The Landing was excellently equipped and very comfortable for our family group. The location was perfect, very accessible for the sea, high street and canal path walks. Previous reviews had mentioned the beds, we all found them extremely comfortable. Easy accessible parking, meant we could park up for a few days and walk to enjoy the highlights of Hythe. We would be very happy to return to The Landing.

Parking access is a little tight and would be challenging with a bigger car. Shower is a little tired.

House was very clean and everything you needed was available Lisa the housekeeper even got us a DVD player thank you so much

Sofas could be more comfortable

Very good location in town centre next to a very good pub/restaurant. Nice large lounge area, good kitchen. Good that there are four bedrooms. The two larger bedrooms are a very good size.

Key safe was a little tricky to use. Aware that we could park on drive in front of garage but not sure whether we could use the garage to store a car as we had two cars with us. Rang the contact number given and told that we could use garage. Garage door difficult to open but was guided by contact person. Looks like there is an electric door opener installed but not operable. Garage will only take a small car as quite a few items in Garage take up space. Although two toilets and handbasins only one bath/shower. Can be some early morning noise with refuse collection and deliveries to nearby pub.

location very convenient in town centre, close to canal & sea front. very comfortable bed, hot water and applicances all worked. Very clean. Nice big settee with recline end.

A few small/medium lidded pyrex dshes that can be put in the microwave would be helpful. As there were only two of us we only cooked small protions of veg, a litle bit of bacon etc and it seemed a bit wasteful using a number of hob rings and/or the oven - as well as creating bulky saucepans pans & grill pan to wash up!

Home from home feel . Every single thing was in the property to enable us to enjoy our stay. Ideal location in centre of town and only 5 minutes walk from the sea
