We rented this lovely beach house to celebrate my sister's 80th birthday. It was a small family gathering (6 people) and this house was perfect. It was extremely well appointed and had everything we needed. The owner was amazing and communicated with us frequently. They were very accommodating with our group and really went out of their way to make this weekend special. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

My husband and I hosted our two sons and their wives at the lovely Maritime Flower this past weekend. We were looking for a relaxing weekend away from the city, and this was the perfect place for our family gathering. The house is beautifully decorated with many amenities such as beach chairs, tent etc. As a bonus, our host, Al, was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this property for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway minutes from the beach!

House was clean, located close to the beach in a lovely neighborhood. House suited our needs wonderfully and the property manager went out of his way to accommodate us. Will definitely stay here again!

Not only are the owners so accommodating, responsive, and kind - they have thought of everything. While this rental is still exquisite for renters with no children, it is beyond perfect for families. You don’t have to bring anything other than yourselves, personal items, and a love for the beach. As a family of 7 I cannot tell you how much of a relief it is to rent a vacation where the cribs, changing pad, high chair, toys, beach toys, beach pop up, spices, cleaning supplies, board games, towels, linens, cookware, is there anything I haven’t mentioned, is provided. They even go above and beyond with personalized Yeti tumblers for use during your stay. I would recommend staying at the Maritime Flower for anyone who wants a blissful Galveston vacation.

The house was beautiful, clean , roomy and well stocked. The neighborhood was beautiful. The owner provided beach chairs, a tent, and beach toys for the children and a wagon to pull everything to the beach. The beach was a short walk from the house. Our family really relaxed and enjoyed the house. We plan to rebook it next year.

Our family absolutely loved this beach house! The location is perfect. It's the best of both worlds. You get a quiet, private beach you can walk to but restaurants aren't far away either. The house is gorgeous! Every detail was thought of. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is amazing! Al is so kind and just a phone call away if you need him. We will definitely be visiting again!

Wow! I cannot say enough amazing things about this house and the owner! Al reached out to me before our trip and made me feel welcome and informed before we were even there! Great communication! First off the house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. It was a group of us celebrating the end of the school year with our kids! We were welcomed with a generous gift and balloons! So nice! The rooms and bathrooms are great and has a living area and a game room with games which was perfect for the kids! It is so spaced out and the kitchen and sitting areas inside and out were so nice! A short walk to the beach and they have a wagon, toys, chairs, etc. Do not hesitate to book this house, we will definitely be back! Thank you Al for being so great! Maritime Flower proved to be the perfect base for our family getaway. Six adults and four kids had a great time at the beach. The house was amazing and a very short walk to the beach. Everything you need is there, from well-equipped kitchen to beach tent, chairs and toys. Owner is very attentive, making sure everything was as we needed. We’ll be back!

I was so impressed with everything! First the owner Al is amazing and wants his guests to feel welcomed and your stay wonderful! The master suite was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable and there was enough room for my family and a special needs young man that everyone could even have their own privacy! The home had everything we needed and the beach was just a block away and was very private at the time we were there! I honestly did not want to leave! I was afraid to be in Sun too long as I just recovered from stage 4 cancer but the home had a wagon that we pulled to beach with a couple of chairs and a tent where I could sit in shade! I hope I will have the opportunity to go back! Thank You Al for making our stay very special!! Oh and the Sunflower Cafe was delicious! 😎

This BEAUTIFUL beach home was exactly what I expected and more! Let's start with the owner Al who reached out prior to our stay. He called and introduced himself soon after I booked. We spoke for a bit, as he wanted to get to know his guests on a personal level. I mentioned that my husband would be joining me for the first two days and then I would have my co-workers (teachers) join me for the last night. I told him we were stressed teachers who needed a major break. Lol He agreed and welcomed me right away. After our conversation, I knew I made the right choice in our rental. Upon arrival, I was taken back at the beautiful well kept community. Immediately I felt so relaxed! This place is definitely the BEST vacation home I have ever rented and we vacation in Galveston often. The decor is fresh and up to date. The pictures do no justice. Al was so kind in leaving a personal thank you card and gift........So gracious! Everything you could think of was there at your disposal. Although we had no children on the trip, it is suited for families with children very well. The bedrooms and private bathrooms were AMAZING! Our master bathroom was my favorite!!!!! My other fav was sitting out on the balcony and swinging on the bench swing first thing in the morning listening to the ocean and seagulls. The view of the ocean was a plus as well. It was pure peace! The kitchen was fully stocked and pantry items were available. The beach is a short walk from the home with everything you need in the garage to take with you to lounge and play. There's so much to describe I could take all day. Please don't hesitate on renting. If it's available, TAKE IT or you'll be sorry you didn't make a move. Everyone will enjoy their stay, we all did! Best decision I've made this year thus far! Thanks Al for your generosity and hospitality! We will be back!

Our executive team from work recently went to Galveston for a working retreat. I was tasked with finding a nice place to stay where everyone's needs would be met and where we could work hard and have some fun. Meritime Flower is the perfect place and had everything we could have wanted or needed for our stay. The house was clean, incredibly decorated, comfortable, and well thought out. The kitchen was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. The balcony off the living room had great views and comfortable outdoor furniture to sit and have great conversations. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spectacular. It is only a short (less than 5 minute walk) to the beach. Allen, the owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive and attentive. He made sure all our needs were met...and then some. I would not hesitate to return and will be telling friends and family about this place. If you are looking for a nice, clean, fun place to stay on Galveston Island, this is the place!

Our family enjoyed this beautiful home, walking distance from a private beach in Galveston. The decor is inviting and warm, and every detail is cared for, including books and toys for young children to enjoy. You can see the ocean from the balcony and relax on a porch swing every morning over coffee. If you are looking for a home away from home to getaway to, this is it!! Maritime Flower is the best beach house I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been going to Galveston all of my life. The house has a very modern and new feel to it. It’s very spacious and can easily accommodate 3 families with kids. The owner provides any and everything that you can think of in the kitchen and many toys and games for the kiddos. The beach is only a short walk away. Hurry and book! You won’t regret it.

We booked this home for a family gathering to celebrate our mom’s 80th birthday and it did not disappoint! The Maritime Flower is a beautiful home with lovely decor and plenty of room to spread out. Great kitchen, large island that was great where we could all cook or hang out. Lots of decks and a quick walk to beach. The layout was perfect for multiple family units and had lots of storage with a well-stocked kitchen. We hated to leave and look forward to returning soon!

Our group had a wonderful time at this amazing property within a quick walk to the beach. The home was so well cared for abs stocked that I felt like we were visiting family. The owner even left a list of nicely curated restaurants and activities that he personally recommended. The location was very convenient… a quick drive to stuff, but not in a tourist trap. The neighborhood felt very safe. We had such a great time that we hope to return again sometime.

This was our second time to stay at this house and we can't wait for the next time ! Home is so well decorated with top of the line furniture, the kitchen is a cook's dream and the rooms layout make it so family friendly. and the owner was available before, during and after our stay to answer any questions we had. Definitely a go-to home in Beachside Village.

Luxury accommodations for the Rally! Great location and great host.

We spent our son’s 13th birthday here and had a wonderful time. The home was perfect and had everything you need. The owners are friendly and make sure everything is taken care of. Highly recommend and will come back soon.

Our family has booked this property for a week over Thanksgiving and we wanted a chance to check out the house in advance. We were not disappointed ! Home is outstanding, well appointed decor throughout, great location and owner was so helpful. Can't wait to go back in November.

Where can I begin … from my initial inquiry Fleur has been exceptional!!! She has gone above and beyond when it comes to her amazing property. She is not only genuine but thoughtful and very helpful! I can go on and on about how awesome Fleur is and you can see from other reviews!! Now the property!! The pics do it no justice! The community is gorgeous and the energy exudes tranquility, lush and luxury! As soon as you walk into the home the interior decor is refined beyond amazement AND Fleur has literally thought of everything you may or may not need. It felt like a second home for my guests and I. I was there to celebrate my birthday and personal accomplishments and was greeted with such a thoughtful gift, again showing how amazing Fluer is!! The home is clean, smells amazing, comfortable and worth every penny I spent!! The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are amazing as well! All my guests slept very well and mentioned how they loved the showers! I hired a personal chef and he fell in love with the kitchen and its unique appliances. The faucet and the microwave were definitely a talking point :). I rebooking in the near future for sure!!! I can go on and go but I recommend booking and experiencing the awesomeness Maritime Flower offers!!!! We had a wonderful staycation with family! The home exceeded all expectations. This is a beautiful neighborhood and the beach is private for residents only so we had the beach to ourselves on most days. The beach was just a short walk away and very clean. The home was very family and kid friendly yet everyone had their own personal 5 star space to enjoy when it was time to rest and relax. We enjoyed our morning walks, coffee on the balconies and great entertaining kitchen for making our fun family meals. The dining table fit our entire family not to mention our little girl in the high chair provided by the home owner. The home offers so many little spaces to retreat that you never felt cramped or in each other’s space. It’s safe to say we all feel relaxed end enjoyed our time away making memories of a lifetime! The photos do not do the property justice, at all. We were blown away walking into the house, and throughout the weekend. The hosts had thought of so much more than we could have anticipated. Traveling with small children the house offered more than we could ask for. The smallest detail had been considered. We loved it so much we’ve already booked for next summer.

Great place to take the family for a beach vacation!

Our family had not been on our annual family vacation, normally a beach resort outside the US, since 2019. This Galveston vacation at the Fluer beach house was amazing and it was only an hour drive from Houston. The house was tastefully decorated and was comparable to the resorts that we normally stay. The children really enjoyed the beach and all of the activities that Galveston had to offer. This was our first stay in Galveston, but we will surely return, even when we do vacation outside of the US.

Our family had a great time staying at Maritime Flower! Fleur was great at communicating info before and during our stay. The house is beautiful! The appliances were new and worked very well. The house had everything we needed, from cooking utensils, nice pots/pans, bakeware. Cooking and grilling at the house was a breeze. There was even an xbox for us to play! There was a variety of beach chairs, tent, and toys. The beach is a very short walk and was not crowded at all. There was plenty of space on the beach. We've stayed at other rentals, but this house was just so well stocked. I was highly impressed and would highly recommend it to others. Our family had no complaints!

We had an amazing 11 person family vacation and this house provided more than enough room for all of us. The owners we amazing during a weather forced rescheduling, helping with every detail. We can’t want to come back!!

The neighborhood is beautiful and noticeably newer, cleaner, & overall, nicer than many nearby with beach access. The house itself is is roomy with beautiful finishes. Rather than a beach shanty, you’ll feel in the lap of luxury here. You’re probably 300 hundreds from beach access, which feels like a private beach. There’s a massive difference in beach traffic than the “public” beaches further up Seawall across from the shopping areas. For a family with young children, we appreciated having plenty of our “own” space to wander and explore. We took headlamps down to the beach every night to catch (and release) ghost crabs. Our kids loved it! The owner was incredibly courteous and accommodating. She checked on us regularly and answered questions we had upon arrival (like how to properly work the fancy kitchen faucet!) We would definitely stay again!
