Loved our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for our extended family group of 6 adults. The stand-out mention is for the great location with spectacular, unobstructed views. Communication with host, Melinda, was easy. She was so helpful and quick to respond to a couple of questions that came up during our visit. We hope to return to Cambria again and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this place.

Directly across the street from a nice park/playground and facing the ocean, this property is lovely - clean, spacious, with off-street parking and a deck also facing the ocean. It was perfect for our family.

Wonderful place to enjoy Cambria. At night you can hear the waves crashing on the beach. Beautiful views of the ocean. Location is great for walks on the beach. The house was clean & beds comfy. The home is a little dated with decor and fixtures and small oven but we were able to make some good meals.

The stairs to the main entrance has exposed rusty nails, handrail deteriorated with splinters. As we entered the property, encountered spider webs in kitchen, living area, and den area. Spider webs under the couch and under the black leather chairs in the living room. Deck, soft rotting wood on left side of deck, we sat on the opposite side for safety. Previous tenants dishes were in the dishwasher upon our arrival. Queen bed in guest room has exposed metal and squeaked, difficult to sleep. Master bed was comfy. Blinds are rusty, old, and bent. Three clothes hangers for three rooms! I could go on, but what’s the point? Based on previous reviews, we knew the place was dated. The property owner (premier host) stated back in 2022 that complete renovations were underway. ‘Guessing those improvements are delayed. As a safety professional for 35 years, this property has so much deferred maintenance; be mindful during your stay. It’s an incredible location! Beach across from the park… fantastic. The only redeeming factor. We have provided some direct feedback to Melinda to address these concerns.

6 adults had plenty of room, not sure why someone else said it was small for 6 people. The only place that was cramped was the kitchen, if more than a couple of us were in there, which only happened at packing up time. Proximity to the beaches, trails and shopping couldn't be beat. Melinda was super responsive with a couple little hiccups we had, accidentally locking the bedroom doors and an small issue with the kitchen drain. Loved having the doors open and hearing the surf! We will stay here again, when we come back to Cambria!

The property was nice and clean and close the ocean .. see. We could even see dolphins from the purge. Was a bit small for six. The contact with the host was very good. Overall a very nice stay

We spent 3 days relaxing at this comfortable home. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. It would be ideal for families with children because of the proximity to the park and the beach. The stairs were a little challenging for us seniors though.

Cozy home with amazing view & only steps to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. Comfortable beds with cozy bedding. Fun play room downstairs with ping pong & other games. Definitely returning here to make more wonderful memories. Hostess very responsive & super helpful.

This was our second stay and we had an amazing time. You can't beat the sunsets from the deck and dining table -- this place has location, location, location. Great stay, great time, great place.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks here just before the new school year started. The location was perfect for all with the park and ocean across the street. The view from all floors of the house afforded unique sunsets every night. The kitchen was quite workable to produce our family meals. The dining space supplied enough room for dining as well as family game night. Finally we rested well each night with the sound of ocean waves as our lullaby.

The house was very comfortable and clean. Views and sounds of the ocean were extra special. Melinda was a very gracious host.

Can thoroughly recommend this property. The host responded quickly and helpfully with any queries. The house is very well located across a small road from the beach and is spacious and well equipped. There is a large balcony off the main room with a great view and smaller balconies from all 3 bedrooms. Beds are comfy and rooms pleasant and spacious. Cambria is a pretty town with lovely shops and restaurants Approx 20 mins walk from the house. We loved our time there and only wished we could have stayed longer.

Accommodations were fine, this was a girls trip ,3 of us. However, the 2nd bathroom had no hot water so we all shared the master bathroom.

The five of us had a great time. The ocean view was fabulous. The house was roomy and the beds comfy. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We would definitely stay again.

Property Manager was responsive, understanding and accommodating as we finalized some changes to our reservation - Thank You! The home, while older and dated, was clean and lovely place to ‘beach bum’ around Cambria while visiting with nearby for family to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Plus the view of the ocean from the deck was simply beautiful - we enjoyed evening cocktail hour and morning coffee each day while chatting and watching the waves crash on the beach across the street.

The house was perfect for our family reunion. Easy access to the beach. View of the ocean from most rooms. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and spices.

We're three 65 year old female friends since age 12. This was our first vacation together and first time using VRBO. Therefore, the entire process was a learning experience. The property owner, was very nice and helpful, she responded to our text questions quickly. The beds were very comfortable, this older house is very spacious, we didn't cook but the appliances looked updated, the "game room" in the garage was not useable, maybe because of all the wind and rain. This year broke rain records! The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths, the master bath is very large with a beautiful large shower with a large bench seat, but the only light source in the shower is a sky light, so take a shower durning the day! The central HVAC kept us warm, and it's rare to find AC on the coast! We recommed this house because of the cozy furniture, throw pillows, blankets, and free footie socks like being at grandma's house! It's in a beautiful, central location, you can see and hear the ocean and waves hitting the beach, the sunset is amazing, it's a quick walk to the park and beach across the street. If it wasn't raining, we had many places to easily walk to. We will return as soon as possible!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house in Cambria. The location couldn’t have been better, close to town for shopping and restaurants and directly across from Shamel Park and the beach. It was very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. We loved going to sleep listening to the waves and enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the ocean. The house is great for families with lots of space.

Fantastic Location with beautiful view of the ocean. Easy walk along Moonstone beach. Plenty of room for 5 girls on our beach/ wine tasting weekend. Very comfortable beds. We had a lovely stay.

It is the perfect location, you couldn't ask for anything better. It is right across from a beach and a park. Easy access to walk to the water to watch the sunset. The porch is perfect for morning coffee or people watching. The sunsets were incredible which you could enjoy from inside, the porch, or the beach. Bring your own seasonings, teas, coffee, etc. Nice little back patio if you bring a pet! Our lab enjoyed his stay :)

I highly recommend a stay here! An absolute dream location to host my family for Christmas. We loved being so close to the beach and enjoyed daily beach walks that were wonderful. I was concerned about the state of the house since some of the reviews had negative connotations about the interior, but honestly it was great! Sure it was a little dated, but everything was working and it gave cozy home vibes. Also the kitchen was pretty well stocked so my family was able to make our Christmas favorites of Posole, Champurrado, and endless treats. The only thing that made me nervous was that I didn't receive the check in instructions until a couple hours before check in...and I've read so many articles about last minute cancellations, so I was worried. Thankfully Melinda was pretty communicative! I also really appreciated that the check in/check out process was really easy. Overall, could not recommend this any higher for a family get away!
