We love the location. The home itself was nice and beautiful, but the fireplace did not work. It got turned on and then wouldn't shut off on its own remotefor it wouldnot work. Had to get the fireplace shut completely off because it was getting way too hot. Did not get to use the fireplace at all but the heaters worked.The home was still cozy!

I love visiting the Yankee Fork area, and this cabin is a great place if you don't want to camp or be too primitive.
The manager/owner is very welcoming and helpful.
I didn't realize it before, but the neighborhood this cabin is in is the original camp/town created for the dredge workers and their families and I thought that was an interesting historical tie to the area.
One note on accessibility: the shower/tub combo is a big jetted tub and it is quite the climb in and out, so just a heads up for someone that might have difficulty doing that.

We enjoyed our stay at Claude's cabin very much. It was clean and comfortable. Nice atmosphere and very homey. Our host Eric was very accommodating and friendly.
The bedroom setups are different than shown on line. It says there are 2 queens in bedroom 1, 2 queens in bedroom 2, and 2 bunkbeds in bedroom 3. However, the set up was 1 queen, 2 queens, and 1 bunk with double on bottom and single on top. But they were very comfortable including the couch hide-a-bed. It's a beautiful area and we enjoyed exploring and seeing the highlights. We'd stay again.

Yankee Fork was right across the road and we had tons of fun exploring the river and catching lots of fish. The gold dredge and ghost town up the road were interesting.

Great spot to explore the Stanley area. Plenty of historical sights and beautiful views. Clean, spacious, attractive cabin. Nice front porch for grilling.

We had a wonderful time with friends and family! So much to do in Yankee Fork!! Hosts are wonderful - Very easy to get in touch with. If you need anything they are but a text away.

We had a great experience staying at Claud’s cabin. Beds for sleeping, a well stocked kitchen, and we even had a fire in the pit. I would definitely recommend.

Clean and Quiet
This home was well outfitted with great furniture and dishes. Comfy beds, quiet neighborhood. It was a little further from Stanley than I had thought but it is in a beautiful little canyon and I wish we had more time to explore.

Claud’s cabin was a wonderful place very comfortable has a ton of amenities everything was great

Interesting Location
This house is located in a really interesting area. It's on the Yankee Fork of the Salmon River and close to the Yankee Fork mine dredge. Out of Stanley, but close enough to do Stanley things -- river raft, breakfast at the bakery, etc. The house was clean and comfortable. It has a well-stocked kitchen where we were able to cook two great family dinners.

Amazing location and property
Eric was one of the best hosts I have rented from and would do it again. Beautiful area and he gave us so many good ideas. Loved my weekend and best 60th Birthday for my husband! Thank you a million times

Perfect cabin in the perfect location
Claud's Cabin is the absolute best! The cabin is clean, cozy, super inviting, and the owner has thought of everything. There are so many amenities that make you feel right at home. The location on the Yankee Fork is fabulous (and has a very interesting history including ghost towns). We were close to Sunbeam Hot Springs, White Otter Adventures, Boat Box Hot Springs, and the town of Stanley. We had the best vacation and could not have picked a better cabin to be our home away from home and to get the full Salmon/Challis/Sawtooth experience. The owner is awesome and provides great communication, travel tips, and wants to make sure you have the best time. We can't wait to return as guests at Claud's Cabin soon!
