Wanted to get away for the weekend in the snow. This house has it all. Brought the family up to Big Bear to spend some quality family time. House was very spacious and plenty of bedrooms for everyone. Was very clean and we all had a great time. Recommend this house and we will definitely book it again.

This location was a perfect getaway for our family vacation! We loved the backyard slope and wide open yard with the creek! We hope to come back and visit again to do our annual family vacation :)

This house was nice only bad thing was the beds were not made and restrooms were not clean , their was food in the fridge and basically we had to clean what was not clean

We had a great time at this place! Looks exactly like the pictures. No real complaints about the place. They didn’t have a wine opener but other than that, everything was perfect.

The cabin itself was a beautiful building on a gorgeous plot of land surrounded by trees. It was close to Big Bear village (about a 5-8 minute drive), and sitting by the fireplace at night was great and relaxing. The property managers were easy to work with and getting checked in was a breeze. However, there are some significant issues with the property itself that need to be addressed to justify the cost. 1. There are literally no butter knives in the kitchen. 8 sets of tongs, but 0 butter knives. Also only 3 dinner forks. 2. Several sets of blinds are broken and are stuck in place, some completely closed some half open. 3. Multiple dishes were dirty and needed to be cleaned before use. 4. The lamp closest to the front door has a frayed cord, exposing electrical wires. 5. One outlet in the middle bathroom is loose. I don't think it's dangerous, but still a big cosmetic flaw. 6. The carpet under the furniture didn't appear to be vacuumed and had trash in places. I saw a food wrapper under the living room TV's enetertainment center while doing a last check for any toys that could have gone under there. 7. The toy cabinet looked like it was hit by a tornado with all of the toy boxes in disarray and their contents spilled everywhere. 8. There were decorative tissue holders with no tissues in them. The paperwork provided at check-in said there would be no tissues or paper towels, but there were paper towels. The paperwork also said there would be detergent, but there wasn't any. 9. The large master tub had mold in and around the jets. 10. The fireplace tongs were broken, making it a little unsafe to tend to the fire. 11. The top bunk bed didn't have sheets on it, but just a comforter over the mattress pad. We had to hunt down the sheets and when we found them, they were just wadded up and shoved into the back of the closet.

The management company is communicative and helpful. The property was very clean! Quick e large plenty of room to spread out with our five adults and five kids. It looks like a log cabin outside and inside. I brought to but they had I stocked.. we used the washer and dryer. It is a good habit to drop your trash off each day when you go out to town. It's only minutes away so we did not have problems w ants. The big dining table was great for the plethora of board games we played. I called in the evening about the hot tub needing to be cleaned and they had a technician out the next day... The huge porch with the rustic swing was very relaxing. Quiet and lovely neighborhood. We will return.

My family of 6 adults 2 teens and 2 kids ages 3 & 7 stayed in this lovely cabin Aug 13th-15th, key pick up was fast and easy and cabin was not far from here. The cabin is more beautiful and spacious that pics can show and is just surrounded by trees, rocks, pine cones etc. Basics are supplied: hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels trash bags and lots of towels and extra bedding. Kids loved the rocking chair, rocking Bear and all the different play items in playroom. Teens enjoyed puzzles, jacuzzi, star gazing and all the photo ops around inside and out. Lots of dvds and TVs in rooms but who had time for that? We spent fun time going up and down those stairs and having coffee and drinks outside. Bike riding and walking is nice in this area. Beds were comfy and some rooms have fans for those hot days.The master is just lovely and quaint with a big bathroom and access to jacuzzi. It is pretty much close to everything as Big Bear is not that huge to drive around in. Less than 10 mins anywhere. As in a previous review the ants will come quick so do not leave anything opened on counters or table, ant spray provided. But keep an eye out once you see one put food away in fridge. Pots and pans are a bit worn out but we made do. No big pots though so bring if you make stews or spaghetti and maybe a pack of disposable forks. Lots of plates, cups, mugs though. Parking is a lil cramped if over 2 cars but still doable. Overall this is a great cabin and we look forward to staying here again. My family loved it!

Some mattresses need to be replaced. Lots of cob webs. Porch is not a wrap around. Lots of space. Big kitchen. 7-10 min drive to lake 5 min or less to city.

Plenty of room inside and out to relax and share meals with family. Quiet location. Would stay here again.

The Cabin was very spacious and had everything we needed! I would definitely stay here again. There are only two downsides that I experienced but they were minimal. The first was the parking. Although it fit 3 cars, if you wanted to drive to a nearby store, only the car on the outside was able to get out without moving the other two cars. Not a big deal tho. The other thing was that there was a lot of ants that would appear out of nowhere. We had some pizza the first night and after an hour or two of it sitting on the kitchen, ants were all over it. We put all other food away and it was not a problem although we still saw some ants so we cleaned and wiped down tables and the bar daily. However, the rooms were great, The beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was amazing. 5 stars for sure.

This cabin is so spacious and beautiful. Looks and feels just as a cabin should.

We did have to wash silverware after each meal because just enough for everyone, and for pots/pans wish they'd had one big pot. Most were skillets/ sauce pans so had to get creative cooking chili and pasta. If you've got a big crew maybe consider bringing a big pot if you've got room. Overall a great place to stay and will rent this cabin again for sure.

Good property in a good location. We enjoyed our stay during President's Weekend, it was nice to get away after all these months cooped up at home to a mountain cabin. It has a great location, a quiet neighborhood that's 1-2 miles to the grocery store which is to the west. We were lucky to get some snow during our stay and the kids were able to sled on the property (they're 8 and 11 so not giant runs). There are now plenty of cooking pans, and enough silverware/plates/cups for any meal. Good fridge, hot tub on the deck, large kitchen, fireplace, dishwasher, parking for 3-4 cars, TV's with roku/netflix, lots of board games, and wifi. It's not the newest property (mid-90's) but it's a great value and we'd go again.

Overall excellent place to stay only issue is the heating. In order to get the bedroom on the far left side to a temperature comfortable to sleep the other 3 bedrooms are way to hot to sleep comfortable. Next time I will bring a small heater

This house and property is gorgeous. We found the layout perfect for our family of 5. The only real place it lacks is with the kitchen cookware and flatware. There were 6 forks and only 1 dinner knife. A few large fry pans with broken handles and very worn/flaking non-stick. Again, we did have a nice time. Just given Covid and cooking almost entirely at the house, the kitchen issues effected our daily experience at bit more than it might otherwise.

We really like the house and location. There was plenty of room for all of us. The cookware and silverware needs improvement.
