We loved this place! Two of my grown kids live in big cities and they wanted to get away from it all and this fit their desires! It is remote so bring food! The game room was so nice with the pool table and huge TV. On a practical note, 4.5 bathrooms really helped our party of 8! Mornings on the sun porch were delightful! Everyone wants to go back next year!

I can’t say enough about this property we had the most amazing time with all of our kids and grandkids! Each family had there own room with a bathroom in there we weren’t on top of each other had lots of room for everyone! We had a little issue with the AC they had someone there within an hour to fix it ! The view was spectacular! I highly recommend this property the host was the best !

Easy check in. View is Great. My son and I went riding SXS had a great time manager left suggestions where to ride. Not to far from town. Also if you forgot something Dollar Store right down road which we had to go to. Son loved the big bean bags and the kids area. Had marshmallows by the fire. Our fur babies did well also. Pictures very accurate. All in all great getaway. Plus for those who are tech people cell phone and internet worked great.

This trip was the most amazing trip. The cabin was perfect and so much more than we expected. Everything was so clean and supplied so well. The owners have went above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing vacation. The creek is the ultimate excursion. The beds were so comfy! And the bean bag chairs!! Wow. Can’t say enough positive about this place. I will be booking this one again soon!

It was more than what we had expected. House was big enough for multiple families to each have their own space. Plenty of common areas for activities. Location is faraway from the hustle and bustle of the crowded towns, but still within distance if you needed to go to town. Bring everything you need including grocery's because it is secluded.

We had a great 3 day weekend at this cabin and it was everything and more than you could ever ask for. The views, the cleanliness, how the cabin is equipped and the host hospitality. Doesn’t get any better and we highly recommend!

This was our second stay at this house. It is beautiful, spacious, plenty of land and has everything you’ll need. It is close enough to go to Hochatown and Broken Bow. I’ll regret it if I never make it back to Smithville!

We had such an amazing stay, and the backyard view is just breathtaking. It felt very nostalgic to give the swingset a go. Even though it rained the whole weekend, the temperature was so perfect, we spent a lot of time outside. Every single one of us agreed, we would definitely stay again. The only thing we could think of that would have been very useful, is some sort of cleaning products. Granted, there's a cleaning crew included in the price, we still prefer to maintain leaving things spotless and how we found them. Nevertheless, it was truly an amazing stay and Id definitely return.

This property is a bit far from the Broken Bow / Hochatown crowds, but with as congested as the area has become, my family and I found the seclusion absolutely perfect. There’s plenty of trails around the property, lots of yard for kids to play, and ample space inside the beautiful home to keep everyone entertained. The drive is about 40 minutes north of Hochatown, so it is close enough if you want to rent a boat at Beavers Bend Marina or do other daytime activities, but it was always nice to get away from the crowds and traffic, and back to the quiet comfort of Cedar Ridge Lodge. Highly recommend.

The air conditioner was out in one of the rooms , it had two fans turn on when we first got there, when we talk to the property manager she sent a water cooler…she was unable to get a AC Tech to come and fix it. Also the internet would not work in the room above the garage.We are in the hospitality industry as well, we understand things happen but we also feel that at the nightly rate we should have been compensated more than $100

This vacation home was beautiful inside and out. Pictures do not do it’s justice as how beautiful this home was for us. Our family had a great time the week being there for the summer. We will definitely look into future bookings with them upcoming winters.

The house was amazing! The view was even better! If you want to get away from the busy life and be secluded in the middle of nowhere, this is the house to pick. It has everything you need to enjoy time away from all the chaos in this world. The only complaint I have is it would have been nice if the yard was mowed before we arrived. But other than that, our stay was amazing.

Great Christmas Vacation
We loved our trip here. Everything was a described. House was clean as well as the hot tub. We had a group that ranged from 3 on up. Hochatown is close and had fun things to do. Trent was helpful with all of our needs. We would rent this house again!

Wonderful family gathering
We so enjoyed our stay! Our family is scattered and this was the perfect house/location for us to be together for four days for Thanksgiving. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen is with even an air fryer!!!! We very much enjoyed the solitude of the area. The view is breathtaking. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Views From in and around the Cabin
The checkin process was very easy. The cabin was very neat and clean. That is lot of open space around the cabin. We played games and did outdoor barbecue. Will definitely be staying here again.

It was accommodating to my family's needs and served the purpose of our gathering. I was a bit worried when we arrived and encountered a pack of coyotes near the fire pit. We didn't have any encounters with any other wildlife the rest of our stay. The view from the backside of the cabin was beautiful to wake up to! I think the only thing that we lacked, was more time. Thank you! 🙂

Great Family Getaway
The road up made me a little nervous knowing my family was driving in at all hours of the day and night but all went well. My family had a great relaxing weekend away from home with the family. One set from Missouri, one set from Austin texas area, one set from Azle, one set from Odessa texas and my husband and I from Odessa. We did have to do some clean up and repairs while we were there because a few little things had problems. They were nothing we couldn't handle because I always have a tool box in my car. Weather was great and the purpose was to spend time with the family. All in all, we had a great time and plan on going again next year.

Great Cabin
Cabin is amazing, plenty of space for the whole family. Alot of outdoor space to play around. The view is awesome, some wild life animals to see early morning. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the room upstairs it was hot, the Ac unit didn't work. And there was alot of dog hair everywhere.

Great property that allows for relaxation, nice wooded location, access to the property is on an unpaved road but easily drivable.
Enjoyed the morning walks inside the property roads. Internet access is slow and spotty, phone signal with major US carriers is unreliable but this is exactly what I was looking for to relax.

Absolutely wonderful!
Multiple families came together for our elopement at the cabin. The view is breath taking. The cabin itself is everything and more. We had 12 people and a couple dogs. Plenty of room to space out. Cabin has everything you could need as well. Kids, dogs and adults were happy. Property manager is very responsive and helpful. There is not one thing I can think of that could have been better. All the way around it was a phenomenal weekend!

Breathtaking views as soon as you pull in the driveway. Love the layout of the home. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Great place to relax. We drove about 10 minutes and found a great place to fish and swim. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

We loved that the cabin is secluded. The view from the living room and the sun room is gorgeous. We were, however, very disappointed to find that there is no pool table, mesh screens on the sunroom windows, and no TV in the master bedroom. We were looking forward to playing pool in the game room. The pool table was the biggest reason for choosing this cabin so if that’s the reason you’re trying to book it, know that it is not there. We also didn’t like that we found screws and roach/bug traps that were very easily reachable to our young children during our stay.
