The property was very clean, and nicely appointed. The living room couch was very comfortable (which I often find is not the case in other rentals). My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the place. No charge for our pet, which we appreciated.

Quiet location. Great base for attending the Ut Shakespeare Festival. This is our second stay at The Fortress.

So peaceful! We originally picked Hurricane to stay, but realized it would be a little too warm so I looked for a place higher in elevation and am so happy to find this one! Our first day we explored around Cedar City and the next day went to Zion. After we returned each day we sat in the shade of the beautiful yard. We cooked all our meals in the home and nothing is missing. Thank you Gerardo for a perfect place to stay !

This is a newly remodeled, clean space with plenty of room. We stayed just one night, so we didn’t have a chance to use the well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is spacious with a very nice shower. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The location is great and there’s a lovely view. I look forward to staying here again.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at the property. Loved how updated and clean everything was and the kitchen was well-stocked. The laundry was also a nice feature. Gerardo was super prompt with communication and had great recommendations for the are too. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Cedar City.

This property was the nicest of all we stayed at during our 5 day trek to the east coast. The property was modern, clean. Roomy, and the backyard was absolutely beautiful and such a joyful place for our pups to run around such a great value, and very attentive, yet hands off owners who are looking out for your most comfortable stay. We loved the Fortress! Very clean, cozy the location is great. The hosts were amazing as well. My dog really loved the yard. having canyon park and walking trails across the street was way convenient. I think we found our new favorite place to stay when we do visit again.

Overall, the stay was great! Great location, close to the park trail, large garage / plenty of parking. Property is clean, quite, with a large patio.

Rental is in a quiet residential neighborhood with ready access to the downtown, to the Shakespeare Festival, and to the Dixie National Forest and Cedar Breaks. The unit is bright, airy, and spacious. Kitchen is fully equipped. The deck is pleasant for morning coffee or for sitting in the evening. Having a garage for your car is a bonus as the afternoons can get quite warm. My wife and I stayed here for four nights but it would be comfortable for a longer stay.

Clean and modern, access to paved walking trails essential during spring muddy times. Dog friendly with a fenced yard with grass. Our 2 dogs enjoyed stretching their legs and being off leash. Quiet neighborhood with a nice view of the red hills.

Great property, easy to get to, quiet, modern, and clean. Looks like a brand-new property. The entire transaction was simple and this is a great place to stay if you are visiting Ceder City or the surrounding parks. Highly recommended.

This home was everything we needed and then some. Beautifully modern aesthetics, with a cozy feel. The shower was amazing! Our host was very communicative throughout our entire stay. The views were fabulous. We will definitely reserve this space again.

Very nice property and close to SUU. Our dog enjoyed the fenced yard and we liked parking in the garage. It was a little tricky finding the Fortress as it is located directly behind another house.

Gerardo was an excellent host. The property was just as pictured, quiet, centrally located, and stylish.
The property is close to the Shakespeare Festival and downtown, which made traveling through the city an ease. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Cedar City.

Another great weekend at the Fortress
My wife and I had a fantastic weekend at this property. Clean, nice grass backyard for the pups. The park across the street has a small river running through which our pups enjoyed. Thanks again Geraldo

Responsive hosts, great pet friendly property
Very convenient location, nice walking trails nearby and also restaurants.
Property has a good sized garage that fit our large truck. Our dogs got to run around in the grassy fenced backyard.

Very clean, modern and comfortable.
Gerardo and Patty have put a lot of time and hard work into making this a very comfortable rental. They are great and easy to work with. Highly recommend for a 2 person getaway!
