Appreciated the quick and accommodating help from the owners. Home was perfect for a team/group.

Every other year we get together with all of the kids and grandkids at a new area. This year it was Waterloo. We had a great time being together and enjoyed music from kids, playing games and food. Everything ended too soon, but many memories made. The property met our expectations but the weather did not allow anything outdoor.

Our family of 16, 8-adults 8-children(12-7months) had a great stay at this location! Lots of space, comfortable beds, cleanliness, & plenty of options to keep our group busy. The host sent clear easy directions for check in & quick response to questions. We would definitely look into staying again.

This house was the perfect size for our family trip! Wonderful layout with plenty of bedrooms and space for a large group. The house was very comfortable and clean with great activities to keep the adults and kids entertained! We would love to stay again this summer and visit the nearby waterpark! Highly recommend!

The location and layout of this house fit our needs perfectly! My brothers and their families, Mom and I have gathered the past 25 years the week of T-day. This year Mom didn't feel up to traveling, so we came from 6 different states! The 3 bedrooms on main level worked great for my 3 brothers, the bunk beds were perfect for 4 cousins (ages 8-13) and the pull out sofa sleepers perfect for 15 & 16 yr old! The big open family room allowed for football, puzzles, and great conversation with plenty of laughter. Kids even caught and released 2 fish from the pond! Thanks for allowing us to create lasting memories at your house

The home worked great for a family weekend. The house was clean and exactly as expected. The air hockey table was good fun too!

We had a great time staying at the property. They had everything we needed and more! Yard games, fishing poles, chairs, extra pillows and blankets. It accommodated multiple families. We had enough space to have an adult hangout and the kids were busy playing downstairs. The pullout couches were a bonus for kids who wanted to have a slumber party. The hosts were very quick to respond. All of the families were impressed with the basket of snacks and the toiletries provided if we forgot ours. We can’t wait until next years family weekend. We will definitely book this place again!

It was a great house easy to find quiet neighborhood. The backyard and porch gave lots of outdoor space for kids and adults. House has two living rooms and gave us a chance to have space for different age groups.

We had a family get-together in the Waterloo/CF area and wanted a place near Lost Island waterpark. This home was the perfect, nearby location. The house was spotless and had all the essentials. We felt right at home! Rapid communication with the owner/management as well. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

House was perfect for our family of 12. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable and host even provided snacks. The kids loved having the ping pong table and air hockey game. Nice that the host provided information about nearby restaurants. Couldn’t be happier with our stay!!

We had a GREAT stay at this house! It was clean, comfortable, and really well stocked with necessities. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. There was so much entertainment provided! We loved it!

This beautiful home was perfect for our stay with adult children and grandkids, while we visited Lost Island Water Park and Theme Park just down the road. We were happy to find it available for the 3 nights we wanted and even happier when we got there and went inside! The neighborhood was quiet. House was spacious, well furnished and nicely decorated. The pictures don't do it justice! Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and so was the large sectional. The kids, ages 3-15, had their own space downstairs, played lots of ping pong and had room for outdoor games in back yard. We enjoyed the deck and grill. Only needed sticks for roasting marshmallows, which we got at Walmart. We were impressed with the quality hair products provided, pantry staples, big soft towels and extra comfy blankets! The fishing pond right in back of the house was a bonus. Rods/reels and tackle were provided but we brought cane poles for our young grandsons, who caught several fish with worms. Nick was very accommodating and quick to answer my questions. I highly recommend this lovely, comfortable home. Thanks again Nick, I appreciate your help! The house was perfect for our families with young kids. The kids pretty much lived in the basement, which meant the adults could hang out upstairs and actually relax! There was enough space for everyone and the nearby waterpark was a huge hit! We will definitely be returning again.

What a wonderful home to spend with our extended family of 13 people ages 3 - 76. Clean, plenty of room, beds were all very comfortable. Especially enjoyed the setting near a pond. We appreciated being able to use the grill for our Sat night meal. Location perfect to enjoy the Lost Island Water Park. We will definitely stay again if in that area.

Loved this place! It was a very quick drive to the Lost Island park and was enough space for our whole family (grandparents, siblings, spouses, grandkids) to sleep and spread out. We loved the backyard pond and even caught a few bass! The patio was nice to relax and enjoy morning coffee and an evening fire. The kids had a blast playing air hockey and ping pong. We hope to stay again next summer!

Great time!

We absolutely loved staying at this house and are already talking about “next time”! It was so close to Lost Island amusement park and Waterpark. While we live in the Cedar Valley, our family lives 3 hours away. We wanted a place to all stay together that felt more like home than hotel rooms do. So many small added details definitely made it feel like home! I don’t know how many times I heard… “they even have ___”!! Fishing poles for the pond, many board games, video games, movies, ping pong, air hockey, even extra toothbrushes that a few kids needed! Kitchen was very well supplied for cooking. Owners did a great job communicating. Neighborhood was quiet and backyard was serene! We will definitely be back!!

This was an excellent venue for our group of eight women. Lots of room and well appointed amenities. Quiet quality. I would highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed! Thank you to the owners for the quality stay.

Great stay - provided fishing poles for the pond and we caught large mouth bass and blue gills every time we tried. Video games, ping pong table, board games. Worked great for our extended family of 11.

We had a wonderful stay! 5 adults and 4 children. It was roomy and perfect for us. We loved the ping pong table. We also went fishing and had tons of fun. Would definitely recommend!

The house was large enough for our family (4 bedrooms and sofa sleeper) and plenty of room to move about. The children and adults had a great time at the fishing pond (bass and sunfish, even a catfish). Back yard was quiet and large enough to enjoy time playing. Must mention that the ping-pong table was the site for many challenges to determine the overall winner. We were able to daily visit many local areas for the children (Palmers family fun in Cedar Falls) and the Arts center downtown for youth. Nick was a great host. He was very responsive and let us check in early. The house was perfect for my large group. There were plenty of games and activities around the house to keep us entertained.

This place was great.. Host was very responsive .. The house was beautiful and very comfortable... Close to town.. The fishing pond was feet from the back door...We brought our own poles.. But the host also provided poles and tackle.. Game room and game consoles for the kids downstairs.. You won't find a better place to stay.. Wish we could of stayed longer.. Definitely coming back!

This place was perfect for our leadership team offsite meeting. Everything we needed was there, it was clean, there was plenty of room, it was perfect!

Me & my wrestling team stayed at this amazing property with 6 other parents, 13 total, and had a great time. The location was ideal and in a quiet neighborhood with a fishing pond just outside the back door. Between the gameroom and grill, it was roomy & spectacular. Will definitely return.

We were in town for a family event. 15 of us stayed at the rental. There was plenty of room for us.

This might be a bit long but this house deserves a great review! I only used VRBO once and was disappointed because the owners lived in the basement and that wasn’t in the description so I said I would never use VRBO again but that was about 5 years ago so I said I would try it again and this house made up for it! Not only will I use VRBO because of this house but my family and I have a forever vacation home to go to when we want to visit my brother in Waverly. The house is in immaculate condition. Every time we thought we would need to go to the store to get something, the house came through for us every-time. This home is literally a home away from home! It is worth every penny and more. The owner is so attentive and answers very quickly. The game room is perfect and the house is so spacious! The beds felt so good we didn’t want to get up! We actually left somethings in the house and he is shipping that to us. I can only give 5 stars on here but this house and owner deserves 10 stars! Thank you Mr. Hellman for everything!
