We celebrated my Daughters Bday and have a wonderful weekend! House location and the views were perfect and beautiful. House had everything we needed with a cozy family feel and fun back yard amenities for all ages. We can hardly wait to come back again.

Everyone at Avant was nice and very helpful. We had a great family time and enjoyed every minute. Check in and check out was easy and planning to keep an eye on this place for future Big Bear visits.

House is in a great location and great setting. Older but in pretty good shape. Great for a large family as there is plenty of space. However, we checked out Aug 2nd and we were told Aug 4th they were refunding our deposit that day and that we should see it within 1-3 days. We have yet to see it.

We had a great time. Check in process was rough. I felt they could’ve been more accommodating given our circumstances. However, overall it was a great experience.

It was amazing time and the house was awesome our kids love the area. Location was the best close to everything. We will book again in the future.

We were with our large family ages from 3 - 60 years and every one of them enjoyed the stay , the house was clean and warm, hot tub ready to use , we did not find any issues , at first we thought the frig is not working but within the hours it came to right temp. Many thanks to property managers and Wow rentals for a great work , just keep in mind we are coming back the same house in August

The 2 nights that we were there was wonderful! The snow was beautiful and so was the lake behind the house with a nice view. The rooms were spacious and clean. Would come back again.

Great property for families with kids! The house was very inviting when we walked in with music playing on the TVs. The house was very clean. There is plenty of space for the kids to play outside. There were a lot of conveniences such as USB port in the outlet, wireless phone charging stations on the base of the lamps in the bedroom, lots of areas to sleep including pull out couches, extra blankets, extra trash bags, lots of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and plenty of towels. The hot tub was great! TV’s in every room. We had a great time and would come again!

Overall, we enjoyed staying at the classic lake house. There were a couple issues, mostly with the rental company, that if addressed could have made a good stay, fantastic. First, on the house - there is fantastic outdoor space with a swingset and lake access. The kids loved the bunk bed room and it was nice to have the master bedroom downstairs but also have the option for a adult room on the same level as the bunk bed room. It’s a fun house for kids and would be a great house to share with another family when Covid restrictions are lifted. We visited during a snow storm and our kids had so much fun in the backyard playing in the snow - it’s really an ideal set up for that. A couple areas where we had some issues - the TV on the main room didn’t work. We wanted to watch a family movie one night and crowded into the smaller secondary living room. We never used the beautiful big room because of this. We raised the issue with the rental company and received a couple obvious suggestions - turn the tv off and on, unplug and replug the HDMI cable - that didn’t work. We never heard any more solutions or offers to fix it. The kitchen has everything you need but the pots/pans are all very old. We had a big snow storm during our visit. There are multiple big garages on the property but renters can’t use any of them. We got over a foot of snow and ended up spending a lot of our vacation shoveling our car from the snow. Would have been great to be able to put the car in a garage. The driveway is a small hill and we couldn’t leave the driveway until the snow plow came. In a desperate attempt to get out we snapped the chains on our car and then became completely stuck. We notified the rental company of our problem and with the snow still coming down we told them we were worried about getting out the next day in time for check-out. The response was checkout is at 11. No understanding that we were stuck and no help in problem solving. The day of check out we asked for the driveway to be plowed so we could get out in time. Long story short the plow didn’t come in time so we had to shovel ourselves out (again) and pay a massive amount of money for a local auto body shop to deliver us chains since we couldn’t get out of the unplowed driveway to get to the auto body shop. We felt totally left on our own with no understanding from the rental company.. We figured it out but we spent the majority of our vacation shoveling which was disappointing.
