Place was a little older and damaged than pictures showed, but it was still a nice stay.

Everything was as described and we greatly enjoyed our visit. Boat lift was definitely utilized. We enjoyed going out to eat on the boat and coffee on the screened balcony. Bunk beds were a little shaky but other than that everything was wonderful. Will visit again.

There was nine adults. The house was perfect. All couples had their own rooms and the cousins sleep in the bunkroom. Like a small family reunion. It was great. Just a big spend the night party. Every one wants to make it a yearly thing. Thanks

This was a perfect spot for our family. The unit was clean, plenty of space, the beds were comfortable and the porch overlooking the water was the icing on the cake. Are already thinking of planning a longer get away with our littles and maybe do some “on the water” activities.

My family and my sister's family rented this home to attend our nephew's wedding being held at Carter Planation. My mother and brother were directly across the waterway from us and my other brother was next to them. Everything was very nice. Being it was mid February and extremely cold the Friday we arrived we were not able to take advantage of downstair deck by the water. There is a fire pit but it was still really unseasonably cold! It is really a nice feature and would have been a blast to take advantage. It is perfect for a family gathering. We were only there for two nights but would do it again if we ever needed to be in the area again. I definitely recommend this place. The owners were extremely helpful and very nice. Check in was a breeze too!

We loved the Tickfaw River and this property because it had a seperate boat house with screened in porch for entertaining, in addition to a three bedroom huge house. On the first floor is a grill and another sitting area to visit. The property is large and has lots of areas to congregate. The property was stocked with supplies. We loved this place and the host was great.

This house was perfect for a Thanksgiving family reunion. We live in Houston and my parents live in Hammond. We wanted some place near Hammond that could house my daughter and family from San Diego and my son from Austin. The house was very spacious and clean and had all the amenities we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Our trip was great and the property was really nice. The boat house was perfect for watching football with 2 TV's and a nice bar. The downstairs cooking area was also a great place to hang out and cook with out friends.
