This place is great to just recoup from being overworked. That’s what we did. Firepit, hot tub, billiards and grilling. But there’s plenty around if you want to be active. Had we had more time, we’d definitely do more activities.

Everything went well from booking to checking out. The cabin is large and set-up perfectly for families to spend quality time together whether that be over a meal with a large table, making s’mores around a firepit, playing pool, playing board games or just relaxing and having good conversation on the large outside patio. Our family of 10 were together doing all these things and we couldn’t have had a better place to do it. If I had to give any input to improve our stay it would be having more kitchen hand towels and wash cloths. Had zero problems during our stay. We plan to return!

This property is exactly what we were looking for for our family/friend get away. Had plenty of space to spread out, a high point was having 3 king beds in each suite with their own bathroom. The game room area was a favorite hang out spot and our kids throughly enjoyed playing pool and pac man! The back patio is just want you want while grilling plenty of space and grill worked great! Host was very responsive and we will definitely be back sooner than later. If you’re up in the air about a spot I assure you this one is the way to go!

This is a beautiful property even better than the pictures. Easy to find and plenty big enough for the eight of us. The kids loved the bunk and game room.

The home was very clean and tidy. The kids enjoyed the outside play gym and games. Spent the evenings on the outdoor deck which was beautiful and peaceful. Ashley was very responsive throughout the process. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Family from Austin, Boerne, and Nacogdoches, Texas gathered over the long Easter weekend to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. We had six adults, a 14-yr and a 10-yr. Ammenities were as described with all having ample room. Pool table and hot tub were big attractions. Guided rainbow trout fishing and all-day pontoon boat ride were great, too.

Love the 3 master berdrooms with bath, kids love the bunk beds also with their own bath. Well appointed cabin in a nice location, away from high traffic roads.

We absolutely loved our stay at your gorgeous cabin. We loved the layout with the grandparents they were able to stay and do everything with the family in the common area and not have to go up and down stairs which is a huge plus. We have made so many memories with family and all the little details that were put into the house were appreciated. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and we loved the beautiful Christmas tree. The kids loved the outdoor playground equipment and the bonfire area. 100% will rent again

Our annual trip to Broken Bow the weekend after Thanksgiving, has become one of our favorite holiday traditions. We spend a few days relaxing, hiking, playing games, puzzling, and just spending some quality time with our adult children. Hold Your Horses is awesome! The cabin is beautifully decorated. The game room & outdoor activities kept us entertained the entire trip. And, there are restaurants, breweries, etc… within driving distance. We had a great time.

We met our kids (18-24 years) and a few of their friends for a long weekend and it was amazing. Plenty of space to hang out, play games, unplug, and just enjoy time together!! We could not get together this summer so decided on fall…kids came from Tulsa. DFW, and Stillwater. Great family meals, games around the table, s’mores at the fire pit, and great beds for rest after a long day of play!! Home was perfect!

We stayed for five nights at Hold Your Horses and loved every minute. Even my little ones didn’t want to leave. The first night we were there the back patio lock broke (wear) the owners had someone out right away. Very sweet, and helpful. We will definitely be booking again.

We could not have asked for a better stay! The house has the most beautiful views and was well taken care of and clean. The beds were comfortable, bathroom had plenty of towels and kitchen is more than well stocked. We took 8 moms who needed a weekend to recharge their batteries and we left with our spirits filled! Ashley and Ryan thought of every minor detail, were extremely responsive and kind we couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Was a wonderful home and everything was really great! Very clean, and extremely well stocked with anything/everything you would need for a stay. Owners have clearly thought about the "small things" that make your stay so much more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend 'Hold Your Horses'!

House was great. the "sleeping wall" was really cool for the kids. The trees are amazing and the little guys hunted rocks the whole time.

Booked this one for 3 nights with friends. Cabin smells new and was very clean upon arrival. All guests commented how comfortable the beds were and the master shower is SWEET! Ashley responded very fast for a couple questions we had and was very nice. Definitely recommend staying here!

Great property for children. The bunk beds were a hit, and the adults all had their own room with big showers. The property had everything we needed plus some. Would definitely return.

We live in Texas We have a daughter going to OU. This is a perfect middle ground to meet up with her so she doesn't have to drive all the way home. Hold your Horses was amazing. It's a new cabin with all sorts of fun things included like a pool table and hot tub! Will come back! Highly recommend!
