Location was superb. Overlooking the sea and mountains and most of all is the amazing sunset. It gives me the feeling of serenity.

Best place to stay if you want to go to falasarna beach or balos or elafonisi beach. The hosts are very nice and they make delicious breakfast which you can eat while you enjoy a breathtaking view. The rooms are big and super clean. You can park your car in front of the door and there is a tavern next to the hotel. We will definitly come back.

The internet had continued problems, and it would stop working after a few hours, then we would need to contactthe owners and then from the beginning. As I had a a lot of work to do, and I needed the internet, this was a major dissapointement.

The kitchen has everything needed to cook dinner and there’s an amazing view on the balcony, very clean bathroom

The view! On the balcony I spent beautiful moments on the sunset and delighting me with a cold beer. I liked the fact that the next day I was at the reception and explained that I slept in very bad conditions because of the heat and asked for a second card key to leave the first (key) in the switch At the entrance, in order not to turn off the air conditioner and have a constant room temperature when we came in the evening at the beach. And the man who knew English, understood the reason that we did not want to go through another terrible night like that by which I had just passed and agreed to hold a row of card keys in the socket, permanent. Cleaning. Respect for the lady who cleans daily.

I did not like the balcony / terrace there is no umbrella or the other formula to have a little shadow, because after 12 o'clock, the sun beats directly. I didn't like irresponsible warmth in the room when we arrived, because there were 45 degrees in the room and we had to stay at night and that night in a terrible warmth so that the conditioner does not change the temperature. Only in the morning was a bit cooled. I did not like the pressure water flowed and when we did, we prayed to flow more, to wash. They probably made a saving, not to consume much water. I did not like when you go, it wet all the bathroom and is the level difference between where you do - is above - and the rest of the bathroom, and then it is slippery on the sand bath. Dangerous! I did not like the kitchenette, which is very small. I did not like the furniture because it is old, kitchen utensils are old, very used and degraded. I did not like the indifference of the hosts. It is among the few accommodations in which I felt treated as a hotel - where everything is cold and impersonal. In most accommodations in Greece, we found the heat and smile of the Greeks. Here, people were very bored and full of them, or maybe so it seemed to me, probably because they were sure of the beautiful view of the sea and the beach.

Perfect location for Falasarna beach, not more than 5 minutes by car. I suggest to either go to the main beach if it is too windy, or try the smallish ones 2 minutes up the road if it is a calmer day. The breakfast is perfect, fresh made omelettes and cakes, whatever you prefer, twice if you are hungry. our room had a little balcony with a very instagrammable view of the sunset. nearby I suggest booking beforehand at Spilios, asking for a table at the edge of the patio. if you are directed south towards Elafonisi, I'd suggest not following the signs carrying you to the main road, driving down the coastal road instead, it is a little bit narrower endeavour but the views are A+ and you'll find roadside taverns worth stopping by

The studio was large immaculate and tastefully furnished. It had a good sized balcony with panoramic views over the olive groves to Falasarna Beach. You could get breakfast and it was delicious.

Me and my partner spent 7 nights at Roubini during the ‘not-so-popular’ pandemic restricted travel period, end of August - beginning of September. Before we landed we were afraid we will not be able to enjoy the holiday at its fullest due to the virus restrictions imposed. The cleanliness of the place was incredible, not only the room itself but the garden, patio and all surroundings were pristine as well. Never felt exposed or stressed neither had the feeling of abnormally during our stay. The friendliness of the staff felt very sincere, they’ll make sure you feel safe and taken care of. We felt incredibly welcomed and pampered , we wish we had the possibility to extend the holiday by a few days. All rooms have a stunning view over the Falasarna bay. It’s a pure pleasure to spend time on the balcony during any time of the day. No matter if it’s early morning or sunset time you’ll be simply amazed by the landscape . There’s plenty of choices for sunbathing as the nearby beaches are only 5 mins away driving from the hotel. As the hotel is placed up on the hill walking to and from the beach can be quite a challenge even if the distances don’t seem much of a problem. If you’re not incredibly fussy there’s a reasonable tavern 2 minutes away, simply a walking distance. A nicer place to eat is located near the harbor, also just 5-7 mins away driving. Some people mentioned in their reviews about the not so soft beds but we actually quite enjoyed the firmness of our bed, it rewarded us with very profound and refreshing sleep every night. All over , out stay at Roubini was excellent, would highly recommend this place due to its outstanding views, great service, value and surroundings, west Crete is simply amazing.
