Gorgeous is a spot on description of this property! The level of detail and thoughtfulness that went into the layout and design is very impressive. The hosts, Terry F. and Terry T. made us feel very welcome, communicated with us timely and were very accommodating. We had an opportunity to introduce ourselves, but they were very respectful of our privacy. The direct access to the river was beautiful. They also recommended some local spots for us to try. Everything we could have needed for our stay was available; from a stocked coffee bar to individual makeup remover pods (very important for us ladies!) My only regret is that my husband and I were not able to stay longer!

Terry and his wife were very accommodating and were perfect hosts. They were full of information and their casita had everything you could think of when staying out of town. It was meticulously maintained and was the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed at. Highly recommend staying here and plan on staying many more times.

This property had it all! Convenient location, river access, high-end amenities that met all of our needs, luxurious shower and comfortable mattresses. Terry was an attentive, kind host. He showed us around the casita and explained how to easily access the electronics. He even mailed back something we’d left behind. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

The casita is beautiful, clean, comfortable, relaxing, and stocked with everything you will need. It’s perfectly located-not in the middle of noisy/busy Gruene but close enough to walk. We enjoyed relaxing campfires and the beautiful surroundings by the river. Terry and Terry were the best hosts! They had excellent recommendations, checked in on us daily and went above and beyond with accommodating all our needs. We can’t wait to return!

Terry and Terry were the best hosts I have ever encountered over the years I have traveled. They were accessible, responsive, respectful, and accommodating. The location is ideal for spending time in Gruene. Park your car at the Casita and walk to several great restaurants, and music venues including the infamous Gruene Dance Hall. Plenty of fun shopping just a short walk away. Terry gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants, fun shopping and Fredericksburg wineries….. all of which were spot on! They even surprised my friend with a delicious birthday cake and balloons upon our arrival. The home is immaculately decorated and clean…… Great backyard oasis to enjoy a peaceful afternoon along a lazy river. There is nothing more important that I can say regarding our wonderful stay except THANK YOU!

This past weekend, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at this house located on the river. Having rented numerous homes, I can confidently say this property stands out for all the right reasons. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the home was nothing short of perfection. It’s clear that the owners prioritize a pristine environment, which made our arrival and entire stay exceedingly comfortable. The house was also remarkably well-equipped. From kitchen essentials that catered to every culinary need to cozy, comfortable bedrooms that promised a good night’s sleep, the attention to detail was evident. The living spaces, were designed with relaxation in mind, making it easy for us to unwind and enjoy our time together as a family. Its location deserves a special accolade. Nestled along the scenic river, the house offered both the tranquility of a riverside retreat and the convenience of being close to the vibrant town of Gruene. This unique positioning allowed us to enjoy walks and explore the local area without having to fuss about parking and driving. What truly distinguished our stay, however, was the unparalleled hospitality we received. Upon arrival, we were greeted with cupcakes from our host. This thoughtful gesture was a first in our extensive experience of renting homes and spoke volumes of the host’s dedication to providing an exceptional guest experience. In every aspect, our stay was outstanding. For a family of four, perfect room and bed set up!

Gruene Livin’ Casita was a gem! So happy we chose this property. It was modern, but so cozy with all of the Christmas touches. We loved the unique coffee bar, modern appliances, decor, and layout of the unit. A lovely view of the pristine Guadalupe River from the patio. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch at nighttime too. Walking distance to Gruene Hall, stores and restaurants. A truly relaxing experience. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

We are local but had family stay at the casita for the week of Thanksgiving. The hosts allowed me to get into the casita early to leave food and toys. It was a perfecf location for us. I already have it booked for our next visitors! Great experience!

We felt like we were in a Hallmark movie from the time we arrived at the casita until we left. Terry was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The casita itself is a perfect place to stay for an unforgettable experience in a truly special place. We can't wait to return!

My wife and I just completed a 3+ week trip - this was absolutely the best stay of the entire trip. Its rare that you find a place where the owner has poured their heart into things... but, the owner did here... everything was simply perfect. We were there 4 nights, and I heard daily from my wife -- "they thought of everything" ... this place is special, and I hope that our travels take us back to the Gruene area and that we can stay again.... awesome hosts, awesome property... awesome stay - ... lastly, my wife has already ordered the same linens they had, and I feel sure we will be ordering the same mattress in the near future... great stay, great sleep! Book this property, you will not regret it. Just take care of the place, it is special.

We had the BEST stay at this casita! The listing and pictures were just the way things were in reality! BEAUTIFUL and Terry was the most gracious host! The casita was so convenient to everything that we wanted to do while visiting Gruene and the back porch was a nature's oasis! We even saw deer eating on our last morning while enjoying coffee and smores for breakfast! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The casita is a short walk to Gruene. The river is right out back, and everything you need is there. Great communication with Terry and Terry! While everything was wonderful, the cleanliness of the property was something we noticed instantly and made our stay so comfortable!

This was hands down the most clean and organized rental I've ever stayed in. The soft and comfortable bedding, huge beautiful walk-in shower, Right down to the fixtures, everything is top notch quality and nicely done. Our family of four never felt cramped and really enjoyed the golf cart rental which made the scoot into town way more fun. Loved being a one minute drive from downtown Gruene, coffee shops, tons of shopping, Rockin R, etc. The river access out back is a dreamy, relaxing view and a unique spot with a nice yard to camp out for the day. We can't wait to go back next year.

This was hands down the best VRBO my family and I have after stayed at. The owners are amazing people who provided us with a warm welcome and great information on food and shops to hit while staying at the casita. The casita is top-notch and stunning. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The casita is gorgeous and has high-end finishings and decor. The best part is this amazing property is in the most ideal spot for a Gruene, Texas, vacation. The property has the best river location of all the properties that we saw while floating on the river. The casita is located just beyond a rapid, which your kids can walk to and float down over and over, but also has a beach stile entry into the river where swimming is easy! Even better, the property is located so that you can easily (less than 5-7 minutes) walk to all of the charming shops and restaurants in downtown Gruene! My family even walked to the Rockin’ R tube rental to float the river and it was a very easy walk. I cannot say enough great things about this property, its location, and its amazing owners. We are already planning on going back! Book it, you will not regret it!

We took a trip to Texas Hill Country with our sons who are both in college. This was the second part of our trip so we had time to wash clothes and regroup until heading to our third destination. We had a great time at the Casita! It is the perfect location! We were able to take a short walk to downtown Greune. This place is immaculate, the communication with both Terrys was very quick and helpful. It had everything we needed. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, and snacks!!!!! The grill worked great and our steaks were perfect. Having river access right behind the Casita was great. Thank you so much for having us!

We booked our trip for a quick little family of four getaway for my husband‘s birthday. This was absolutely perfect and just what we needed. The house was so ideally located just a three minute walk to Gristmill and downtown shops ,coffee, shopping, breakfast and yummy dinners. The house was absolutely immaculate. The pictures online do not do it justice because every little detail is absolutely beautiful clean and well thought out. They had absolutely everything we needed and then some! The beautiful view of the water on the property was gorgeous & we loved all the wildlife, we loved being on the water we loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were. my girls 13 &15 even though are not used to sharing a room really liked the little bunk bedroom. The shower is amazing and now I’m ready to remodel at home. We can’t wait to come back!

The Gruene Livin' Casita was perfect for our family of 4. The casita is easy walking distance from Gruene Hall and had access to the Guadalupe river at the back of the property. Everything was very clean and comfortable with lovely furnishings and thoughtful amenities for the guests! We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly!

We had a wonderful time and the Casita is absolutely fabulous. You could definitely walk to the shops in Gruene. Property was clean, cute and comfortable. Would stay again if we ever visit Gruene again. Terry was the best host.

My Fiancé and had a short stay in Gruene and we chose this property. The Host was very helpful, well before arrival and then throughout the stay. The house was very well appointed, and the host went well above the "standard". There we so many little, well thought out, inclusions, from the Keurig coffee options to the make-up cleaning towelettes. Wi-Fi and TV access were super easy, and the place was spotless...very clean. To fishing out, The Host took it upon himself to use his own car cover to cover my car at 3:00 AM because of hail in the area! Location was a short walk to the central Gruene shopping and music venue areas. Best Rental I ever had!
