofa, there is no way around it because that is the only seating area. Comfortable bar stools because this is the only seating to eat in the kitchen, the current bar stools are hard metal, not easy to sit on. Additional TVs should be added in the rooms so guests can watch what they feel like watching, not just have one TV. There is an umbrella shown in the pictures that is provided for the deck, there was no umbrella available to provide any shade when sitting/eating outside. If these things could be improved it would greatly improve the experience.

This listing not only looks exactly like the pictures, it's also very cozy. The host was super nice and qiick to respond to messages. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and would recommend it to all looking for a place to stay.

It was perfect for me and my family. We will definitely be returning.
