More or less everything was fine

Hostel Rest is only at ground level, no stairs. The breakfast was excellent for my liking. Every morning I’ll have with my breakfast about 3-4 cups of fruity tea ready made in a big pot. All staff was helpful. Their restaurant/kitchen staff didn’t knew much English, but we managed to communicate well. The reception staff were knowledgeable in English language, helpful and flexible. There was a little kitchen like with cups, cutlery and plates in the main hallway next to the reception that we could make extra cup of coffee or tea, etc. . Also they had quiet zone/time between 22:00-06:00..so it was nice and quiet overnight. Showers 🚿 had amazing pressure: a bonus for me. Little fridge and a telly in the good sized room too. Special mention for Ania from reception: she was always very helpful & flexible. Booked the early mornings taxi too to take us back to the airport. I did a lot of walking and the neighbourhood felt safe and calm. Local transport(buses and trams), not far, so walking to/from not a problem. Tram stops a bit further. Note 📝, if/when walking, try to stay on the pedestrian side and don’t suddenly mode/change directions sideways as there were lots of cyclists and electric scooters speeding up and down. I liked Krakow and will definitely like to go back there again and if Hostel Rest comes up available I’ll not hesitate to book my place at theirs.

The room was clean. The staff was really kind.

The location was not the best. But there was a bus station in front of the hostel and also it takes twenty minutes on foot to the tram station which you can reach the city center by using it.

The stay was great overall. The room was comfortable and perfectly clean. Location is not the best, but the bus stop right in front of the hostel makes everything easy. Staff were absolutely polite and very helpful.

The wifi was a little weak at room number 3.

Comfortable bads, shower, fridge. Friendly staff.

It was a bit cold in the late evening and heater didn't work. There was no a hair dryer in the room.

Good location to get to tours if you have a car.

Other guests smoking at the door of the hallway. Corridor smelled of cigarettes.

For a hostel this was a really nice room, 2 separate rooms with 3+2 beds in fact behind the one door. Wifi was working well, it was quiet enough place. It was possible to get food for dinner as well (pizza and maybe something more). The receptionist spoke English. There was a fridge in our room. Bolt taxi to city center cost 3.5Eur only.

A bit cramped, but really cannot complain. There was a grasshopper in our room which we managed to get out - maybe got in through the window as everything is on the first floor. Some other guests were smoking in front of our building with open doors to the hallway, so all the hallway smelled like smoke. The pizza place closed soon after we arrived.
