Very convenient to driving to the historic downtown area, about 10-15 minutes. Layout was great for our group of 4. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the road leading to the home is a bit sketchy, but it was very quiet at night and we loved sitting on the back porch!

All was well on the inside. The neighborhood isn’t the greatest and the constant smell of sewage was apparent on the outside of the whole street. But we didn’t spend time outside there. The downtown square area was wonderful! Lots of shops and eating choices.

The house is beautiful and clean. We had no problems and enjoyed our stay. It was a great location to the wedding we were attending and the cute historic downtown area. We had a great family time.

Perfect location to stay for daughter’s wedding at nearby Rosemary Barn. Very clean and spacious for our extended family. Large kitchen and living room and comfortable bedrooms. As other reviewers have said, the surrounding neighborhood can be off-putting at first sight, but we felt completely safe and private. Could not have been more pleased with this home.

The home was great for the six of us. I would make sure the door code is changed each time guests come. One of my cousins accidentally went the weekend before our reserved time, and our code worked for that weekend as well. The code should be changed! Also, there was no soap in the showers. The neighborhood was sketchy and smelled like the sewer. But the house inside was really nice!

The house inside was very nice with all new improvements. The area can be a little unsettling if you aren't use to being in the country or surrounded by commercial properties, but I would definitely recommend this house if you are coming to McKinney to shop the downtown area. Only a few miles away!

This property is even more beautiful than the pictures. It was clean, well stocked, easy to locate and has a lovely kitchen.
The only thing I would say was not the best was the back yard has many holes (hard to see) and when the children were playing football my grandson fell in one of the holes and cut his knee. The lifesaver was a well stocked first aid kit.
All in all it was the best stay ever! Even with the rain and cool temperatures (nobody’s fault).

Listing/House is exactly as pictured on website, all amenities are exactly as mentioned. We were in town for my daughter's wedding, my family really enjoyed our stay, it is an excellent get a way location, very private. Rooms/beds are excellent. I highly recommend this listing, would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location
Perfect location for our daughters wedding. Less than a mile to venue and super close to McKinney square. House is newly renovated. Plenty of room clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. House supervisor was vet accommodating. Allowed us to stay later day after wedding and even let us go in and preview to make sure there was enough room for daughter and five bridesmaids to get hair done day of wedding. Was perfect for us.

Wedding weekend
This was the perfect house for our needs. We needed a place for our family of five plus significant others to stay for daughters wedding. Location was so close the venue and to McKinney square. When you first turn on street you might be concerned because of the businesses that are there but the house is quiet has been newly renovated and it’s very quiet around the house so don’t let your initial reaction keep you from booking. The house manager was awesome and let us preview house to see if it would work for our daughter and bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done day of wedding and let us stay late the day after. Highly recommend

Great experience
We enjoyed our stay- close location to downtown McKinney- just a short drive for shopping. Enough bedrooms and beds for our girls weekend - comfy beds, tasteful decor, clean linens and spacious all around!
If I had to make a recommendation I would add more cooking utensils: spatula, extra cookie sheet and another pot- Bc we cooked a lot but we made do with what was available! Basic foil and Saran would have been nice as well. We loved the large kitchen!
