This is a great house with a wonderful view of Mirror Lake. The house is spacious. There are 2 bedrooms and bathrooms in the main floor but the other bedroom with double beds and a bunk bed is in the basement area and has a musty odor. The dehumidifier does help but must be emptied multiple times a day. It is an older house that could use some TLC but honestly it was perfect for our family during our daughter's Ironman race in mid July. I would stay there again.

Short walk to middle of Main Street; property perfectly located for shopping, restaurants and ice rink. Spacious house with plenty of parking. Layout, rooms and amenities as advertised. Hosts very available and responsive. Would stay here again.

The house is in a perfect location. Easy walk to town (tough going back up, but we were forewarned). The layout of this spacious home is fantastic. Slept in downstairs bedroom which was comfortable and quiet. We would definitely rent this again.

Perfect amount of space for 3 kids and 6 adults. Loved that we were one block from town. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and the dishwasher was nice!
We wished there was AC so be prepped for that. There are enough fans but they can only do so much. A grill would have been nice but we made it work. Recommend if you can make do with fans!

Stayed here with my 14-year-old daughter and husband's parents. We loved everything about this home, from its view ... to its decor ... to its proximity. Also, Meghan was wonderfully responsive to all our inquiries. We hope to return again next year!

Our family of 6 (adults) stayed here for vacation and had a great time! The house was updated, laid out well, and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The deck had great view if Mirror Lake and was peaceful to relax on! Best of all was the location to town which was within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, shops, and the beach. The neighborhood was quiet. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. A win-win!!

Roomy House and Great Location
The house was great - very comfortable for 4 adults and two teens. Great location -- provides view of Mirror Lake; walking distance to town and beach (and very quiet too!). The property was very well-equipped; had many comfortable areas for lounging around; nice deck overlooking the Mirror Lake -- it was very clean as well. Wifi was fine. Hosts were easy to get a hold of and immediately responded to any concerns that we had (all very minor!). We would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Excellent location and roomy
Stayed for Ironman last weekend and would not have had to use our car once if we did not want to venture out and see the sites. House is that close to everything. If you are doing the Ironman next year, book now. Great cancellation policy and quick response to all questions. House was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. Appreciated easy check-in and check out. View of Mirror Lake is great and porch is excellent place to relax.
Would definitely recommend this place to others. Enjoy.

Wonderful location
We loved our stay over the 4th of July weekend. Amazing location. Up a slightly steep hill but it was worth not having to drive. We we push our stroller up and down with our 2 and 3yr old children.
Slept a day a the beach and park which are an 8 min walk from the house. There’s also another park down the street.
The house has plenty of hot water, beds are comfortable, the porch is really nice with great views of the lake. We could not see the fireworks from the porch as the trees are in the way but not a big deal.

Lake Placid trip
Really excellent location. Weather didn't cooperate but we were able to enjoy the deck and the great view for an afternoon. Easy access to Main Street, but also easy to drive out the "back" side to access the high peaks and avoid the construction on Main St. Very spacious property and very comfortable. Will definitely be at the top of our list for return trips.

This was a great house. Description and photos are very accurate.
Very clean , spacious and overall comfy feel.
Outside deck great for morning coffee , afternoon read or just pure relaxation. The view was great.
Location great - after very active days it was only 5 minute walk into town for dinner .

Great location for a family ski getaway
Our family was very pleased with our stay. Description and pictures were accurate. Communications were prompt and friendly. Plenty of room and comfort (beds & bath) for a family of five with two teenagers, a grandmother and uncle. Location near Main Street was excellent. Short & flat driveway was a plus for our less mobile grandmother. We would stay here again with no hesitation.

Fantastic Home
Everything about it is wonderful. Communication is great and we were a happy, comfy family of 8. Great kitchen supplies and it was immaculately clean. We all loved it from 6 years to 73! Location couldn’t be better as we could walk into town pretty easily, so no having to fight for parking! We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful house right near downtown with great views! Check-in and check-out is very easy with a lockbox. Overall plenty of beds, bathrooms and space for a large gathering. Looks like the owner is putting more back into the house to make it even better!

Great experience
Jason and Meghan were great hosts and have a wonderful property. Centrally located and a two minute walk from Main Street with a wonderful view of mirror lake and the Adirondack’s. Their home is Extremely clean and well laid out and it’s the perfect size for our group of 10. The house is a short ten minute ride to white face mountain. We will definitely stay their again.

The house was perfect and we enjoyed our stay. Everything was as expected: nice kitchen, big rooms, cozy tv room and sitting room, 3 bathrooms was such a treat! Quick walk down the hill to main street and short drive from everything else. Look no further for the best house in Lake Placid!

Best Rental in this area
I have rented multiple properties in the area and this is the best one I have ever rented. The location is amazing to walk into the town. I loved having a coffee spot nearby. The rental was spacious and clean. I can't wait to go back! Great for couples and families. Thanks for a great time.

Amazing Location & Very Clean - can't beat it!
We took advantage of the "first to book" discount this property was offering as a new listing and we are SO glad we did! What a location! Could walk to Main Street in 3 minutes and the deck with a view is everything. VERY clean, you can tell it is newly renovated. Owners said they are adding more living space in the basement next year. We will definitely be back and bring our friends! PS - the master bed is beyond comfortable with a view that was hard to leave!
