This was our second annual trip to Sweet Summer Rain. It’s a perfect get away for my sisters and our hubs. We enjoyed the fire pit every night, played games galore, hiked and loved the beauty of the area. We will be back!

Cabin was very clean and tidy. Loved the pool table upstairs. Enjoyed our weekend and can't wait to visit again. Nathalie was friendly and helpful. No complaints at all.

We’ve stayed in Hochatown every December for four years and this place didn’t disappoint. It’s in the beautiful forest with lots of space. Our family of 9 had fun in the game room, using the hot tub and hanging out at the fire pit. Lots of good memories made this year.

Beautiful home and a wonderful trip!

My 5 girlfriends and I loved this place. Perfect for a long relaxing weekend with everything you need. Great location with winery, saloon and hiking nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful home! We loved every minute of our stay. It was a wonderful way to wind down & enjoy the gorgeous area.

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Spacious rooms and gorgeous master bathroom. I myself wasn't able to go down to the firepit since I'm disabled but the patio furniture on the balcony was so relaxing and in the evenings we'd sit by the outside portion of the fireplace. Nathalie was very nice, helpful and understanding since this was my first cabin to rent and any questions I had she answered right away.I definitely recommend this relaxing, feels like home, cabin!!!

We love Hochatown and this was definately one of our favorite homes. Beautiful and had everything we needed. Very well stocked. Game room with pool table and arcade was a big hit! The deck and hot tub was also a favorite as well.

The house was amazing and comes with a fire pit and hot tub ready for use. Unfortunately, we did not get to use either due to the weather but because the house has an amazing game room we had a fantastic time staying inside.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The property and location were perfect. The hot tub was enjoyed throughout our stay. Everything was clean and amenities were abundant.

It was perfect for our family and Nathalie was very prompt with details, responded quickly to needs and sent staff to deliver hot tub chemicals quicker than most hotels! The home had everything we needed and was a beautiful view from the back porch and I loved the walk in level of the front door. Close to everything and being at the end of the street gave lots of privacy. We will be back next time headed to Broken Bow. Our three year old grand daughter proclaimed it the best vacation ever!

We had such a great time at this cabin! The cabin was so beautiful and clean. I especially enjoyed the awesome back deck with the fireplace and the hot tub. Some cabins in this area can be difficult to get to, so it was very nice that this cabin was easy to find and had paved roads the whole way. The rooms were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We would absolutely stay here again!

Very quiet and relaxing great getaway

The cabin was perfect and just as listed! You never have to leave! If you do, the cabin feels so remote but you are just minutes from food and play. The kids played non stop for our week there switching between pool, shuffleboard, hot tub and the arcade games as well as streaming on the smart tvs. All info for check in and check out was provided timely and we even received a message to check on us and see if anything was needed. Response from the hostess is very prompt. We had a party of 7 and never felt cramped or on top of each other. The place is absolutely gorgeous!

Great cabin! Very clean, nice location, beautiful house. The games there (pool table, shuffleboard, board games) were a hit! Highly recommend.

The house has everything we needed for a great few days away. My sisters and our hubs enjoyed it all ~ the fire pit, hot tub, shuffleboard and PACman (although controls are loose because of overuse, no doubt). One of the sofas was broken, which we were given a heads up about before arrival ~ it is being replaced today. Kitchen is fully equipped and I suggested new skillets that are non-stick, which will be there for the next guests, per our host. Mattresses are great ~ would like to know the brand! This house is perfect for three couples ~ our group highly recommends!

overall we had a great experience. the guests before us did a little damage which the owners were trying to deal with but they were great to work with and very responsive to any issues / concerns that stemmed from the previous guests

I rented this cabin for my two kids, their spouses and 2 granddaughters and it was perfect!! First, the owner was great about communicating when their was a town water issue. Once we got there, the cabin was spotless, fully stocked (more so than some we have stayed in) and really felt like home. The location was also great, only taking a few min to get to anywhere in town. We will keep this cabin in our favorites for future use with the family or for a friends trip.

We had a great time. The property manager was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The cleaning crew could use an upgrade, but overall this is a great place to stay. Our kids loved exploring the woods and walking around by the creek.

I first want to say the cabin is beautiful, and the owners were kind to work with. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with utensils, baking sheets, even plastic kid’s dishes! The location is also great. It’s very close to Hochatown and the view from the back patio is spectacular. That being said, I would not book a stay here again for a couple of reasons. Our vacation was for two married couples and two infants, so we chose this cabin because it had great amenities the adults could enjoy during nap time when we would be stuck at the cabin. However, one leg on the pool table was broken (causing it to slant quite a bit and seemed unsafe) and there was too little sand with no shaker on the shuffleboard table, so those were both unusable. Additionally the cabin, while decorated beautifully, wasn’t clean. Our infants’ clothes were brown with dirt from crawling on the floor for the first couple of hours after we checked in, there were used tissues and popcorn under the sofas, gobs of toothpaste in one of the bathroom sinks, trash left behind in the shower, much of the furniture was dusty, and some of the towels were very stained and smelled moldy. Because of the lack of cleanliness in the cabin, we didn’t feel comfortable using the hot tub, so that was another amenity we intended on using but didn’t. Additionally, the snacks and k-cups set out on display for guests were both expired. The snacks by 3 months (Sept 2022), and the k-cups by a full year (Dec 2021). While this really isn’t a deal-breaker, it does indicate to me that the regular upkeep of the cabin isn’t as diligent as it should be. Also along this same line- the top rack of the dishwasher was broken as were both of the pull out sofa beds (The owner did message us about the sofa beds an hour before our check in time, so it is very possible that this was a new development from guests who checked out prior to our stay.) We brought the issues we noticed the night before to the owners’ attention the morning after we checked in (the floors, the pool table, the bathrooms), and they refunded our cleaning fee, which we thought was very fair. Overall, we did have a great time. Again, the cabin itself is very nice and location of the cabin in Hochatown was great - close enough to everything and just secluded enough to feel private. The issues we had all just had to do with the maintenance and cleanliness of the cabin between guests.

The cabin was absolutely amazing and so beautiful. The Christmas tree made it even more cozy. Everything about this cabin was cozy and none of us wanted to leave

The house and property were lovely. The kids loved walking along the creek in the backyard and everyone enjoyed the pool table and games. We were able to see deer come in the back. It was a great house and location!!

The cabin was super homey and perfect! Absolutely quiet neighborhood with a small creek running through! Plenty of wildlife walking next to the cabin! We will definitely be back!
