This is probably the nicest rental property we have had the pleasure of staying in. I assume it was newly built because the quality of construction and finishes is top notch. The bathrooms in particular are really nice. The open great room/kitchen is a wonderful place for the family to hang out and the views of Boulder Bay are spectacular. This was our first time in Big Bear so we weren't super familiar with the town's layout. Honestly it was really nice being on the quiet western part of town. The only downside of this location is that on a busy weekend like New Year's, there is a lot of traffic going through town. So if you need to get to the Von's or restaurants, you will probably sit in traffic. That said, we really enjoyed that our lodging was in a quiet area away from crowds and traffic. Definitely recommend arriving with some food, etc. so that you don't have to immediately turn around and head to the store across town. If coming back to Big Bear I would definitely stay here again!

We had four kids ages 4 to 10 and the rooms were perfect for us. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but we did get to enjoy the hot tub and the hammock. Everything was really clean and the self check in process was easy. The location is near the lake so we also got to walk to Boulder Bay park, a very popular tourist area where kids can slide down the hill. I think previous folks left their sled stuff in garage so we didn’t have to buy new ones. Overall a perfect two night stay for our extended family. Would definitely come back again.

The cabin is beautiful inside and out. Brand new construction, had everything we needed and more. Our kids absokutely loved the view and the playroom. The owner was so accomodating, communicated with us from the time we booked until after we checked out. He constantly checked in on us, and made sure we were comfortable and were enjoying our stay. Will definately be back.

When we walked into the home we were all amazed the home was spectacular. I brought pots, toilet paper, etc however it was unnecessary there was everything we needed there and more. David went over and beyond to make sure our girls trip was amazing! Thank you! We will be back!

I’ve been to big bear plenty of times and stood in many cabins but this one takes the crown. Very clean, nice views and modern. My family loved it. Looking forward to making another reservation soon. Thank you

Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. The location was great and we really enjoyed having central ac as well as being able to relax at the of the day in the hot tub. The kids had a blast having their own room with bunk beds too! David was really great about constantly checking in on us to make sure our stay was going ok and to see if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a more modern and up to date condo stay here.

The place was very spacious, clean & new. It was nice having the central air conditioning even though the downstairs got a lot colder than the upstairs. I was perfectly okay with it - but some of the guests were a little cold at night. The top floor could use some window coverings - especially in the bathroom. Again - I was okay with it - but the ladies were a little considered about people having the ability to seeing in at night. But that aside - being a frequent visitor to Big Bear Lake - the home was an enjoyable stay - and definitely one of the nicest yet.

bay view is very nice and well maintained. we enjoyed our stay there. We did have an issue with the shower in master bath but the managers resolved this the next day at a time that was convenient for us. I suspect the previous visitor might have washed a dog in that master shower and might have changed the shower head. This issue does not impact the rating in my mind or experience. The whole week it rained in big bear and so we couldn't enjoy the spa and patios but it was well kept from what i saw. We had a great time overall and would come back another time if we could, i imagine in winter it would be very nice. Thank you to the bayview team for taking care of their property which made our stay very enjoyable.

Can't say enough great things about this place! The place is exactly as pictured. The open floor plan, the kitchen with the great island, and the 2 level decks! We never tired of the spectacular views of Boulder Bay. Super Clean and like a 5 star hotel with all the amenities. The owner, David, responded promptly whenever we had any questions. Ruben, the property manager, offered 1st class service if needed. We stayed a week and we were sad to go. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful vacation home!

The house is as beautiful in reality as it is in the pictures. My family had an amazing time. The house was spotless, well stocked and in a beautiful location. If you are debating booking it, don’t. You’ll love it like we did.

I'm a regular with VRBO and utilize short term rentals 4 - 5 times per year with my family. This property may just be my all time favorite. The pictures really can't portray the feeling of ease and calm you feel when walking in. The home is beautiful, tasteful, well equipped and very clean. The location, outdoor spaces and views are unbeatable. The manager was super friendly and always accessible, even though we had zero complaints or needs during our stay. My son and I were so sad when we had to leave. We would have loved to stay all summer!

Beautiful home sitting high on a private hill! Just as described. Host thought of every detail! The morning wake up to hot air balloons in the distance was spectacular! Awesome mattresses! 1 minute to several wineries! Celebrated my father and stepmother anniversary and the home was more than comfortable! Thank you again to our gracious hosts!

We had a great stay at this property. Beautiful brand new home with great views of the mountain and lake. Property was super clean and owner was very responsive. Great location close drive to village and slopes. We felt at home during our short stay and would love to come back. The family room is spacious for large group with great tv and spacious kitchen. Jacuzzi and deck with awesome views a plus. Beds were comfortable! You won’t be disappointed with this property

This place was amazing! Brand new home, it even still smells like new. The view was spectacular! Right next to the water and hiking trails. Famous Castle Rock trail is within walking distance. Downtown Big Bear is 5 minutes away and it's only 13 minutes to Bear Mountain. Super convenient location and the host (David) was so generous and great in communication! We’ve enjoyed our stay very much. We’ll be back again!
